Had an amazing experience here tonight. From the hostess to the waiters to the manager- everyone was so kind and attentive. Awesome food all around. Definitely get the buratta to start!

Not worth the cost. Incredibly over priced. The food is mediocre, but it's not worth $25-30 a portion. Host had no clue what social distancing was. Packed us all into the bar and next to the only other couples that were sitting there. Server was great. Everything was lack luster. Won't be back.

This was the worst place I've ever eaten in Nashville. My meal and 1 glass of wine was $60. The lasagna was fine until I pulled a large hair out of it. The gnocchi was bland and the "grilled" chicken was a rubbery, boiled, unseasoned chicken breast. One word to describe Giovanni west- YUCK.

Waaayy tooo expensive. The risotto wasn't done and was watery. took forever for the food. Despite knowing the person I was with, the bartender was snooty and.... this was the icing on the cake for me... He corrected my pronunciation... without me asking. If that isn't a self important clown?? I don't mind if I ask, but I think he clearly wanted to show me up in front of the rest of the table. Proving what exactly?? By the way, be as intolerably snooty as you want, at the end of the day, you're still a server.

Get a new bartender. He was unfriendly, and made me not want to be there. Maybe next time I'll try your restaurant but I'll get a table instead.

Not a good experience. Made reservations and was seated promptly. Then sat for 15 minutes with no menus, no water and no service. Then heard some ruckus in the kitchen and decided not a good night to eat here. So we got up and left.

My husband and I visited Giovanni's for Valentine's Day. They had a special menu for the evening, which seemed promising. It was a nice looking place and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We left feeling disappointed and like they owed us an apology. The Caesar salad was bland, the "roasted" artichoke with crab tasted like it was straight from a can, the spaghetti carbonara was unseasoned and soupy, the NY strip was unseasoned and served with unseasoned boiled shrimp and fried potatoes rather than grilled shrimp with roasted potatoes, and the desserts were terrible. The genoise cake was rubbery and the bread pudding tasted like it had been frozen and microwaved. It was easily the worst Italian food I have eaten Nashville. Their burrata cheese was actually really good and the waitress was wonderful. However, if you're going to call yourself "Nashville's best Italian Restaurant" you need to do better. Don't waste your money on this place, just set $200 on fire. I guarantee you will feel better about that than this meal.

Food is delicious however our server was AWFUL. Drinks were not prepared as ordered and we were charged extra for items we didn't even receive, an additional charge for blue cheese olives that they didn't even have behind the bar... not to mention an extra charge of $3.75 for a martini served up rather than on the rocks. When the staff was asked about it they were rude and dismissive. There was one helpful/ kind waiter who we wish would have been our server rather than helping resolve issues from our actual waiter. Very disappointing considering how great the food is. Would be a 1 star if the food was not as good as it is.

Wonderful ambience. Excellent service. After appetizers, couldn't imagine why it did not get great reviews. The eggplant and artichoke appetizers were just fabulous. But everything after that was why it's 3 stars. Ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons. Did not come out until after entrees and with croutons. Ordered $38 filet which was tough and barely edible. Clearly they start with a budget cut of meat. Again the service and ambience was fantastic - but I just could not believe that in such a nice restaurant, the filet would be worse than what I could have had at LongHorn.
