Shelby S. "This spot was recommended by several people so we obviously wanted to check it out while in Nashville! I was so intrigued by the Redneck Lo Mein and am so glad I ordered it- seriously so good! Others in my party ordered the Ike and Mike's Nachos, Rule the Roost chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, and the burger. All of our food was delicious. The tables have tons of sauce options, which I appreciate. They have several bars on every floor and lots of drink choices. We ended our visit on the rooftop with a drink while taking in the views. It was great! I highly recommend this spot. We were able to find something for the kids in our group, too, even though they don't have a kids menu. All of the staff were very friendly and our order came out quickly!"

Mike N. "Nashville, TN. I gave Darfons a five star just because I finally dined at a Nashville restaurant that was relaxed, welcoming, and serves delicious food. It was so good I came back on another night. The ambiance is casual and has the feel of a higher end chain restaurant, nothing fancy, intimate, or romantic. The lighting is soft and pleasant and the noise level was typical of patrons chatting. I enjoyed the inside section more than the so called "Garage". It was just too much like an overflow area. It could be fun for lunch when the windows are open and you want to have a few beers. The non alcoholic drinks are superb. Very nicely crafted. The salad was large, fresh, and so good. The mandarin slices with the walnuts were a nice touch. The salmon is a decent sized portion and well crusted. It was delicious. The salad with add on steak is an economical way to get a delicious filet, even if it comes sliced. The steak portion is excellent and cooked a perfect medium. Their version of pecan pie is one of the best I've had and I'm kind of picky about that. The ice cream tasted house made, very nice.I thought the lamb chops were superb, you get four in a delicious sauce. The chocolate torte is rich and is perfect with their ice cream. I will be back for sure."

Pili S. "Not gonna lie. I wasn't born and raised on grits. The closest thing I got to grits was Cream of Wheat for breakfast. Both are considered porridges but CoW is fine and grits are a bit more coarse. All my life I wanted to believe that grits was something special. But grits saturated in sausage lard and little seasoning never quite sat with me...or my stomach. But I consider myself a pretty open- minded and hopeful person...and that one day I'd find a grits worth eating. Today was that day. This smoked Gouda with bacon grits topped off with diced tomatoes and green onions was creamy and full of Southern hospitality. Sure, the cinnamon French toast was great, but the grits that accompanied the Traditional breakfast this morning will definitely make me come back! Our waitress was as hospitable as Southern hospitality comes and the great decor added to a nice experience."

Nicole S. "Robert's is the place to visit! This is according to pretty much everyone I talked to in Nashville. It's one of the many honky-tonks on Broadway, and judging from the wall-to-wall crowd inside, it's definitely one of the most popular. It was a crush of people from one end to the other. If you don't tolerate brushing up against people or screaming your order at a crowded bar, this place isn't for you.Like all of the honky-tonks on Broadway in Nashville, there's no cover to enter. But, if you like what you're hearing and experiencing, tips for the bands/performers are welcome.I don't have a loud voice at all, so when I screamed my order at the busy yet unflappable bartender, I didn't expect her to hear my beer request on the first go. But she did! And she delivered it to me right away like a pro. There's a second floor inside Robert's, and if you're willing to elbow your way up there, it's worth it. The second story seemed a little less crowded, and I got a good view of the band. But no matter where you are inside Robert's, it's going to be loud, so don't expect to come here and be able to catch up with your friends. I was sitting right next to a friend and had to yell in order for him to hear me. But that's just as well at a place like this. You don't come to Robert's for the peace and quiet -- you come for the music and booze."

Leah J. "One of the highlights of my Nashville trip was my birthday dinner at The Twelve Thirty Club! Since I'd seen so many amazing reviews, I had to come and experience it for myself. As soon as we arrived, we informed them of our reservation and headed upstairs to The Supper Club where we were greeted by their live band. Since our table wasn't ready just yet, we were able so listen to the band and they were absolutely amazing! Once we sat down and looked over the menu, the Wild Caught Scallops definitely stood out so I decided on that and I'm so glad I did. The scallops were placed on top of an artichoke fondue and were served with fried cauliflower, pine nut gremolata and an apple bacon sauce! Absolute 10/10!!! The dish was divine!!! Because we sat in the dining area close to the band, we were still able to hear the music while eating and it was such a vibe! Since they were informed of my birthday, they brought me out a complimentary dessert which consisted of vanilla ice cream with a chocolate fudge ganache and it was delicious! From the live band to the awesome service and delectable food, I absolutely did not want to leave. If you are ever in Nashville, definitely make reservations for The Twelve Thirty Club and thank me later! Also, The Twelve Thirty Club has three levels; The Honky Tonk which is the lower level, The Supper Club which is on the 2nd Floor and The Rooftop so keep that in mind when making reservations."

It was worth the wait!We tried their salmon eggs Benedict, parfait and Tuscan 2.0 (tomato, fried eggs and cheese). Everything was delicious. All the other brunch places I've tried previously only provided you very think salmon pieces, but this place offered a big chunk of the fish! The Tuscan 2.0 was tasty as well. My favorite here was the brewed coffee. It was a must try. Even I usually have trouble taking caffeine, I can't resist the coffee here. It just tasted so good."

Has both indoor (loud) seating and outdoor seating, got an outdoor table. Pretty packed inside for 9:30PM on a Thursday, wow. A few outdoor tables were taken as well.Tried the Thursday special which had bacon and jalapeno jam, sweet potato fries ordered separately (none of the already-pricey burgers come with fries, wow). Beef was dry and generally not very flavorful, but the fries were good - hot and crispy, and the Jack Brown sauce (mayo-based but has a bunch of spices in it) was pretty good. Pretty pricey for the quality and quantity of food, service was a bit slow but friendly."

Geri G. "Unexpected little gem of a place. I have to admit I judged a book by its cover and this time I was supremely wrong. When we arrived to stay at a near by place for a few days I saw this place and while it was crowded I overlooked it. I wrongly assumed it was busy because of its proximity to hotels and attractions, not because of their food or service. I was wrong on both accounts. Caney Fork is busy because they are good. We came here on our last night of our honeymoon to get some food after being out all day. The day before we had gone to their attached ice cream place and found that they were both family owned and since the restaurant offered wild game meat my husband was super interested in trying it. We came here before 5 on a Sunday so it wasn't packed with people and were greeted and seated super fast. Our server Red was awesome. He was personable and knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. We got the wild game platter and also the surf and turf. The wild game platter had fried gator, Cajun frog legs, elk patties and, wild game sausage along with their outfitter stew. The gator wasn't tough it was fried perfectly and had great flavor. The frog legs were tender and flavorful. The patties were a little dry but I imagine that in a burger they would be amazing and paired with the bbq sauce that came with them took any dryness away. The sausage was bursting with flavor and the stew reminded me of an Irish beef stew or a nice hearty winter stew. The surf and turf had an 8oz sirloin that was perfectly cooked and juicy. The shrimp was bbq grilled and bursting with flavor. The sides were had were the campfire potatoes that had a great crunch and the onions only complimented the flavor. And the deep fried cheese curds were not overly greasy and had the perfect melted consistency. It was a fun dining experience. The restaurant is done amazingly with tons of fun things to see and to discover. The waterfall lake with fish were fun to be seated by and provided their own entertainment. Like I said before Red our server was awesome. Fun and funny and made it more of an experience. He wanted us to enjoy everything which is what exactly happened. Next time I am in the area I will definitely be back for the food and also the service. Check this place out for something fun for the family or a date or just for good food."

Bailey D. "I'm a longtime Snoozer, and have made it my own personal mission to dine at as many Snoozes around the country as possible. My husband and I recently grabbed brunch at this location in East Nashville, and experienced truly exceptional service from Dominique. If you're not joining the waitlist ahead of time via the Yelp app ... what are you even doing?!? This is seriously the biggest brunch hack. When the Sunday Scaries hit, just pull up Snooze's Yelp page and join the waitlist. Then, you have a good estimate for when you'll be seated at the table. Sometimes the waitlist even moves a little quicker than estimated, which is always a win! When you arrive, you just check in at the host stand and let them know you're already on the waitlist. We were seated less than five minutes after arriving at the restaurant. I especially recommend this at this location, because they were absolutely slammed on a Sunday morning. Also - parking is easy peezy behind the restaurant, and it's free for your first 90 minutes! We were seated outside, which was actually really pleasant before the heat of the day. Our server Dominique was a rockstar - she was extremely attentive and offered great recommendations throughout our meal.I've eaten my way through most of the Snooze menu at this point, and can't say there's anything I wouldn't recommend. This time, I went with the Chilaquiles from their summer menu, which were absolutely delicious! I also love to add on a single pancake - the Sweet Potato Pecan is my favorite. If you've yet to hit Snooze, add this spot to your brunch plans ASAP. Plus ... if you visit on weekday, they have awesome drink specials! (We're talking $5 Bloody Mary's, which I don't think you can get anywhere else in East Nashville? Correct me if I'm wrong!!)"

You wouldn't expect sushi from what looks like a neighborhood bar when you walk in, but it was excellent. We returned this evening for dinner and to try dining in the bar. The food was great, but the real surprise was the amazing service. In most restaurants, the servers may be attentive, but they seem focused on their own tables. At Drakes, the entire staff worked as a team. If there were an empty dish on the table, whoever walked by would ask if we were done and then take it away. It was great to see such fantastic service. Alright, let's get to the nitty gritty. The sampler is a great solution for 2, maybe 3 people, depending on how hungry everyone is. I would classify this meal into 3 different tiers:Pretty good: - Brisket (a good taste, but I'm not a brisket connoisseur)- Beans (for having beans in the name, they weren't anything crazy but still good- Fries (you don't go to a BBQ place for fries, but they were good) - Mac n Cheese (a solid side dish, but could've had a stronger flavor, A sharp chedder would be better)Some Dagum Good BBQ: - Sausage (very flavorful with a crispy natural casing)- Pulled pork (lathered up with their bbq sauce elevates this shredded pig to one tasty hog)- Diablos (If a guy named Jud were make his own kabobs)Judge my beans babyyy: - The Ribs (the only thing falling off this easy was how I fell for this Chica named Selina), - Fried Okra (obviously this doesn't really have any taste on its own, but it was crispy and was a perfect compliment with the ranch to go with the sweet meats)- Iced Tea (or sweet tea for the native southern folk, which I do not identify with yet as I'm still assimilating from my NY roots)- Wings (quite possibly the best dry rub wings I've ever had, crispy, flavorful, and juicy.
