Neca’s Mason

Neca's is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious. The service is the best we have had in any restaurant. The staff comes around frequently to see if we need anything. We love the ambiance, too. They have entertainment at certain times.

How is this place not rated on Yelp yet? It didn't even exist on Yelp! I had to personally add it. Delicious food and superb service! The atmosphere is decorated well with a Latin theme. They have booth seating, table and chair seating plus a nice bar area. My friends raved about this place, so today, I was fortunate to tag along. What a gem! They serve warm red salsa and cool green salsa with the chips. I loved both! I ordered a sweet tea, and let me tell you, that was the best sweet tea I've had in a long time! They have breakfast until 12:00 pm (Sundays, at least) and it looked tasty. I ordered the tacos al carbon. The beef was tender and seasoned exceptionally well. The rice and beans were also terrific. I think we had 4 people helping us the whole time, even though they were clearly very busy. Attention to detail in food presentation, fabulous service, excellent food and a great energy makes this a new favorite! Go already! You won't be sorry!

Great chilaquiles for breakfast and for dinner the shrimp cocktail is as good or better than Goode Company Seafoods campechana! And the Italian margarita has me switched!!!

Lunch specials!! We were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes of our meals.This is the first restaurant we've been to that offers three choices for rice. Mexican, Cilantro, and Habanero. We each had enough food left over for another meal. Jorge was a great waiter, too.

This is my favorite go to for quesabirria tacos. This last visit we had a concern because there was minimal meat in my husband's tacos. They took it and replaced all 3 tacos. The service is always on point and the restaurant is family friendly. We plan to go back and have done so time and time again.

Wouldn't honor the kids eat free because one adult meal was ordered to-go even though there were two adults, 2 meals ordered and ate at restaurant.

Food is very good. Try the Carne Asada. The rest of the items are also good. Service is very attentive and fast. It's a busy restaurant for sure. Glad they survived the Covid era.

Neca's Mason came highly recommended by my niece. We were a table of 8. Service was efficient and friendly. The chips and both salsas were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had a combination plate that included a queso puff, cheese enchilada, rice, taco and chara beans. All tasted so good, especially those chara beans! I now recommend that you go and enjoy the food and drinks at Neca's Mason.

We were attracted to the special for children to have a complimentary meal and always wanted to try this Mexican restaurant. What a pleasant surprise from the moment we walk in. We were promptly seated, chips and two tasty salsa (which were refilled often throughout our meal) and our drink order was taken ! The margaritas were one of the best ones I've had...along with the happy hour price! Good variety of entrees which were all outstanding!

Great staff, good margarita. The food is pretty classic Katy TxMex.Music on weekends which wasn't overwhelmingly loud.
