New Hope Market

We have been meaning to try this place for a while, and finally got out for dinner recently. Cute place with a nice mix of retail and restaurant service. Outdoor seating space was nice considering it is close to the road. Place was busy for a Tuesday night and parking was tight. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was in the mood for a burger, and they grilled it to perfection. My wife had the grain bowl, and she thought it perfect. Nice selection of beer and other beverages, as well as nicely stocked dessert case. We will be back!

I don't get out this way, but I have a new chiropractor in Chapel Hill and go right by there. We just got back in town and had no food, so I stopped in to see what they had. They carry beer, wine, local meats, cheeses, eggs, fruits and veggies, crafts, jams, sauces, and some normal grocery type items. They have a nice menu of food and desserts to die for. Rhe decor has a modern yet rustic or old timey feel with mixed items. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I got the Korean burger with potato salad for me and slaw for the hubbie. Potato salad is made with red potatoes and is creamy. Rhe slaw has tri-color hot peppers and is vinegar based - yum. The burgers were cooked nicely and the Korean flaors set it off. Rhe chicken salad was chunky and creamy - very good. The lemon pie is not yellow (lemon juice is not really yellow), so I had to read the label. Oh my! Best lemon pie! So tart and sweet. Rhe apple pie had the best crust and crumble topping! The Mac and cheese was very cheesy and the bread crumb topping set it off. The meat quiche was also good, but a little fluffier than I expected. I like it a little more dense, but still very good. Great indoor and outdoor seating. You should check it out.

Food was beyond amazing !!! Their staff was nice and friendly and their atmosphere was extremely clean and well maintained.

Num num! They have a great breakfast and lunch menu, various salads by the pound, desserts, and fantastic customer service. What else could you want?!Well, you could browse the store as you wait for your food order to come up, incl the cold coolers that have milk, eggs, & meat. Also produce that's in season and various gifts. Or you can sit outside weather permitting or a table inside. Great people watching too!I made a special trip over from south Durham when I saw one of the specials listed today on their FB page was strawberry rhubarb pie. I can't remember the last time I had that!I got the pie to go, a slice of spice cake for my sweetie, and a loaf of Bread Shop sunflower bread. I decided to stay and have lunch and was lucky to get the last avail table inside at around 12:15. Yes, it's a busy lunch spot, esp on a beautiful day!I had a cup of the butternut squash soup topped with homemade croutons, which was delicious! It came in the bowl, but just halfway cos it I ordered the cup portion. Now that I know how good it is and how big the bowl portion would have been I'm getting that next time. The soup was also one of the daily specials. I wanted to add the bacon quiche, but it was already sold out so got a grilled cheese which is good too.I so wish this was closer to where I live cos I'd definitely visit more often!

Love this local market! Tried their breakfast menu with a friend. We got biscuits and gravy, veggie quiche, and gluten free chocolate chip banana bread. All of the baked goods and sweets looked amazing. The market side was full of fresh produce and there were lots of options for jams, jellies and spreads. It had a sweet and cozy atmosphere between the good food and friendly staff.

Great local market!!! Everything tasted really fresh & the prices were good. I got the burger & everything about it was scrumptious!!!! They also had fresh wedge fries. I finished it off with a slice of chocolate chess pie & it was perfectly rich & moist. The one thing I will warn about is they charge an up charge for card payments.

Fun place for lunch. Great main dishes and desserts! Very down home. Creative and tasty. Very casual. Great place after walk in woods!

Food is excellent, if you can stop in for breakfast I'd suggest ordering the burrito. May become my new staple spot around town in Durham. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere is as the name suggest, an old fashioned market, which is a nice change. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu items, nothing has disappointed yet

New Hope Market is on my way to work, and just a mile from home.It's a wonderful little local cafe, local foods, local arts and crafts for sale, local honey and candies and some of the best gluten-free scones on earth.Good people, too, and they cater.

Food was delicious. Service was fast and courteous. The ambiance is very inviting and relaxing. Overall, a nice place for a quick bite!
