Diana S. "3.5 starsNot the fanciest place for dining in. But their great for cheap eats. Basic menu you would typically find at a food truck spot. Business hours they stay open pretty late. To go orders you can drive up to the curb and one of the ladies will approach your car for orders. And the food will be brought out to your car. They have the cantaloupe drink here that comes in a extra large cup for $3. Definitely a favorite that has us coming here just for the drinks."

Takes cards and cash. Offers potato salad and slaw in which I will have to try next time. This is located on Fort Campbell Army post access is limited to those within this community but well worth it if you come for a visit or in a rush during lunch. Great food! Sandwich comes with a can soda and bag of chips. Sorry no photos. Too hungry at time and didn't think about it."

Melissa B. "I have tried various Mexican food trucks in Nashville, and I would have say I am sort of addicted. Back home in West Virginia we don't have these..so when I first moved here, it was very interesting. My husband doesn't like them...but he is not a Taco Bell person either, but I have to admit, I don't find Taco Bell as appealing as I used too...since I have found the food trucks..I feel the food is more authentic than Taco Bell, so when I want a good taco...I find a food truckNow this one is located behind a gas station on Harding place, and there is always a line. Their English is not that great but thank goodness I can read a little bit. I don't speak Spanish either, so it is fun to try and order....lol !!!I sometimes feel uneasy when visiting these locations, I am usually the only caucasian and I don't speak spanish..but we get the job done. This food at this truck was good, but NOT amazing..and not really cheap...I would stop here again, if I was in the area, and my favorite place was closed or too busy...but I wouldn't seek this truck out.Now again this is my opinion and I am not trying to get peeps not to go there, just being truthful about me and what I experienced."

Maddie H. "One of my favorite food trucks! They do tots, and their specialty which are mashed potatoes that have been fried into a "tatercake". They then top these with different combinations. I got the Qutie which is pulled pork, barbecue sauce, cole slaw and baked beans. The meal is also pretty filling which is great because you can feel good that your $10 is spent well. The staff are also really nice and even when the line is long they get the food out quick or in a very reasonable time. So delicious!"

Brittany N. "So last minute, we decided to have a Mexican themed get together. Nothing crazy, 6 people... but buying and preparing food, drinks and appetizers in 90 minutes? Not going to happen. I found this place, $1 for a taco? I'm in!!! So I do have to say, it's for sure not the best life taco I've ever had, but it is for sure the best price versus quality taco. Don't get me wrong, SUPER delicious. Like really, really good. But yeah, the tiny $3.50 "craft" tacos, it's not that. They're simple, choose your meat... we ate pork, spicy pork, barbecue, steak, and chicken. I'm honestly not sure which was which, but I do know whatever they were, I wanted to eat them all. They came with onion and cilantro on top, 2 choices of sauce on the side, a spicy carrot, pepper, and sautéed onion. The location I'm not familiar with, I had to use GPS. The only downside is the location is in a tiny, tiny parking lot. Rewind, it's a food truck in a tiny parking lot, and this place was super packed. So the only problem was, I did get stuck in the spot for a few moments, but the guy in line walked to his car and moved it to let me get out. Awesome. I'll be back for sure!"

Meghan B. "I only tried one taco here, so my review is not a complete picture of this taco truck by any means. I visited during Tomato Fest, and had dinner elsewhere before checking this spot out. Given the fantastic reviews, the small menu, and the adorable truck, I just had to try something from the taco truck. I went with the sweet potato taco, and tried their chipotle salsa on the side. The taco was really tasty, although incredibly pricey- $7 is a lot for just one taco. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I would pay the $7 for another one of the sweet potato tacos. I would, however, try a different taco or a quesadilla next time. The salsa was delicious and I would recommend trying it- not too spicy, but packed with that smoky chipotle flavor."

Andrea W. "A friend took me here, tried the falafel appetizer and a gyro plate without rice (aka salad with gyro on top). Short menu which is usually a good sign. Falafel was perfectly fried outside, good flavors, served with tahini sauce. Gyro wasn't sliced gyro but chunk of gyro, and the outside was slightly crispy. Salad, tomatoes, cucumbers all fresh, good sauces on top. Their hot sauce is awesome, actually spicy but with flavor at the same time. I really enjoyed it! Prices are a bit high for the amount of food, and also there were mosquitoes in their outdoor eating area which I didn't appreciate at all. Otherwise, good food!"

The Peach Truck

Dennis S. "Lived in Austin for many years, and would make the drive out to Fredericksburg to pick up hill country peaches a few times every season. After relocating to central Tennessee, I would sorely miss those farm fresh peaches, and am very grateful to have the peach truck here.I know 2023 was a really rough season for Georgia peaches. Picked up one box that was poor quality - lots of bruises, many were mealy and flavorless, like they'd been inappropriately stored too cold when unripe. To the truck's credit, they listened when I mentioned the quality problem, and made it right. I took the leap and ordered another box and got the usual quality I'd expect. Leave on the counter for a few days and delicious peaches that then last for a few weeks in the fridge, if any aren't eaten by then. If you have extra, I recommend peeling, pitting, and storing in the freezer for smoothies and desserts. I finally learned how to properly cut a cling peach this season, I've usually avoided them in the past because they were hard to manage. I'd suggest the truck include instructions just to be helpful. It's not intuitive, but hold the peach stem up, cut along the equator, not the seam, and give a gentle twist. Take the half with the pit, cut not on the seam but around, gentle twist and you're free of the pit."

They even gave me a courtesy call to inform me my order was ready. Once you enter the parking lot, don't be like me and attempt to go to the first door you see to open it. Walk around the corner where you'll see a food truck and outdoor seating. This area will definitely come in handy during your warmer months. 5pc Honey Gold wings with lemon pepper sprinkles with fried okra with lemon pepper sprinkles. 5/5 You can't come here thinking you're going to order all "drum" or "flats." Nah baby you're getting the WHOLE WING. Top tier. Once you start adding sprinkles and substituting sides you'll see an increase in price. Definitely check out their menu prior, so you're not caught off guard by any additional charges. I'm a fried okra connoisseur. Okra 5/5 hands down. Crisped to perfection and flavorful. You won't be disappointed. 2nd time having Official Wingz, but 1st time at the Nashville location. If you're in the area and looking for some good wings, look no further!"

Especially when they have genuine ownership behind the name. I hadn't been here in a while. But I just so happened to come across an IG post in relation to the different tacos being used, so I figured I needed to go check it out myself. Needless to say, I was NOT disappointed. By this time the shells had been changed, but everything was great. I ordered the trio which consists of chicken, beef, and lamb. I personally couldn't tell which was lamb or beef. Some of the other items on the menu are not gluten-free, but it was good to have an option for those who can't have gluten. The food truck is really clean, and they clearly have things organized well.Overall a great experience with really good tacos! I had seen this truck by the road in a relatively nondescript parking lot once before. Today I made a sudden decision just before I passed it to stop and see for myself.Very friendly service and pretty darn prompt. (There were one or two other customers, but they were not crowded by any means. SO that could account for the swiftness.)As I mentioned at the outset, the food had full, rich flavors. Both chicken and pork were very tender. Nicely grilled hot pepper garnish along with grilled onions. The big drawback was the greasiness...(you can see evidence in one of the photos I posted.) The tortillas just could not hold up so we ended up eating them with forks instead of fingers.Spiciness - really just right - not hot, just beautifully seasoned.Impulse SGG - stop, grab, and go? This one worked well for us."

"I've been seeing this place for the last few months, I guess its moved on from Spring Hill and now parked in Lewisburg on the Nashville Hwy, not that anybody would be craving this enough to go searching for them.Nice setup where they're parked with astroturf and tables/umbrellas connecting the gyro and expresso trucks. Confusing menu, looks like they've cut back on what they were originally offering. I opted for a chicken platter mainly because I didn't see any other options that made sense. The chicken was dry, didn't detect any marinade, and my plate was loaded with rice and some kind of salad I didn't find very edible. Also brought home some Baclava... do NOT make this mistake, they were terrible. Ever see that cinnamon challenge on Youtube where you have to eat a tablespoon of cinnamon without dying? Well thats what eating these rolled up baclava fritters is like. I'm leaving an extra star up there because at least this place is different, would like to see an expanded menu though, maybe some pan fried cobra or something."

Gregory B. "When Dylan Field was working at Southern Grist, he would often talk about his desire to open his own food truck and damn did he hit one out of the park. I am glad to see he is doing well.My first exposure to his food was when he hit Craft Brewed in Melrose (now a vape shop) with a burger pop up. Excellent burger. For the past few years, he has been a permanent popup at No Quarter - at first on the side, now in back. And recently, he was recognized as the best Hot Chicken in Nashville. I decided to put it to the test (not my first time eating his chicken, but first time since he hit #1).The food truck is a food truck (see picture). You order and get a pager to let you know when you grub is done. So not much ambiance, unless you consider trucks a form of ambiance. Service is also pretty much like any food truck, although Dylan is more than happy to help you get the right level of spice (and trust me, he can light you up). NOTE: At the time, you got 10% off for showing your kitties (pictures of cats, get your mind out of the gutter).I order #6 out of 10. I wish I had been a bit milder, although this baby still has tons of flavor. I can just imagine what 10 is. Moist chicken, wonderful flavor. 10 out of 10. I can see why he got the award. The potato salad is a different than most and has a bit of an upscale flavor. I would say more 7 or 8 out of 10 here, but it is potato salad. For those hitting this spot, either pop into No Quarter or the cocktail bar next door (both allow you to bring in food) and grab a beer or mixed drink while you nom down on this great chicken."
