"Had a good workout at Sweat440 then walked down the street for some tacos. We sat at the bar the bartender was good. She willingly answered my 100 questions about the menu! Started with some Dirty Queso, it was good, kind of filling. My buddy ordered the Swole Bowl, he liked it although he said it was a bit creamy. I had the Blue Dream, and it was ! I definitely recommend the kewl ranch taco shell. I also added a Lucy's Fire taco. This taco was flavorful but had a bit too much going on for my liking. I will definitely be back to try a few more items."
"Brewhouse West is definitely a locals spot, without question and I can truly see why the locals love this place! We recently moved to the area and Brewhouse came highly recommended as a good place for a beer and some solid bar food. The beer is top notch in selection and price, the food part needs a little work.Brewhouse West is a no frills, local, dive/sports joint where the locals of all sorts come to have a strong cocktail, local beer, cheap burger, saucy wings or even some fried alligator...all while catching the game on one of the many TV's throughout the place. One thing that immediately attracted us to Brewhouse, outside of the location to our house, was their ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR! It is legit an all day thing with specials on cocktails, wine and beer! At some points of the night and on the weekends, you can get up to 50% off of your beverages...so, sign me up! We have been here a few times now and each time dined and drank in the main dining room/bar area. They do have a more private side room and a covered back patio as well. I look forward to the warmer months, as I was told they have great patio vibes and live music on certain nights out back! Parking is not an issue here. They have a few VIP spots up front, but if you are not lucky enough to scoop one of these up then they have a large lot in the back. Each time we have visited we usually just stick to the beer menu, which features all the classics, but also a rotating local tap. I am hooked on the Mayday Boro Blonde Ale! Food wise, they serve up a mix of classic bar food as well as Mexican and Creole inspired dishes. We have sampled a few things from the menu including the Chicken Club Wrap, Patty Melt and the famed Chipotle BBQ wings. The wrap has been hit and miss, as the first visit it was perfection, however on the second time in it was not put together very well and did not have a good ratio of chicken, cheese to lettuce. The patty melt was tough, as in tough to get through. I do not want to say the burger and bread were stale, but they definitely spent more time under the heat lamp than they should have. On the flip side, the wings were excellent! They were tender, perfectly smoked and absolutely coated in the chipotle bbq sauce...and then you dip them in that spicy ranch, boyyyyyyyyy!!! Service has been solid. You can tell they are understaffed right now, as is everywhere, but they are handling it quite well. The servers have been helpful, friendly and done a great job! Overall, I enjoy Brewhouse West for what it is! It is not on the top of my culinary recommendations list for Nashville, but it definitely sits close to the top for local divey-sports bars with excellent happy hours!"

"This particular Chuy's is located in the Opry Mills shopping plaza in Nashville, Tennessee. Since it is such a large shopping plaza, parking is definitely not an issue. The atmosphere is eclectic and fun. The service was professional and friendly. The food is more Tex-Mex instead of Mexican. Pretty decent for a chain restaurant."
"Stopped in before Saturday's hockey game and the place was packed. The line moved slow at first but picked up quick. The staff was friendly and killed the rush.I had ordered the combo plate with Carnita and Chipotle chicken tacos at $14.While it's a little pricier than I like to pay for tacos that's everywhere now and not just here.Service was quick and the food was amazing. Definitely a go to when I want tacos in the area."
"It's quiet and small but worth the visit! Don't be afraid to try something new...pupusas, chuchito, all great! Even the desserts are delicious."
"I visited Chuy's located on White Bridge Pike in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday, 3/3/24, around 3:30 PM for lunch. For the appetizer, I decided to order a bowl of Tortilla soup. The soup was decent. For the entree, I got the Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas. The enchiladas were extremely flavorful, especially with the lobster cream sauce. I enjoyed the entire plate from start to finish. The portion of the meal was generous. The complimentary chips & salsa were very tasty. What stood out to me was the great service. Joshua was my server and he was a joy. His friendliness, attentiveness, and hospitality exceeded expectations. I also liked the welcoming atmosphere. The decorations and pictures throughout the entire restaurant were awesome. Overall, Chuy's is a wonderful restaurant that offers delicious Tex-Mex food. I recommend coming here."
"AMAZING! Bathrooms available and plenty of parking-parking deck right next to small parking lot. I went with my sister and the place is so spacious and close to downtown. She is a local in Nashville and swears by this place. We are both from Central America and love our margaritas and Latin cuisine. These tortillas are homemade!! Chips/totopos are corn chips -but have hade contact with flour. The salsa was so good we asked for some to take back with us. They have an avocado tomatillo salsa that is just incredible. I think we had three helpings of it alone.Fajitas are incredible! We had steak and it was nice thick chunks of great meat! Normally is flat flank steak that's slightly over cooked but this was perfect and we shared that and it was plenty! Now the margaritas are incredible!! I had the OG and the pomegranate. I would recommend the OG. It was limey and so good! There is an inside and a patio. We sat on the patio it was perfect"
"Best Mexican food around. Fast friendly service. My favorite is the white cheese and the taco salad. We have been coming here for years and are always pleased with service and food."

My boyfriend and I were hungry late night and decided on some tacos. Whenever ordering delivery your standards kind of drop because hard shell tacos usually don't travel well.WOW we were so wrong. This place had the most amazing tacos in all of Nashville!! We both got the blue dream and a few others and we regretted not ordering more!! Highly recommend this place it's SO good.

I love coming to this local bar! The texas melt was delicious with the jalapeño mayo. The grilled fish salad was so fresh and yummy. Drinks are cheap and the servers are nice! They have music bingo, trivia, and karaoke on different days of the week. A great local spot if you are not in the mood for a crazy night out downtown!

There's nothing wrong with a little Tex-Mex in Nashville, when you are on a road trip... especially on Cinco de Mayo!Let the Margarita's roll, and we celebrate the Mexican St. Patty's day!!It's an easy location to get to, and you can pay for privileged parking! The people were super friendly, even the manager when he said we couldn't pull 4 tables together (haha)!! However, Elvis is now Memorial Enchiladas.... come on now, where's the Elvis Fried Chicken! I had my heart set on it!Okay: Pro Tip:Chica Chica Boom Boom sauce is made daily. The longer it sits, the hotter it gets! Always ask for a taster before you order this iconic dish! I love it, but sometimes they can blow me away!!!4 STARS

Had lunch here after spending several hours in the adjacent museum. We were starving, and this was convenient...and who doesn't love tacos? We both had the chicken burrito. The chicken was good, and it had rice and lettuce - or maybe kale? - it was a healthy, decent sized burrito. It was good (not great, but good). Our food was made to order and delivered to our table and the service was good. Seats and indoor seating are both a little small. There is a decent sized bar area that we did not experience, but looked quite popular when we were there.

I feel like I've always ended up at Chuy's by default and usually enjoy the meal okay but it's never worth raving about TBH. At this point, I've been to all Nashville locations, this location being the last and most recent (and I just realized how new this location is!). It has the easiest parking and access of the bunch just given its location adjacent to a strip mall and removed from downtown or the behemoth that is Opry Mills. This was probably the best meal I've ever had at a Chuy's as well. I think it's quite possible they've gotten better over time as in my memories of their food it's always too salty and a touch underwhelming. Everything was seasoned fantastically here though. The chips were light and airy, fresh and not too salty. The free salsa is chunky and packs a touch of heat, the jalapeno ranch dip is (far from "authentic") tasty to the max. I had the "Chuychanga" and it was the crispiest chimichanga shell I've ever tasted, buttery and flaky to boot. The chicken was just a smidge dry (and made me wish I'd explored whether subbing pork was an option) but flavorful and kicked up quite a bit by the mix-ins, cheeses and sauce. The red sauce on top and underneath---medium heat, one of the best enchilada style sauces I've had in a restaurant in some time. My wife had the cheese enchilads and enjoyed them, particularly the added red sauce. The beans here are above average as well as is the rice. The real standout of our meal? The tres leches cake. Big enough to share, gooey caramel, really one of the best versions of that dessert I've had anywhere, ever. Our server was super friendly, going out of his way to check in with us and bring us anything we needed. Prices were fair and service was quick and efficient. We dined on the early side, around 5 pm on a weeknight but by the time we left there was a line and a long wait list so get here early or be prepared to wait. All in all, if you're looking for the best Mexican or Tex-Mex in the city or want a varied, comprehensive menu--Chuy's isn't the place. But if you want a decent happy hour, some comfort food, and a few major standouts (looking at you, Tres Leches) all at a decent price in a clean and friendly atmosphere, this fits the bill.Standouts: medium heat red sauce for your burritto, enchilada or chimichanga; jalapeno ranch for your fresh chips; tres leches cake

"What a great taco spot. You walk in and there are order sheets for your taco order. There were beef steak, chicken, pulled pork and fish tacos with options on what you want in your taco. Note - soft tacos were flour so you need to be explicit if you want hard, corn tortillas. There were four of us and we consolidated our four orders on one sheet. There system is really optimized for 1, maybe 2, people per order. We spent some time trying to figure out which tacos were which....not a biggie but individual orders would have been more efficient. You order and they call your name on the form when ready to pick up at the counter. Our sides were chips with yellow queso (yum!) and chips with guacamole. Queso was classic, kinda Velveeta flavor and it was excellent. Guacamole had a nice spice in it which made it very unique. Another note - you won't see chips and salsa on the order form. Order chips and there is a salsa station on the side.Nice bottled beer set of options. The service was absolutely fantastic - very nice people. Our son went to Belmont and this was a popular spot for the locals. I can see why - no muss, no fuss great tacos."
"Always great service, awesome margaritas and chips and queso for die for!! We use to visit the one in Tally until it was closed. Surprised and so excited when we ran into this one here!!"
"I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time. After a nice drive on my day off, I decided it was time to finally check them out. Mexican food in Tennessee is hit or miss, with most being the latter. I visited on a weekend for a late lunch/early dinner and the timing was perfect because there wasn't a wait and the crowds began arriving as I was leaving. There was ample parking right up front and the ambiance inside was pleasant. I always like seeing Mexicans working at Mexican food restaurants because to me, that means the food is most likely going to be authentic and it was! I ordered a 3-item combo meal. At a lot of restaurants, I opt for shredded beef instead of ground beef because I don't like the taste of many restaurants' ground beef. I decided to order just as it was described on the menu and boy, was it delicious! The cooks at Las Fiestas know what they're doing! I ordered 2 Enchiladas and a Tamale. Everything tasted amazing! Their beef is seasoned perfectly, the margarita was tasty, with just the right amount of alcohol, and I really liked their salsa. This restaurant rivals my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbia, which shall remain nameless, and it's actually even a little better, which is saying a lot! I would come here more often if it was closer. The pricing is inexpensive and the service is great! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!"
"Strip mall Mexican restaurant for a quick lunch. Good so far. They feel like a modern version with home feel. Benito has been very friendly, respectful and attentive. They have great salsa. It could be spicy for some people. It's perfect for me. I opted for the patio. Music choice is good and Mexican band genre. Maybe a bit loud. They do not offer any specials at all. No food specials or drink specials. Food is lacking. The salsa saved the day. I ordered the fish tacos. That chipotle sauce sounded delicious and well it was lacking on flavor. It was creamy but no flavor really. They come with lettuce and shredded cheese. The sauce is on the side. Chips feel dated. Not really crunchy fresh. Rice looks and felt good restas was none, it was nothing. Water. Patio furniture feels cheap so it was somewhat uncomfortable, but I liked the type of chair but they just need to fortify the quality. I think they are new so they have room for improvement. Definitely a place I'll visit again if I'm in the area. Judge for yourself."
"We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm on a Saturday night the restaurant was about half full. We were promptly seated. Our server took a few minutes to greet us which is fine. When she approached the table there wasn't a friendly greeting just an immediate question... "What do you want" It was our first time there so my wife asked about the 1/2 off margaritas which seemed to annoy her. Her voice was very horse (if she was sick she had no business working) and again tried to get our order ASAP. We ordered as quickly as we could and waited for our drinks. Drinks took around 17 minutes (we were annoyed so we checked our watches). She did walk by several times looking at our table but refused to make eye contact. Entrees hit the table around 8pm. 45min - 50min entrees are unacceptable. No check back. We flagged down another server to get our server because we ordered corn tortillas but received flour and our rice was cold. She finally makes to our table and replaced the flour tortillas with corn. The rice was just as cold (I'm assuming it was the same setup). The food was good but not worth all the hassle of dealing with her incompetence. I wish I could give you her name but she never introduced herself. They have a pager at the table but it doesn't seem to work (we pressed it 7 times) trying to get our bill! Maybe we should've thrown it at her? Once the bill arrives she of course charged us full price for my wife's Margarita. When we asked her about it, she was unapologetic and said just take it up front and they can fix it for you. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the food was solid and our friends go to church with the owner. They speak very highly of him and I don't want to hurt his yelp ratings. I'm sure he would like to know what's happening in his business."
"WINGS! This family has the preparing and cooking of wings down to a science. They will be successful off the wings alone! I have yet to try their tacos, but a wing aficionado told me that I had to try the wings here. I am so glad I did. I got the six wings and fries. They are good quality wings and cooked to perfection. The fries were good too. They give you a good portion of fries. They have renovated the old Pizza Hut in Rivergate, and they did a nice job on it. They will soon be selling beer. He said they were waiting in their permit. I will be back for more delicious wings again!"
"A nice quaint spot to enjoy some fantastic ceviche! I'm excited to return to try other dishes. Hopefully they'll be half as good and I'll be happy. The wait staff was friendly and prompt Step to the counter and order then sit down and enjoy the goodness."
"This place is a great place to go for food. Keep in mind the menu and recipes from this place to taste identical to Cilantro in Five Points so expect some relationship there. In comparison to Cilantro (main frame of reference) the bar doesn't have as many options, and the decor is more dated, which is fine. Las FIestas takes a proven menu and caters to a different audience, and it excels there."
"Super fun and tiny little bar with karaoke. There's a huge age range here, and when we arrived around 9PM it was mostly women, but by the time we left a couple of hours later it was a more mixed crowd. The bar can be a couple deep so it looks like a long wait, but the bartenders are fast and friendly so you'll not wait long for your drinks. People are generally pretty friendly and it's easy to move through the heaving crowds. Cash cover at the door."
"The service was excellent, definitely the highlight and reason I would keep coming back. The food was pretty good, mostly well seasoned. The guac could use a bit extra seasoning, and the tacos were fully loaded. The price was fair, and the chips were fresh. I loved how clean the space was, would definitely recommend to friends looking for a casual bite in midtown."
"Really haven't had Chuys since we left Austin... been about two years. This location was pretty close to where we were staying so it was super convenient. The chain certainly remains the same though. Even with the two year hiatus it felt like we had never left. Like a daytime soap opera we had not watched in 2 years we were still able to pick right up where we left off. The place was busy and our server was hopping but she never missed a beat.I love the queso and the salsa here... I could dine on nothing but the chips and salsa just about. My wife loves the guac... so we ordered it all. It was as remembered. We all ordered our old stand buys... tacos for my youngest, flautas for my oldest, fajitas for my wife and I got the enchiladas... they were all good but honestly a little less good then we remembered. Chuys is a good place to eat... we still like it, but can't say we are longing for it any more. Maybe another two years..."
"We were nearby for a meeting with our contractor. She lives in Madison and recommended Fonda El Cubilete as an authentic restaurant nearby. And I'm glad she recommended it. We started with a pineapple agua fresca and an horchata. My husband got the barbacoa, which was delicious: tender and braised in a really good, rich sauce. I had the poblano chicken, which was a some pounded chicken with cheese and poblano slices and onion and a creamy (and a little spicy) sauce. It was good. The frijoles were tasty. Quick, tasty, affordable. Not a bad meal! I'd be happy to go back when I'm next in Madison!"
