The Cupcake Collection

My trip to Nashville was planned way before I even knew or heard of the Cupcake Collection started by Mignon Francois. I just so happen to stumble across Mignon doing an interview promoting her new book. I was completely blown away by her story. I became intrigued and started seeking out every platform she was on to hear more about Mignon's life story. I immediately went to Amazon to order her book but sadly they were all sold out. Faith had it that I was already going to Nashville so what better than to go straight to the source and the ORIGINAL location of the Cupcake Collection. The purple house with the red door. It felt warm and inviting. Faith had me again, Mignon Francois's book was sold out on Amazon but not at her shop. She had about a half dozen SIGNED books ready for purchase. Not only did I get myself a signed copy but a six pack of her famous cupcakes. Yes, they were YAM good! GOD is so good.

So happy to have The Cupcake Collection in Hendersonville! Love their sweet potato cupcake and the cafe mocha was a standout flavor as well! Rich chocolate cupcake topped with coffee flavored icing...YUM! Easy online ordering ensures they won't sell out of the flavor you want. I really appreciated that the woman who prepared my order also thought to separate the cupcakes containing nuts (carrot cake has walnut and cafe au lait has almond) from those that were nut-free. They also offer gluten free and vegan options! Interior is basic, as it's set up for to-go orders. No seating inside. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the products and allergens. Plenty of parking in the large lot out front.

5 star all the way. Just had 2 on a Monday night and they were so fresh. I live that they put out special flavors. My favorite dessert spot in town. Service was so friendly and sweet!

The cupcakes were good. I order a 6 pack and was shocked by the price. The prices could be justified if the cupcakes were large. But they are teeny tiny.

Ordered a four pack of different flavors of cupcakes. They were all very dry, and the flavors taste very artificial and frostings.

I've been supporting The Cupcake Collection for many years. I've had them at tenants events and bought them just because I needed a pick-me-up. I'm so glad they have expanded to Hendersonville. Today was my first visit at this location. The young lady behind the counter was very sweet. I was even very complimentary to the couple in the store trying to decided what to get. On a sad note, I do have to say I understand Vicki O.'s comment. My strawberry cupcake crumbled in my hand because it was so dry. I know this has never been the case in the past, so maybe something was missed. It still tasted great, so I stand by my 5 stars for this review. :)

Oh my goodness!! I'm in big trouble now! I stopped in here tonight after typing in bakery in my gps. Apparently, they've only been open four weeks. I got the sweet lemonade cupcake. It has got to be one of the best lemon cupcakes I've ever had! This was some serious lemon flavor! As soon as I bit down on the cupcake in my car, I almost ran back in to grab another flavor-I was dying to know if they're all that good! And, the service was exceptional as well. I highly recommended this spot to any cake lovers.
