City Winery Nashville

Went there for the ABBA Fabulous Brunch and it was...FABULOUS! The staff was great and their system to seat everyone is fantastic! We reserved a table in the second row and it was great. Very close to the stage! Neon Queen was fun and mixed in some fun songs with the ABBA songs.Brunch had lots of options and was pretty good. I will say it was a 2-3 star for the wine bottle we selected. It was one of the City Winery Pinot Noir and it was meh! Despite the wine, the venue is great to watch a show and it was a lot of fun! Wish I remembered our servers name because she was a Rockstar!

Wow. What a disappointment all the way around. Service = started really bad and progressed to poor. Food = shrimp was tasteless and rubber, chicken thighs was not edible, the lobster risotto was the best thing of the evening. Wine = boxed wine meets vinegar. Cost = ridiculous. On social media the venue gives off the vibe of being upscale, special and high end....couldn't have been further for what we experienced.

I read quite a few negative reviews before going to City Winery for a concert and dinner and I was hoping that they would be proven wrong. Unfortunately that was not the case. I think the idea of getting to watch a concert while enjoying a meal is great but there are some areas that need work to make this a truly enjoyable experience. The space is great, the stage is close, sound system is good and it has a great ambiance. We saw the CMT listen up show and the performers were so talented! We ordered food, which didn't take too long to come out and was decent. The margarita pizza was ok, nothing too special and the duck tacos were good. After about an hour of waiting we still didn't have the drinks we ordered and we finally grabbed our waitress, she had not checked on us since our food was dropped off, and she said she would check on the drinks. She came back shortly with our drinks, said the computer system messed up, and said she would try and get them taken off the bill. This was appreciated and when the bill came, we were not charged for one of the drinks. The bill was still $60 which felt a bit pricey for one drink, 2 tacos and a pizza. Parking was also $20 for the lot which added to an already expensive evening. Probably won't be back unless I eat prior to coming and just go for a concert.

My wife and I were at City Winery in Nashville for my birthday weekend celebration the weekend of June 1st, 2024. I would caution anyone planning to go for dinner, the food is poor and we were overcharged on the evening's bill. The seating is cramped and they pack you in to maximize profitability. My friend bought tickets to a J. Howell show and this venue did not disappoint. Aside from the fact that I really love J. Howell and his music, the setting was more intimate than an arena type of concert. Our seats were by the stage which allowed for a more personable and intimate experience. The service was amazing. The server continuously checked on us and all food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The wine and expresso martinis were on point. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will return and recommend whenever I am in Nashville.

Great spot! I love how they had a wine tasting as soon as I walked in, I got to samples one white and one red. It was pretty quiet when I came in, which is fine by me! I loved their menu and now they give wine pairing suggestions with the foods. The bartender was super nice! I went with the Zinfandel with the duck tacos. The tacos were okay - a little dry to me, but I added some sauce and that did the trick! The Zinfandel was okay, little jammy for my liking! I switched to the Riesling and that worked better for me. Nice ambiance - a lot of people were there because it's connected to a convention center - looks like they get some amazing acts! I had a very pleasant dinner!

The venue as usual was beautiful. Parking was great and easy. The singer was AMAZING. THE Chante Moore sang her face off!! She looked beautiful too. The service was impeccable. There was a ticket mess up and the staff readily accommodated us and gave us complimentary wine so that was great too. I love this place and can't wait for the next event !

Came to City Winery for the first time for a show and I really enjoyed it. The doors opened on time and the show started on time. The wine samples upon entering the doors were amazing.

A lovely place on the inside..that is IT! The rest (excluding the entertainment), a big Zero. While it's not hard to find, the entry drive is like going through a back alley, then the parking is very limited.Now let's get to the 'people organization'. This was the 3rd time here -- and nothing has changed about the front desk greater - scrambling to get organized and a bit rude.On the + side: the Shared Plate choices are very good.FYI their headliners are terrific! It is just too bad the management team still seems to be fumbling the important part of assuring the guests are treated as important - not ignored or as a bother to their busy day.

Went for a show that was OK. Our table ordered 3 wine flights and 1 soda. When they brought the 3rd flight they also brought a fourth one we didn't ask for. When we told the server, she took it away mumbling. When the time came to pay I was charged the extra flight we didn't order. But thankfully the manager resolved the issue. Also we had no water to the point that we got up and grabbed water from an empty table.
