The food is terrible, no flavor and undercooked. And the owners are very nasty and rude people who do not know how to treat customers. No. 1 Cafe is a much better establishment. Food is amazing and the people are very warm.

A co worker and I grabbed the Pu Pu platter the other day at lunch. Idk what was in it. I think it was like the Too Good To Go APP. whatever everyone ordered and didn't pick up throughout the day got thrown in the container. After opening the food I had to read the description again to try and figure out what was what. There were things in there that just weren't in the description. Which would've been fine if it was good but most of it wasn't. I've ordered fro here a few times and it's always some version of ok. This time it was bad. So I guess I'll just give up on this place.

This is my go-to for chinese food. The food is great! They only do take or deliver, and the delivery is really quick, so order and get dressed because it is usually delivered fast. I have had many items on the menu. The General Taos is excellent, and the shrimp egg foo young is out of this world. The only item I'm not fond of is the honey chicken, but "Hey, you can't have everything ".

As far as neighborhood Chinese joints go this one is my favorite. Although I haven't taken advantage of it yet I love their little takeout window situation. How cool to just roll up and grab an egg roll for the road. When I get delivery it is always fast and hot. I love their general tso, friend rice, and shrimp lo mein. As you can see I've never tried anything too exotic here but the basic Chinese corner store fare is delicious and I'm a loyal customer!

I wanted to soo badly give this place a big old 5!I ordered, Hot and Sour soup ... and wait for it.Pork Lo Mien !The soup is always a tell to me and Lo Mien is a simple dish that you either make to impress or knock it out.The soup had plenty of button mushrooms and tofu!Very nice but ...Hot it was not (it wasn't cold) it was lacking pepper .As for the Lo Mien ...An abondance of pork! Actually had bean sprouts in it!A few Chinese mushrooms would have made it so much better.Noticeable lack of anything green.A snow pea (sliced or whole would have been a treat).A little green onion in either would have put it over the top for me.I do have one question ...Doesn't any place use fresh garlic and ginger, anymore?With that being said, it is probably the best neighborhood restaurant in a 5 mile radius.

We tried New China for the first time tonight, and holy smokes, it's incredible! Where have you been?! We've been looking for a solid Chinese restaurant in Port Richmond for a couple years now, and New China is going to be our go to from now on!We ordered the veggie mei fun, veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein and the fried veggie dumplings. All were fantastic. The veggies in each dish were cooked perfectly and very fresh. The dumplings were particularly great, and made in a way I've never quite had before. One tip, I'd recommend calling the restaurant directly to order. We had trouble with ordering online, as the secondary ordering service didn't notify the restaurant. As soon as we called New China though, they were very apologetic and quickly got our food to us. Very nice service, even though it wasn't their fault. Excited to order again! Five stars in every way
