They asked if I could handle Carolina Reaper. It was hot, too hot for 90% of us white people, but right at the highest level that isn't too uncomfortable for my tolerance. My burps smelled like pure pepper all day and my stomach was burning slightly but not too bad.The chicken was juicy but the 1 star off is that it was too salty, including the fries. But that's what most us American's are used to. Coleslaw was standard slaw, nothing to write home about. I guess it's because I don't eat fast food multiple times a week or dump a bunch of salt on my food when I cook I'm not used to all that salt. For me it was close to being too salty to finish my food before I was full.

Located in the Assembly Food Hall is this gem when you first walk in. My husband and I ordered through the app and the wait was about 10-15 mins. Food was amazing! We ordered the wing combo with fries and coleslaw and potato salad on the side. In my husband's opinion, he liked this better than Hattie B's but I think they were pretty equal. Nevertheless, we were very much satisfied with our food and this place should be added to your list of places to eat in Nashville. There's plenty of seating in the food hall and you can get your food faster if you order through the app and avoid the long line.

Prince's Hot Chicken in the Nashville Food Hall didn't quite live up to its legendary hype. My friend and I were glad we only ordered one serving to share, as the hot chicken lacked the bold flavor we expected. While the fries were fresh and tasty, they couldn't make up for the disappointing main dish. The bustling food hall offers a variety of other tempting options, which might be worth exploring instead. Despite the friendly service, the overall experience fell short of our expectations. If you're craving hot chicken, you might want to consider other spots in Nashville that better capture the city's renowned spicy delight.

The shack is in a food court. It's not the best place to sit down and eat a meal, not the best atmosphere. My expectations were lowered because of that. The menu is smaller than the brick and mortar restaurant. The staff was kind but do expect a little bit of a wait here. The chicken was great still. Not as good as the restaurant, but still solid. I would recommend going to the brick and mortar store if you can. If not, this will suffice.

In town for the weekend and was recommended by locals. Wasn't able to make it to the original, but location had just tenders and this chicken was delicious. Like it spicy and this didn't disappoint!

Worth every bit of hype, do yourself a favor and come here instead of waiting in the hour long line of Hattie B's. The "Mild" even has some kick so be careful. Would be 5 stars but the fries could certainly be improved greatly.

I went to the downtown location in the Assembly Food Hall. Got the 4 tender meal with fries in mild. The tenders were generous size and crispy. Perfect level of heat for myself where there's a little lingering that keeps you coming back. The fries were absolutely delicious. Seasoned very well and super crispy.

Brand new location in downtown Nashville, located in the Food Hall across from the Arena and behind the Apple store. The chicken has a good flavor and the hot sauce is ... wait for it ... hot. The hot isn't a burning, hurting, hot ...its a good flavor hot and really gets your taste buds into overload. Stop in at this new location.

Best hot chicken of all the original Nashville fried chicken joints. I'm sure others are great as well but try the OG

Most authentic hot chicken in the world. Great attention to detail... I love the ranch packets that squirt out in a tiny stream, perfect for drizzling. Go here. Get the "Hot." Don't go to soulless Hattie B's.
