I have walked by here so many times and didn't stop in until recently. What a surprise! The prices are reasonable, the salads and sides all look great. I wasn't too hungry, but had to have something light, so I had a falafel pita. The guy at the counter was incredibly helpful and offered to add a side into the pita if I wanted, so I added the chickpeas. Like all the other food options in Durham, my pita did not disappoint! It was a generous size for less than $6, with some nice touches like cilantro and pickled cabbage. I wish I had known about this place sooner, I would have stopped in more often. If I lived here, I would come here for lunch regularly. The ordering is a little confusing, at least if you're going to get it to go.

Good healthy options, lots of seating. Chicken was a little dry unfortunately but I went after lunch so it may have been sitting around a bit. Dips and falafel were good.

I came here for dinner with a friend yesterday evening. After standing in line for a few minutes, my friend went in front of me to order first. I walked up after her, and the staff proceeded to take the order of the next guest behind me. It was slightly irritating. The girl working said, I thought he helped you already? Unfortunately I think communication is lacking between employees. When they finally did take my order, the person checking me out couldn't find it anywhere to ring me up. He had to go back and run over to kitchen side to check. I waited for a good 20 minutes for my food while my friend already had hers. When they did bring it out, I had no silverware and had to go back in and find some. The food was great, but I wouldn't be inclined to come back unless the service improved.

I was craving Mediterranean and this place was right on the money! Everything is priced very reasonably and the food was extremely authentic! There is a wide variety of sides to choose from and a full dessert case for after the meal. When I arrived there was a long line, but it moved quickly, so don't let that deter you from eating here. Even though this is not a restaurant where you are served at your table, one of the employees was extremely friendly and did come around a couple of times to make sure everything was ok.

What can I say about Neomonde other than the worst customer service I've ever had. We came at 6:45, and waited 30 min for food. This is a fast casual restaurant, not a sit down and order place. Once the food arrived, I got a lukewarm falafel sandwich. My partner ordered a side of ratatouille, but instead of telling her they were out, they replaced it with green beans without asking her. I attempted to speak with the manager about our long wait and incorrect order. She said they were busy due to the "dinner rush." We had 4 people in front of us in line. I attached a picture of the dining room when we got our food. Sure seems like a dinner rush. I asked for a refund, and instead of comping the meal for poor service, she started taking the food back. When I asked why, she said it's either a refund or the food. After waiting for 30 min, I wasn't going to wait any longer, but in hindsight I should have taken the refund. To top it off, the manager cussed me out as we were walking out. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Skip Neomonde Durham.I also want to say that with this review, it may seem like I'm a Karen. But check out the other poor reviews that all mention the same thing. Poor customer service and long wait times for food.

Located downtown Durham, def an easy access if you are in the area. Because I live in chapel hill and we have med deli, I think I have a higher standards for Mediterranean food. I think this place is okay. Wish the pita bread was warmed up. I do like the hummus I got from here. Price was reasonable. Not much service since it was designed like fast food order style. A lot of seats indoor and outdoor. I think everything was just an okay!

Good for option for people of varying diets. There are great options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. There is something to be desired customer service wise but i assume the location is understaffed.

Very sad experience! People waiting in line to pay, People at the restaurant holding their number trying to get the staff's attention who were carefully avoiding eye contact. The poor overwork staff were just trying to survive and running around filling online orders completely ignoring business in front of them. Our question: where was the management?? We had to leave as it didn't look we were likely to be served. It is always sad to see staff paying the price for poor management! I know the food is good but couldn't get any!!???

On my way to the airport and stopped here. The vibe is so relaxing. I enjoyed their Pita Pockets, Chicken Shawarma. Wonderful sandwich, perfect size and great flavors. Everything looked so good and the gentleman who took my order took the time to explain everything to me. Definitely worth checking out.
