We visited Lyra again, unknowingly having many of the same things we had last time: the jalapeño hummus, the cauliflower salad, the fatayer, the market steak. So you can see my first review for details. The food was still wonderful and consistent. This time we added the beet salad, made with roasted beets, lemon labneh, cress, dry mint, and sumac, which was tangy and tasty.I really want to try the mushroom kabob, made with chickpea marinade, roasted pepper puree, and pickled turnips, but they were out the evening we visited. Maybe next time I can have a mushroom smorgasbord with that, while adding the smoked mushroom soccer, with kashkavel cheese, charred green onion vinaigrette, and baby kale. Next meat dish on my radar is that sumac fried chicken with pickle salad and the seared mahi. I think I've had enough of the steak.Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were on point. It wasn't as quiet or intimate as the first time we went. A lot more people there, and it was a lot louder because of the acoustics/tall ceilings. But we were sat immediately. It was easy to get a reservation at our preferred time. Our server, Jed, took care of us, though there was some delay because of how busy it was.Still a solid Nashville pick that I would go to again and take friends to.

Service was great and the cocktails were good too. Hummus was excellent served with fresh warm pita bread. The Feta was god with the cucumbers as well. As for the mushroom skewers the trumpet mushrooms were a little woody due to the size and not easy to chew. My wife had the steak and for a hand cut NY Strip it was a bit grist-lie. I had the grilled octopus and though cooked properly (not chewy) it was a bit to salty even for my taste. It was the service that made it a 4 star instead of 3.

FIRE FOOD. FIRE STAFF. FIRE WOODFIRED OVEN. Lyra has my heart. It's so nice to have a Levantine restaurant in the neighborhood! I love that they pull influence from the whole region, which has introduced me to so many new foods. Their staff are kind, funny, and attentive. Plus, they have a stellar happy hour.

Great food. Great hummus - get the collective so you can try them all. The pita comes so nice and warm. Their pistachio whipped feta was also excellent. All our drinks were made perfectly. Their grilled asparagus was delicious and definitely worth trying. Servers were well informed and gave great suggestions. The ambiance is nice. Great for a date night or evening with family.

Lyra in East Nashville is an absolute gem! The patio is perfection--spacious, beautiful, and just the right vibe for a relaxing dinner or drinks. The food is next-level, with every dish packed with incredible flavors and creativity. It's obvious the chefs put their heart into what they serve. And the service? Top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and really makes you feel taken care of. Personally, I love their happy hour on weekdays--it's the perfect spot to unwind with girlfriends. Whether you're popping in for brunch, dinner, or drinks, Lyra nails it every time. I can't recommend it enough!

We had a great dining experience at Lyra. Lyra serves modern middle-eastern food in a relaxed atmosphere. Easy to come here for a gathering or a quick bite before going elsewhere. All the dishes were delicious. What stands out is their service. We made a reservtion and listed an allergy. Not only was the server aware fo the allergy, a menu had been prepared that listed the foods that were possibly problematic. This was especially helpful as we ordered serveral courses and knew which foods were concerns. Thank you.

I was in town and my friend recommended Lyra - such a treat! This tapas-style place has a lovely patio so definitely try to sit outside! We enjoyed great white wine (a nice list!), as well as the Whipped Feta and Babaganoush to start. Both were wonderful but the standout was the olives in walnut and pomegranate molasses! Delicious and unique! We both enjoyed the market fish and the lamb - great and complex flavors. Orange Almond Cake was the perfect ending. Service was slow but that was the only downside.

Great meal here for 5. Everything was incredibly fresh. The hummus was smooth and creamy, not tough. The cauliflower salad was ok. The crisp bread with the oven baked feta wasn't my favorite but I loved the large pita bread with the hummus. That was chewy and soft to tear. Halloumi was one of my favs. Desserts were terrific. The white sesame seeds with the pistachio ice cream sandwich were new and exciting. The brownie was different and tasty.

What a gem Lyra is. The best middle eastern food in the city and that's nowhere near hyperbole. The ambience is warm and inviting, the food and drinks are unique and the server's are just wonderful. All dishes are meant to be shared so when the food is ready it's brought out immediately. They have a special fig and feta dip that was otherworldly. So go soon and try it before it's off the menu. Your life will be changed! Make a reservation too so you can ensure you have a spot to enjoy this wonderful eatery.
