Drug Store Coffee

Really great 3rd wave coffee in downtown. It was nice that they are open until 6pm. Barista was friendly and knowledgeable. I also ate a chocolate croissant.

Modern third wave coffee shop with touches of vintage charm, located in the lobby of Nashville boutique hotel, Noelle. The space is filled with natural light, ample seating, and flat surfaces for working. They serve single origin coffee from local roaster, Sump, and high quality pastries. They also offer a small menu of made to order light fare. I was staying at Noelle, and ended up getting coffee here twice. On my first visit, the Iced Latte was exceptional, with balanced acidity and subtle floral notes. I also loved the Cherry Almond croissant, which had crisp, buttery layers and a delicious fruit jam within. On my next visit, my Cortado was so burnt that I could barely drink it. Perhaps an off day. Regardless, I think this is a good choice over a corporate chain any day.

After eating lunch I was looking for somewhere to kill a couple of hours and drink a coffee while doing it. When I looked up coffee I saw DSC, and decided I'd try it out. I had a little trouble finding it, as you have to enter a nicer restaurant to get to it. However, everything went great once I was inside. I got an iced coffee with almond milk and SF vanilla. It was super smooth, and didn't have that bitter taste I normally get from iced coffee. I felt bad because I had to do two separate transactions, but the staff was more than kind about it. I was able to read for a bit here, and drink a good coffee!

Caramel Macchiato wasn't good at all. No caramel sauce, hardly any ice.... The barista was really friendly though! Coffee tasted burnt. This coffee shop is inside the hotel Noelle and the lobby has restrooms and a water station! Magazines available too.

I got to cross this shop off of my list recently. The coffee was good and the shop had a lot of natural lights and seating. It is inside of a hotel so I was worried it would be packed but it was not this day. I enjoyed my latte and ordered a sandwich to go with it which was good. I took stars off for the fact that the staff spent most of their time on their phones and standing around plus there was a roach crawling around near me.

The iced coffee that was prepared didn't taste good. Most of my drink contained copious amounts of ice cubes, which watered down the drink. The baristas seemed bugged or disinterested, so I didn't feel as welcomed. This was my first coffee experience in TN, so it was quite disappointing.

Great small spot for some high quality coffee. There is also a few pastry items but not really hot sandwiches, etc

Perfect tasting coffee. Good atmosphere for people watching. Friendly service. Recommend!

Coffee was extremely under-par and the employees were immensely rude, The aesthetic of the place isn't great as it is in the lobby of a hotel/office. Will not be returning.
