BJ Hot Chicken

Just passing through Lebanon and found this gem on yelp. I can honestly say this was the BEST chicken I've ever had. Don't usually eat fried chicken, but I am not sorry. I got medium spicy and it was just the right amount to tickle my tastebuds but not overwhelm them. I wish I had gotten more; I only got the leg and thigh, but I easily could've doubled that. The coleslaw was also excellent - - not too much mayonnaise like some do. I wish we lived in this town because I would come here regularly. Price was reasonable too!

We head here for the 2:00 Special. Happy Hour. Two leg quarters and a side for $8.95. My husband always gets the hot, medium is plenty hot for me. They've gotten a new door since they opened. Always very clean. Order at the counter. Delivered quickly to your table.

We're new in town and decided to stop here after a movie and it's a pretty good restaurant. The place was clean and it wasn't busy at all for a Saturday afternoon. The employees were really nice and helpful and brought our food out once it was done. The wings were well seasoned and flavorful. My husband finished his sandwich so I'm assuming it was good for him I didn't even ask lol. The potato salad wasnt bad they actually use mustard which is what I'm used to most places only use mayo which I don't really like. They offer more flavors than the typical hot chicken place like Hattie Bs which is good. All in all we'll be back.

We wanted to try the famous Nashville chicken before we head out and BJ Hot chicken was closest to us. Our order took less than 10 minutes and our order was hot, spicy and juicy. The spice was definitely not for the faint hearted and paired so so well with the coleslaw which had a coconut dressing which made it so creamy and delicious. We got in for Happy Hour which offered 2 leg quarters for $7.99 (usual 1 quarter for $7.99). The offer was a steal deal since we were so hungry and everything was wiped clean off our trays. Customers started flowing in once the clock hit 5 and downtown Lebanon got busy too. A beautiful, historic place to enjoy after our meal. Delicious and tasty spot.P.S: the chicken leg quarters are halal and have been verified by the staff.

I'm glad to finally have an option here in Lebanon for Hot Chicken. I always measure a chicken place on the breast quarter. If they can cook it correctly without making it dry then they're going to get the rest of the menu right. These guys gave me a breast that was cooked properly. I order the hot my first time at a place and theirs is hot. I would like to see a bit of salt in the spice mix that would bring out the flavor of the chicken more but overall it's good.Looking forward to the next time I come.

This new hot chicken place opened on the square. I popped in for lunch on Black Friday on lunch break. It wasn't very busy. The staff is super friendly. They give a bit of a discount to first responders in uniform, too.I had the medium hot tenders. You can choose how hot you want it. It had a little kick. The tenders are pretty large. The potato salad was delicious and my friend also got baked beans and said they were also very good. These tenders ranked up there with some of the best I've had. It's good quality chicken and cooked very well! I was full from this meal. I can't wait to bring my wife here soon.

Craving some Nashville hot chicken? Save your gas and stay in Lebanon. We got a six piece tender plate that comes with two sides. The chicken was crispy, hot, tender and juicy! I got the medium heat and it was just right (warm). Potato salad was good and the baked beans were piping hot. Free cups of water. The place is downtown, new and clean! I'll be back!

Some of the best hot chicken you will find. Counter serviceand food is cooked fresh and brought to your table. You can order any spice level you choose from mild (no spice) to a XXHOT which is not unbearable, but it is very spicy! If I had any suggestion it would be to offer better dressing choices. As for the tenders, sandwiches, wings and sides they knock it out of the park!

My partner picked up an order to go and it was ready pretty quickly. The place is clean and welcoming. When we got home, we opened up our order and noticed the amazing aroma. The fried chicken leg was crispy and fresh, and the greens were wonderfully seasoned. My partner ordered a hot chicken sandwich with mac & cheese that he truly enjoyed. My only slight issue was that the pasta was overcooked so the mac & cheese didn't have that bite to make it great. We also ordered the pork belly--yummm! The whole meal in general made me feel as if I was eating a homemade meal. We will visit again to try the rest of the menu :)

Good food great, service, clean restaurant, would definitely return again when I get a hankering for hot chicken.
