Fresh and delicious oysters! We enjoy them in their patio with three wonderful sauces. Halibut ceviche is tasty and the sour/spicy is so good with creamy fresh halibut. The brunch toast with salted salmon is good and huge. Line can be long but the service is fast. There are lots of available parking space.

This New England girl loves her seafood and it's what I miss most living out here in the desert. But then I found Nelson's!I will admit that it is pricey, but that's because it is the freshest and best seafood available and of course, it costs $$$ to get it here. Anyone who knows me knows that I can be, well let's be honest, I can be cheap. But I am willing to pay for seafood this fresh and delicious. And I don't do it every day, but IMO, it's worth it. Service is also top notch! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. And if you have any questions about what you're buying, they are more than happy to offer tips, suggestions, recipes - anything you need. Nelson's has become my go-to for ingredients for our Christmas dinner. If you're looking for something special, this is the place!

We have been fans of Nelson's fish for years! Always super fresh, the service is always awesome! We have Never tried the steak but this too always looks great. So last time in, a few days ago at the Scottsdale location, my wife picked up a Giant ribeye along with our usual fish. We were super excited to try it and cooked it that night on the Traeger to a perfect medium rare. Expecting a super tender first bite, we were both extremely disappointed! The steak was tough and super chewy! There was a gristle line running through it as well. For 75 bucks, this should have been high end restaurant quality! In a restaurant, I would have sent it back. Not sure if we just picked the wrong package? But with that price point, there shouldn't be any question!? We will be sticking to the fish from now on.

I bought some swordfish. It was absolutely the best I have ever had. I live in Chandler and it is worth the drive to get good seafood at Nelson's

We've now happily restocked at Nelson's with the most fresh, highest quality fish we've ever found here in AZ. The staff is incredibly skilled and also knowledgeable about grilling/cooking methods for every single item they offer. Upon request they'll remove skins, slice for portions, etc. This visit we purchased fillets:-monkfish (membrane removed! Very important and not easy if you've tried it), -yellowtail -(FL) grouper, and-Faroe Islands salmon (by far the best we've ever experienced!)We also purchased a fresh (whole, but cleaned of course) Branzino ('baby' sea bass). Last time here we tried it for the first time. Repeat customers!We like experimenting with new meals too and our excellent staff member suggested Hamachi, so we purchased two (yellowtail collars) and he advised us how to prepare it: grilled (or broiled) to get caramelization, with a ponzu and thin soy with lemon juice dipping sauce. Amazing and a must-do again. Shop there early any day for the best selection because they carry only the freshest inventory; it's often depleted by day's end. Don't miss getting their house-made bread too!

Incredible service, knowledgeable, staff, or professional, friendly, and know how to prepare everything they sell.The fish is incredibly fresh! I haven't tried any of the meat products yet, but they look beautiful. The salmon, Poké ball is to die for! Everything is made with such care, and it is truly a treasure for our community!
