Really cute store front. The workers all had a great attitude and were very helpful. The merch is SO CUTE. And they have a flower stand with the most beautiful arrangements provided by a local farm. Lattes were delicious & the coffee cake is great.

GREAT place! Finally getting around to making a review! I visited back in early December from Wisconsin while visiting my brother. The shop was so cozy and warm. We sat outside on the patio and had a nice view of the courthouse building. The girl working the register, I think her name was Christian or Christina, was FANTASTIC! She was so helpful walking us through the yummy holiday menu and pastries. I ended up choosing the apple cider and an apple muffin. Thanks Christian (or Christina) for the help and awesome customer service. She was a blessing!I believe a girl named Alison made our drinks. They were amazing!! Thank you! 10/10Will definitely be back next time I'm visiting!

Muletown Coffee Roasters is a warm and lively coffee shop with a vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great spot in the heart of Downtown. The branding and aesthetics embrace the history and feel of small town Columbia. My first experience a few weeks ago did not have me convinced I'd be a frequenter. My wife and I had ordered a seasonal beverage (s'mores I believe) with oat milk. Personally we did not care for the flavor at all especially for the price we paid. Upon glancing behind the counter, I noticed it was most likely due to the brand that they use for oat milk (Califia) which does not pair very well with coffee in my opinion. That said, I wanted to give the shop another chance and agreed to a coffee meeting there recently with a local pastor. This time, I purposed to order a drink without any substitutions to give them a fair shake. I chose the seasonal eggnog latte (a beloved Christmas tradition for me) and I must say, it may very well be the best I've ever had. The kind and inviting staff delivered a rich and creamy drink with a savory bitter aftertaste. I am already looking for excuses to go back and order one again. Overall, I'm so glad to have revisited this spot and now hope to do it again soon. Muletown is beginning to win me over as perhaps one of my favorite coffee shops in Columbia.

This place is great! Staff is kind with superb recommendations (because the coffee is so good)!As far as the beans, I only tried the Kenya Single origin. Amazing job. Flavor profile is really deep. It's almost like it expands my jaw/salivary glands more fully. Juicy apple almost indistinguishably with/to honey and a full deep apricot. Nothing goes too far into fruit though. It's so flavorful my mouth almost expects to water like I'm taking a bite of fruit. It's great! I am sitting here drinking a black coffee like it's water almost, or maybe like a sweet tea (?), but that's too sweet. It's hard to describe because it's such a wonderful cup. You have to try this for yourself and see where it takes you. Highly recommended. Most memorable cup of drip coffee on record, or at least for the last few years at a shop I bought a bag for home and I'll definitely be back. Not sure if they'll pull shots with it but I might see how that goes in an americano or just straight up. Oh... and they have lots of cool treats here like coffee, pelegrino, various specialty sodas, kombucha, and a bunch of baked goods: scones, muffins and a ton of other items too. I'm a latte person, and they do a good job at that. So far, this is my favorite coffee place in Columbia. The new location and ambiance is great. The baristas are super friendly. Bean and coffee flavor is a 4/5 to me. Always enjoy coming here, but latte pricing is a little bit on the high side.

You cannot beat the location for starters, and the vibe of the place is very family and conversation friendly. The staff are friendly and take pride in this establishment and are always polite. The food is great although that's not where this place shines. The coffee itself, the vibe and the presentation of their brand makes this a great place to get coffee and hang out for a while.

As cool as the place is, we are not impressed. The food is okay but the cleanliness of this place is disgusting. You can tell they don't clean because we came in at 1:35pm and there were crumbs everywhere and dead flies. Also, when my wife asked for honey for her tea, the attitude the guy with long hair gave her was SO unprofessional. You can tell they only care about talking to their own team people than customers. I would rate this place on customer service as a -1 but I can't. Don't waste your time unless you want just drip coffee or lattes. Do better on customer service and being clean. Your place is cool but attitudes towards a woman (my wife) asking for honey to make her tea how she wants it like most places offer. Also again clean up in between the rush and be better with customer experience.

Love the cool vibe. My cold brew is delicious. They have lots of seating, tables, and they have cool merch as well. Service was great our barista was very kind.

Ordered blended mochas with pump of caramel and it was amazing. Ordered three regular blended mochas as well and they were terrific too. Just traveled for 24 days and tried coffee in every city and this was by far the favorite. Service was terrific.
