Came here with my daughter for dinner. I'm such a picky eater but they were so helpful and made my food exactly the way I wanted it. Also, it wasn't too spicy for my 5 yr old and she really liked the Rico Pollo - basically chicken, rice and cheese. I got the Molcajete without peppers (b/c i'm picky) and it was fantastic! It has become our new favorite now that it's under new management because it feels authentic, but it's still easy to communicate with the waitresses. I highly recommend this place and we will be coming back soon!

It took me a while to come back here. I have favorites in town already, and though the place had improved, it hadnt done enough to trump my comfortable hangouts. Since then, things have deteriorated again. The rice and beans were good, but everything else was bland or bad. Menu items offer no description whatsoever, so unless you are fluent you will have no idea what you're getting. The cheese enchilada was especially confusing. What came to me was smothered in green sauce, which was unappetizingly spicy and ruined everything it touched. There are no fountain drinks now, and consequently no refills. Placed in the front of the menu, bizarrely, is an American breakfast menu. Someone strange is at the helm of this restaurant, and they are running it into the ground. Even if you chalk this up to a matter of difference in taste, this restaurant is badly managed. There has only ever been a single server, who I am convinced is family, and she is clearly struggling with the task, unable to take orders quickly and has a habit of forgetting pieces of your order. This odd assortment of questionable food cost about 20 dollars--an exorbitant amount for what I received, and did not come close to finishing. Bottom line: It's not crappy velveeta anymore, but it might as well be. Will not be returning. I feel guilty for this review, because this is obviously a family endeavor, and I have no ill will towards them. I sincerely hope they turn this around and become a thriving business. But as things stand, I only feel like I was ripped off.
