Kat's Bar & Grille

Very comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. It reminds me of a bar my uncle owned in Chicago, and the many sleepy taverns that line NYC streets where I grew up! The Kat A Lac burger is insanely delicious and the Kat's Fries are the best. Bought 2 orders to share with Dave and Leslie, my neighbors.

Just had the best impromptu dinner date with the hubs! DJ Sally was there with some awesome tunes as well as some yummy food! Kat is the sweetest, most caring owner! Wants to make sure her patrons are having a good time and enjoy her food and drinks! Our server was FANTASTIC!!Thank you!!

Local watering hole who keeps up with their customers wants they have karaoke on certain nights, staff is friendly service is always decent the food is average bar food .

For about 8 weeks, me and some friends were at Kat's every week. We loved their trivia night on Thursdays. Caid Smith runs it for Nerdy Talk Trivia, and he is awesome. We had so much fun. Also, every Friday, my husband and 4-5 of his friends would have lunch there after working out. My mom has also spent time with friends at Kat's consistently. So, it's safe to say, we were definitely patrons of this bar. We quit going after Kat and her daughter both showed a side of themselves that made it very clear they didn't care for black people being in their bar. After these instances, we found out about other things that had happened with friends of ours. Turns out, lots of people already knew there were racist vibes. We won't be back until something drastically changes and these issues are addressed.

Pleased to report beer ban has been lifted, and draught beer is flowing. I like the Yuengling draft. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp appetizer. Tasty. Lot of people choosing the wings, and will order next time.I think the hours have been updated, and Yelp hours may be out of date.Will return now that beer is again served. Nice to have a local, not-corporate watering hole.There is a happy hour after 3 pmFacebook only, and no website I can find.

Relaxed atmosphere.....unless BACKLIT is playing. I enjoy Kat's. Not that I don't enjoy Kat's or would not stop in for dinner any other night, but when it's "BACKLIT TIME," ya GOTTA go.

Sitting at the bar for 30 minutes and no one has said a word to me to take my order or anything. Terrible service. Never coming back.

Great beer selection! Nice people. Popular karaoke spot! We've been there several times. You're close to Nashville so the karaoke is better than average in my opinion. Get there early for seating, it can be crowded.

The bartender (black hair, from Hendersonville) was very friendly, which is the best part about the place. Food wasn't bad, but the place does stay kind of empty. The mixed drink we got was weak. I think I'd go to see the band and have a beer or two.

From the atmosphere down to the drinks and the delicious food this cute little bar and Grill is a must do
