The ingredients are sourced using items found just a few short miles of the restaurant. Much of the items used to create the dishes are sustainable. You can taste the freshness. First, let's start with service. The amazing server Stephanie & GM Stevie were amazing. They were helpful throughout the meal and made it a five star experience. Please give these ladies a raise! Dennis S. "In a nutshell, this is a small family business in a strip shopping hole in the wall serving up terrifically delicious gyros. Not much to look at from the outside, and not much to look at from the inside.A sea of parking spaces out front of the strip. A handful of tables close together, so it could easily get packed when busy, but they seem to do a good amount of to go business. Very friendly and efficient. Got the feeling they personally know a good number of their regulars. I can see why there are a lot of regulars. The gyro sandwich was absolutely delicious. Overflowing with a generous pile of crunchy deeply flavorful gyros meat accompanied by whatever veggies you would like. The lettuce was a little brown, but not so much that I was bothered nor tempted to pull off any pieces. Kings will be the first place I think of when I'm in the mood for a local gyro, so overlooking any little flaw in the place or the food, because a neighborhood business like this deserves all the love."

Sue F. "Driving north on 65, about 30 miles to go, singing off key to a classic Queen song, watching for the buffalo on the hill, minding my own business, when out of the blue my husband says "we need to eat something. Where do you want to go?" I'm awakened from by roadtrip coma. I shake my head trying to make a coherent statement and sentence when the inevitable "I dunno" slides right out. It's straight to Yelp. Lot's of fast food, nope. Then I spot a 4 1/2 star restaurant but we'd have to get off at the next exit. A half mile and 3 lanes to cross, we get off the exit only to be in the wrong lane. A fellow driver must have taken pity on us with our out of state plate and let us cross in front of him, making him miss the light. We get to Greek Cafe and we were the only ones there. They advertised a lunch special but, thank goodness, we only ordered gyros, they were almost too large for one person to eat. I had the lamb and beef gyro while my husband had the mixed grill shawarma. Gyro oand chicken with grilled onions and peppers. They were off the grill rather quickly and I went through the topping bar with speed. It was pretty out so we opted to eat on the patio. Both gyro were delicious and huge. I was able to get through about 3/4 of it before I reluctantly had to stop. My husband managed to finish his and the rest of mine. Better put - we didn't have an opportunity to eat again until after we checked into our air bnb in San Jose. By then we were getting a little hangry but it was also almost 10 hours since lunch. We'll make sure to build time into our travels to the airport so we can visit Greek Cafe again."

For the main dish, I got a the Kubideh plate, which came with two beef kabobs, a bunch of rice, and a grilled tomato. Everything was delicious, but the grilled tomato was really the underdog that rose because it ended up being such a staple to the dish, adding a bit of savory acidity to the meat and rice. I personally would check out their daily specials (except for their weekend pasta salad; I think there are better options and deals than this). We typically opt for the whipped feta to start and split two different plates or sandwiches. This feels like the Panera version of a gyro shop, and I love it. John T. "3.5You know how you can tell it's been a while? The name of the business changes. I looked high and low on the Jelps for the Peachtree Drive-In and couldn't find it. I saw a 'Peachtree Grill' but that wasn't the place I'd patronized, was it? It was/is... sorta. Looking at the pictures and going back a few years (!) in the reviews, I see the the place is one and the same (sorta). The menu looks similar and the appearance is the same. The name is akin to the old one so I'm assuming some sort of rebrand for some sort of reason is afoot. All of this is to say, I came here when it was the Peachtree Drive-In.Admittedly, the name never made much sense (perhaps the why behind the change). No drive-in movies. No drive-through service. Just a kitschy (in a good way) building in Woodbine with a gravel parking lot and covered outside dining. Not that I would be dining in (I was still a ways away from being comfortable for that) but it was nice to note. I needed to go grocery shopping but that was a weekend errand so it came that midweek in late summer, I wanted a nice lunch. Remembering that I'd heard of the Drive-In and was curious to know how that worked, I called in an order. I hopped in the car and headed south to pick it up. I arrived, parked and went up to the window in the covered patio to give my name for pick up. I picked up. I paid. I did not check my order before leaving. That's my bad.I got home to tear into my Spicy Chorizo burger. The burger: a mix of beef and chorizo with green goddess avocado spread, onion, and tomato. Sweet. Well, that should have been the burger. Underneath the patty was mayo or a mayo-like substance of some kind. Probably not a big deal for most. For me, it was a problem. I hate mayo. Things that evoke words like 'tang' make me recoil. The mouthfeel of mayo is nauseating. Mayo was not supposed to be on the burger, yet there it was. On my burger. Le sigh. I was already home. I didn't want to drive all the way back to Woodbine. I should have checked my food before leaving. And for $10 plus tax that was my food. No sides came with the special-of-the-day burger. I le sighed again, scrapped off (as best I could) the mayo, made my own season tater tots and grabbed a beer (so as to fight the cooties from the mayo remnants). 3.5 but I'll round up for good karma. And, because, well, the restaurant I patronized technically doesn't exist."

Like, literally dying, gasping for air, sure I was would expire if I didn't have a gyro within a few hours.(ok, I exaggerated at bit)Google told me that Gyro Spot was the closest (about 3 miles from my hotel), go I thought to myself "Self, you can do this..you can last that 3 miles drive". Of course, at 4:00 in the afternoon that drive is nearly 20 minutes (thank you, Brentwood traffic).Gyro Spot sits in a retail area facing Old Hickory Boulevard. It doesn't have a flashy, high-tech storefront, it's just a red and white awning that says "Gyro Spot".Once inside the restaurant looks bigger than it does from the outside. It's not elaborately decorated, but it's comfortable and roomy. The menu board presents all the options, and there are A LOT. Since I was about to cease to exist if I didn't get a gyro soon, I went with a traditional gyro and fries. (Side note: You can get your gyro on a flat bread or in a pita pocket). My life-saving gyro took less than 10 minutes to deliver. And MAN, was it amazeballs. Not only was it everything I was looking for to keep me alive, but it was well portioned and the fries were perfectly seasoned and HOT. Absolute perfection. Seriously. The staff was GREAT and they run a very efficient operation in a small kitchen without tripping over each other. On my next trip I ordered the gyro, once again, but without the fries and I was plenty full afterwards, proving that the portions are perfect without being obnoxious. Gyro Spot has become a must-visit on my monthly trip to Brentwood. I don't need to find a new place to get a great gyro. I've already found one."

It's soo hard to find restaurants with fresh, healthy options that also offer takeout, but Greko really is out here doing the damn thing. On my most recent visit, I stopped in around 8:30 and placed an order to-go. Normally I hate coming into a restaurant the hour before they close, but Greko was still relatively busy with folks dining in, and the cashier kindly assured me it was no problem. I've had their chicken and shrimp before and enjoyed both, but I love that Greko also offers a robust vegetarian option. This time around, I went with the Veg Bowl, with extra veggies. i also added a side of pita - and they serve it cut into triangles, which makes dipping oh-so easy.My bowl was just what I was craving - fresh and hearty, full of grilled veggies and topped with a creamy tzatziki sauce. The only thing I'd adjust for next time is adding an extra side of that sauce! I found this restaurant from Yelp's top 100 restaurant list, and I knew I had to visit it when I was in Nashville, TN. You can make reservations on OpenTable. I made a reservation several days prior to arriving. However, I did not need them at lunchtime (not sure how full it gets during dinner hours). There is a private lot shared with other businesses on the strip. FOOD:1. Sampler Platter, 4/5 (Suzma {yogurt-based cheese}, Hummus, and Ikra {eggplant, tomato, pepper, and onion}):-Suzma: Good. -Hummus: Average.-Ikra: Delicious.2. OSH Special, 3/5 (Rice Pilaf, Braised Lamb, Carrots, Yogurt, and Achicuk Salad {tomato and onion}): Essentially, it's braised lamb pieces mixed with rice pilaf and cooked carrots. Occasionally, I would get the lamb and dip it to the yogurt on the side. The side salad was a nice refreshing taste to balance out the other flavors.4. Lamb Kebab, 4/5 (Marinated Lamb Skewers, Rice Pilaf, and Grilled Vegetables): The seasoning within the lamb skewers were delicious. The lamb was juicy and cooked just right. However, the lamb loin was clearly the winner. I highly recommend ordering that if you are not sure what to get! There was only one server around lunch, and it took a while to get everything, including our drinks. However, we were the only table (AKA first customers) for about 40 minutes before other groups of people arrived. Overall, this restaurant is simple and casual.Would I come back? Yes."
