I just ate here with the family and it was easily the worst Mexican restaurant I've been to in years. It is loud. You have to yell at the person sitting across from you. If the food was great, this really wouldn't be a big issue. Ordered guacamole, it was pretty flavorless. Had to ask for limes and salt to give it some flavor. Pretty much had to make it myself. I ordered 1 of each of the 3 street tacos. The chicken taco tasted like straight up boiled chicken smothered in a red sauce. It was not a good taco but it wasn't horrible. The Al Pastor taco was good. Flavors and salsa worked well together. I wouldn't be mad if I ate this again. The beef taco was bits of what looked like a boiled meat. It tasted rancid. My son didn't believe me and I was like "he's gonna learn today" and I let him take a bite. He spit it out and chugged water. It took me about 10 minutes to get the taste out of my mouth. It was BAD!! If I ever drive by this place I'd probably speed up a bit and hope the memories of that beef taco don't come back.

I truly do not understand the previous reviews for this restaurant. My husband and I went there for lunch. We were greeted immediately and sat in a nice booth. Our server promptly came with chips and salsa and took our drink order. We ordered a pitcher of the top shelf margarita's, which, although seemed a little expensive in the moment but they were well worth it. There was not a ridiculous amount of ice to melt them down and the pitcher they were served in was designed to help you pour it without making a mess. The menu itself has a unique quality, allowing you to pretty much build the Mexican meal that you wanted by giving you options to put whatever protein or non-proteins in the bowls, the enchiladas, the tacos, the fajitas, etc. we took our time and ordered the guacamole dip which tasted very good. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. In the end, my husband opted to build a steak burrito bowl which he finished completely, and said it had a wonderful kick to it. I on the other hand ordered spinach enchiladas off the lunch menu with the option of rice or refried beans. I chose the rice. The spinach was fresh and tasty. The enchiladas were topped with sour cream, lettuce, and tomato. The manager actually came over and checked on us, which was refreshing. Our server was super attentive, and although we did have a little bit of a language barrier, but we worked through it. The restaurant itself was clean, seemed like a remodeled, fast food restaurant from the past, and the bathrooms could've been a little bit cleaner but overall it was a great experience.

So delicious! So we went on taco Tuesday 2.22.22. We had a great time. The server was so polite and attentive. The drinks 1/2 off all margaritas (even specialty ones). Bathrooms were clean. Food came fast, hot and delicious. Overall great Mexican spot.

Food is delicious. Service is prompt but not rushed. Music adds to the ambiance. David is a waiter extraordinaire! What are you waiting for? They often have specials on the food and drinks so it is a real bargain in today's times. Everyone is very welcoming. Today, they were promoting the :"Vote best Mexican restaurant in Nashville" and giving out bags with free gifts inside. I will always vote for Las Palmas.

There are, that I know of three Mexican restaurants in Goodlettsville TN. The Blue Sky, Pancho Villas, and this one. This is my second favorite, only because Pancho Villa has my chicken and rice dish(Pollo Feliz) that I love so much. But Las Palmas has its charms and is very quick on service. When you only have an hour for lunch, getting in, ordering, getting your food and eating it is a chore. As long as you can find a place that will get it to you fast you will have no issues.I've posted a picture of the Lunch special, two tacos with a cheese quesadilla. This place is very reasonably priced to the point you can get out for under $10, a rarity for sit down restaurants nowadays.

So disappointed in my family's most recent experience here. Taste was pretty standard, but the presentation was bad. Fajitas appeared to be cooked but not grilled, and the steak and chicken looked like it was leftover from the night before. We also had to fight fruit fleas for the entire meal. I really that they shape up, as my family and I have been coming here for years and would love to come back when things are better.
