The Bar-B-Que Place

Great spot in White House and one of the few open on Monday. The restaurant has ample parking, seating, and also a drive-through. We came for lunch and we're seated right away. The restaurant is clean and very comfortable. Our server was friendly and attentive. I had the loaded potato with brisket and my husband had the 1/2 rack of ribs with fries and cornbread. Everything was cooked perfectly with great flavor. The table had two versions of sauce, mild and hot and both were delicious.

If you haven't tried this place yet you're missing out on great food and excellent service.

Service was pleasant but not well informed. Food was underwhelming. They couldn't do a rare or even medium rare hamburger steak. They couldn't do brisket with fat in it ("moist" vs dry).The smoked chicken was tiny, and very dry.Potatoes were good. Appetizer cheese fingers were quite good.Not worth the money.

We love this place. Friends and I have always enjoyed our meals from here. Great wings, pulled pork and brisket.

Everything on the menu is good! We love the loaded baked potatoes. They're as big as stinkin football! Fried green tomatoes are great too!

We've heard from a couple people that this was the best BBQ in WH, but kept forgetting since it's a bit tucked away. So glad we finally got to try it, because this is our favorite local BBQ now!What you need to try:Ribs - So tender and moist, the bones just fell off!Pulled Pork - Flavorful and comes w a good sauceGreen Beans & Coleslaw (mayo based)What you can pass on:Mac & Cheese - very watery and blandCornbread - it's actually hoecakes. Cornbread is king over Hoecakes!Lastly, their service was just lovely! It's always the cherry on top to have great staff on top of great food! Oh the pricing is fair too! The only downside was that they didn't include our buns for the pulled pork... not a biggie but def double check on your orders. Definitely try this place if you haven't already, it's better than Meat Sweats and Perry's.

The pork ribs here hit that holy perfection of being truly fall of the bone tender which is a thing of beauty. Unfortunately for me, the ribs were waaaaaaaaayyy too sweet without putting any extra sauce on them at all. It's overpowering with the sweetness which may be other people's thing but wasn't for me. The collard greens as a side had good flavor but were soupy. Super clean restaurant with a cute set up and nice staff. The tenderness of the ribs is what really makes this a four since the sweetness might be more a personal pref.

I recently was invited to lunch at The Barbecue Place. I was instantly put off because I don't like bbq. when we pulled up, I was quite surprised to find a cute restaurant that was clean. we were promptly seated , given menus and had our drink orders taken. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries. it was delicious. our server, Cali, was attentive, polite and prompt . she made our lunch time enjoyable.so get on over there and have a great experience like I did

We went through the drive through and were overcharged. They refunded me the amount minus the tax. The manager said I was "silly" so I canceled my order and wanted a full refund. He then belittled me and told me to go buy some fake food for my grandson. Why not just apologize, give me the correct amount back and fulfill my order? This is not my first bad encounter with this person. Too bad there are only 2 BBQ restaurants in White House, TN!
