Naz's Halal Food - Middletown

Naz's is our go-to for ordering in nights. It's always amazing food with fast delivery and ready times. We love the white sauce, and they always throw extra in when we ask. It's our favorite restaurant in Middletown at the moment, we eat there multiple times a month!

Spicy chicken with rice and salad plate--more like tandoori chicken (Indian or Pakistani) rather than Middle Eastern gyro chicken. The rice is not turmeric rice, it's a tan, cumin-scented long grain rice. Salad and white sauce (a garlic mayo rather like ranch without herbs) drizzled over. The red-spiced grilled chicken is somewhat spicy. You can opt for other meats rather than chicken. Gyro wraps are also available.I could have used more sauce (so if you like sauce, ask for extra) but overall, this is a very good value and so much food, I get two meals or more out of it. Fast service. Food is plated in a foil pan with a plastic lid.If you want a healthier lunch or dinner this is a great choice; salad, lean chicken and good flavored rice. If you are low-carb you can exchange the rice for more salad, which is a lettuce with cubed cucumber and tomato. Try it instead of your usual Chinese take-out.

OK, I typically don't review chains restaurants. But Naz's Halal Food deserves some recognition. The food is very flavorful, and the portions were generous. For this location, the staff was friendly and helpful. Although they do have dine-in tables, I would recommend take out as the dine-in facility is very minimal. Vegetarian options are on their menu, and so are some burgers and sandwiches as well. They add an unique flavor to MOT dining options.

Good falafel over rice with salad.. the fries were also good to be paired with. Definitely will visit again

Excellent service and Really Good Food that's a great combination and Naz's Halal Food has that . First time there I really enjoyed the food the combination plate with choice of meats and sauces is the best I made it keto friendly and low carb . Ambiance was a retro funky vibe on the walls very nice . Check this place out

I was in the area and love Halal. Being as there aren't many places who serve good Halal in my area, I had to give it a try for lunch. It is in a strip mall and the atmosphere is pretty much what you would expect from that type of location. I was greeted immediately by a very friendly counter person and ordered the build your own. Platter which is a choice of chicken, fish, lamb, falafel, combo or kafta. Served with white sauce, hot sauce, green sauce or BBQ. I got a small side of the first 3 to see which I liked best. The white sauce was similar to a ranch dressing. The green sauce was my favorite as it had a bright citrus/herb flavor that was excellent. The hot sauce was very flavorful and delicious, but hotter than I prefer so I just tried a bit. The chicken seasoning was outstanding and not over powering. The combo of the chicken with the seasoned basmati was delicious and compares with Halal I had when traveling in middle east. As a side I ordered pita with hummus. The pita was made fresh and was on point!! The hummus looked as if it had been sitting in the serving container and started to separate a bit and was not as creamy as it should be but a bit grainy. The flavor was good, not great. Overall, I think the amount of food you get and the flavor profiles make this a place I would definitely return to and recommend anyone with a taste of things not typical American to try. They also serve sandwiches, gyros and Wings. So if you are the only person wanting halal, there are other options.
