What a poor experience... I think the bruschetta is the only thing I can leave a positive review about. As a medical marijuana patient, I'm not biased.... But holy ****. One of the most awkward interactions I've ever had. $27 shrimp scampi sets the expectation pretty high; it reminded me of the butter and noodles my mom used to microwaves for me when I was a child. This is not a compliment. Seasoned poorly. Lukewarm. Dirty plates. Flat soda. Dirty bathroom, no soap... I hate leaving negative reviews but I had to vent about such a weird and unappealing experience. I wouldn't come back for free lunch lol

You can see everything being prepared as you enter to place your order before being seated. Check out the menu before you get there to speed things up. We had meatballs and sauce, pizza, lasagna and salads at our table. Very traditional meatballs and sauce. Pizza oven was the bomb and produced a thin soft crust that was easy to fold. Salads extremely fresh. Enjoy!!!

We have given this place another try after our first experience... I didn't write a review because we didn't even eat here the first time so the review would've been unfair. We sat down for 20 min and didn't even get water, so we walked out. This time, we stayed... service was bad, the server (only one) had her long hair down and was flipping her hair over the food as serving it. We ordered the bread loaf and it was literally two pieces of ciabatta bread (the same ciabatta we bought at Costco two days before). My husband got the pesto pasta and it literally had zero flavor. I got the pork loin, it was ok.. the best of all the meals. My daughter got the spaghetti Alfredo with a side of chicken. It was flavorless and the chicken was questionable if it was cooked! We were so sad because we were really looking forward to a good Italian place that was local!

Went to Trattoria La Caverna while visiting family. This restaurant is small, quaint and wonderful. The staff were very attentive and all the food was amazing. The arancini was better than I had in Italy. The Pesto Tortellini was cooked perfectly. They served the Chocolate Torte for my grandson's birthday and I would recommend it to everyone. Hope you stop in and see Tamara and her team.

We came in and were seated promptly at 5 PM weekday night. Service was attentive and prompt. We didn't try any drinks. We started with a salad and bread. Entrees come with salad. You must pay for bread. The small bread serving will give you one very small piece of bread. The side salad is a spring mix or Caesar but again very small portion. I got the chicken Parmesan, which is good but very small portion. My wife got spaghetti. I thought everything was extremely expensive. A small serving of bread is $4. Chicken Parmesan was $18. Pasta and meatballs is $19. Ambience is fairly casual with bare concrete floors and a lot of artsy graffiti on the walls and restroom.

Tori is awesome! We had a great experience. My wife had Shrimp Scampi which she loved. The meatballs were delicious and the Balsamic dinner salad was great. Finished dinner off with a decadent Flourless chocolate torte. Can't wait to return!! Found a new place for the future. Thanks Tori!!

I live in the Northeast of the United States where exceptional Italian food is ubiquitous. I don't ever walk into an Italian restaurant outside of the Northeast with expectations. Well, Trattoria La Caverna has changed how I will look at Italian restaurants forevermore. From the minute you walk in until you leave, you are treated like family. Each course that came out was delivered and executed perfectly. The olive oils, the sauces, the wines, and the pastas were all perfectly chosen and perfectly cooked. Me and my family smiled the entire time we dined at Trattoria. I hope to return to TN soon and visit this now family favorite spot!

Trattoria La Caverna as it is now known. Same people different chef 3rd review 3rd change. This one is second best. The bread and croutons were the negatives. Cold loaf bread and stale croutons. The mozzarella sticks seemed homemade but needed some herbs or something in the batter. The salad with raspberry vinaigrette was fresh and good. To the star. The cavatapopi Cassie a butter cream sauce with basil and macaroni type noodles with parmesan. This was a little heavy but delicious. Get a different app and hopefully they start grilling and or toasting the bread and get new croutons and bam 4.5 stars. A Caesar salad with shaved parmesan would be great. And shredded lettuce. Oh the chocolate torte was great but you have to like a slightly bitter sweet dark chocolate.

First time going. Everything from beginning to end was perfect. The staff was amazing. The food was out of this world. Each dish is made in house. Sauce, etc. Very good. I'm pretty sure we have found our new favorite Italian spot.

Stopped in for a Saturday evening dinner with friends and it was great! This was our first visit and we loved the fried ravioli appetizer to start. The pastas were all really good. Service was excellent. All around great experience!
