Neon Boots Dancehall and Saloon

Awesome inexpensive place to dance & karaoke! I came Thursday night when they have line dancing lessons and it's country themed (I think). It was actually pretty crowded and parking was a little challenging. I loved the energy! The lesson was at a good pace for me who is ok at dancing (If you aren't coordinated, the lesson may be too fast paced). After the lessons, they have open line dancing and the regulars know the dance to each song. As a newbie, it was intimidating to see how everyone seemed to know the moves to each song - I'd jump in sometimes and not figure out the steps until the very end of the song. FYI, the music can be loud - if you become a regular, I'd definitely recommend getting earplugs. They have a separate room for public karaoke - luckily, not many people were there when I went so we were able to get in plenty of songs! They have free popcorn, $1 jello shots (I think), complimentary water.I definitely want to come back for the free dancing + karaoke opportunities. The atmosphere is very inviting and chill!

Online/social media they seem to post pictures of t crowded on weekends and that it's a great place to go. While drinks are cheap for Houston, when I went, we still paid a 5 dollar cover charge for an almost empty space on a Saturday night. The crowd was also very weird (people sucked each others fingers while dancing) and the dance floor was almost empty the whole time. If looking for a good dancehall vibe in Houston I would look somewhere else. Also had a one stall bathroom for women and a male bathroom with no door

We've been coming here on Friday nights each week, and let me tell you we fell in love with the place. The music is great, they have two rooms one is karaoke and one is for dancing. Friday nights is Latin night and also gay night. It's straight country nights the rest of the week; they even have line dancing lessons I believe in Thursday's.

Love love love the vibes here and our favorite part is the karaoke room! We had such an amazing DJ and her voice was a blessing to hear! Definitely made us feel like the life of the party! I will for sure be coming back when I am in town!

Love the vibes! Nice people and bartenders are friendly, recommend good drinks. Owner is so welcoming and fun . I recommend the karaoke section so much fun people! We'll definitely be coming back soon.

The bartenders have NO sense of urgency. The music was also a miss for me. There was nothing about it that said "Hey there cowboy! Do you wanna two step?" The drinks were a little weak as well.

Dust off those cowboy boots grab your hat and make it over to Neon Boots it's a big beautiful dance hall and saloon tomorrow night and every Tuesday night they have line dance lessons.Thursday they have country dance lessons Friday they have Latin dance lessons!!If you don't like to dance, then come karaoke if you don't like that either just come and drink they got plenty of booze. There's a beautiful back patio believe it or not. It's very pleasant in the evening there's a light breeze out there and one could actually call it cool!!And if you're lucky, the owner, DebbieMight even ask you to dance !

They charged me for 9 tables when I only received 2. I've been contacting them for a refund but they have continuously ignored me.
