While Narin's has been a mainstay for the better part of two decades, I can't help but wonder if their heydey has passed. My last few visits have been a little lackluster, marred by the subpar service and the skimpy fixings of their popular but ultimately disappointing lunch buffet. The kinks need to be ironed out, but the potential is still here. The first thing one will notice is their parking situation. It's a narrow lot, followed a tight and awkward backlot. Coming here during non-peak times might be best to get an ideal spot. The door looks like something out of a medieval decor leading into a place that screams old school brasserie vibes. Beyond the white tablecloths, well dressed wait staff, and bar, it can feel strangely feel little stale. Heat haters (#1) will appreciate their ultra cold AC temps.Like many places, the lunch buffet is a good starter for all the foods they offer. At $18, it's a solid lunch time but, despite not offering as many items as other places. I was surprised at how infrequently it was maintained: spillage around the buffet should be wiped immediately but the staff couldn't be bothered to oversee it.Food wise, there were hits and duds. On the plus side, the saag paneer was wonderfully creamy, naan was crispy and fluffy without being too oily. I thought the gobi manchurian was sweet in a good way and was pleasantly surprised with their tasty daal makhani. However, the basmati rice was incredibly dry, which is what happens when the sternos are on for too long. The same issue was happening with the vegetable pakoras and the tandoori chickens were very subpar. The tikka masala was lacking all around and the same goes for the navratan korma.Same issues are consistent during all of my visits. I really do hope they iron out these issues because I do think they can get past this and hopefully return to the reputation that I've always heard about.__________(#1) Mmmm, ventilation. It's so cold, it's chilling down the food too.

This place had been my goto for so long, but after my last several visits, I'm accepting this place has gone down. Buffet is pretty small and limited. They have solid staples like tandoori chicken, chicken tiki masala, and saag paneer, but there isn't much other variety or choices, so you really wouldn't want to come back too often. It's pretty cool they bring you fresh naan to your table, but now they only are willing to provide plain naan as complimentary. Service is pretty minimal and reasonably attentive, e.g. take your plate away, etc. Weekday buffet is $20pp, which I cant decide is cheap or expensive given how everything has gone up. All in all, its a decent option to try for Indian lunch buffet, especially if you are in the area, but if you are planning ahead I think there are better options around now.

This place has plenty of seating in different sections, they have a bar and it is clean, a bit outdated I think but it has a nice feeling to it. The service is a bit slow, the food did take a while to come out, we did get servers checking on us but they would go missing from time to time. The food however was DELICIOUS! It had so much flavor and spices, which I love. The portions are perfect, we chose a family meal which was perfect for us. We definitely enjoyed our meal and I want to come back!

Over charged on To-Go. Check my pics, all taken the same day. Watch out when you order via phone and what they charge you. We have been coming here for decades but have always dined in with their buffet. This is our first time getting takeaway, and probably last time visiting. After having issues paying for an order online, we ended up having to call and place our order. They charged me $11 more for my order vs what was online and what they published on their menu. I asked the manager about it, and after some hesitation, he "claimed" their prices just went up. If I wasn't in a hurry to get to a family gathering, I would have asked to see proof. Bummer, really liked the food here but not enough to want to get ripped off again.

My order of Chicken Tikka Masala on Sunday night was amazing, very well-spiced and very delicious. The gravy was zesty and creamy with a really tasty addictiveness to it. The chicken pieces were really tender and the rice was very fresh, tasty and moist. This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants and their curries, bbq and desserts are all very good. Great, friendly service on this visit from one of the managers or possible owner I came across as well. On a note, the butter chicken is not listed on the menu, but can be requested and is also amazing in taste.

This was our go-to Indian restaurant for years, at all of their many locations, fire and ownership The food on the lunch buffet was reheated and not fresh.

I stopped by Narin's Bombay Brasserie for dinner on a week day. Located right off of the highway, depending on which direction you're coming from, you may miss the entrance to the parking lot. I did and had to circle around. Once I was seated, I was impressed at how large the menu is. Lots and lots of options to choose from. Since I'm all about variety, I went with the tandoori appetizer platter which comes with tandoori chicken, lamb, and shrimp. The lamb is ground lamb, which I didn't know ahead of time, and ended up being my least favorite of the trifecta. You don't often see shrimp at an Indian restaurant so this was a nice surprise. I also tried a bite of some saag paneer which was delicious. And naturally, I ordered some stuffed naan. No way you can go to an Indian restaurant without ordering some bread. The ambiance was nice and the service was standard. I'd return!

As soon as you walk in, the aroma hits you and you know you are in for an absolute treat! The restaurant offers the option of ordering a la carte off their menu or the choices from their buffet offerings. I have never been one to turn down a buffet so I always choose that option. At the front of the buffet, the first items to greet you are fresh veggies and two to three types of sauces. I tend to skip this section but others at my table gave it a try and quite enjoyed it.I like to load up my plate with rice and then top it with saag paneer, goat curry, butter chicken, yellow curry lentils, and this fried veggie concoction. Saag paneer: very creamy and flavorful. The cubes of cheese are bite sized and helps to break up the ultra creaminess.Goat curry: this sauce is a little thinner and the goat is so moist and tender. The meat practically falls off the bone.Butter chicken: amazing! I love butter chicken and this is one of my favorite versions. Chicken is moist, moist, moist!Lentils in yellow curry: this one was meh for me. Taste was good but I don't love the texture of lentils in general.Fried veggie balls: these appear to be sauteed veggies that have been dipped in batter and fried. Then they must be topped in some sort of sauce. Delicious on their own but dipping this in any of the sauces really elevates the flavors.Fresh naan is brought to the table and refilled as needed.Service is excellent. The staff is so nice and helpful. The only knock I have is I would like to see a few more options. If you're looking for a good indian buffet, this is the place to be.
