Seafood paradise
Crab Rangoon should be crunchy outside, creamy inside. The inside was off in texture like the cream cheese had curdled outside mushy.

Came midday the place was empty, but their ToGo orders are nonstop that's how you know the food is good. Sat at the bar for lunch. Since I was the only one dining in, I got my food fast & it was steamy good!!! I typically try the same thing at every Thai restaurant (Pad Kee Mao or Pad See Ew) & the flavors were perfection. Good portion of food. They open till 930 so I could definitely see myself returning for dinner or getting takeout. Atmosphere is spacious, cute family dining style. Many sculptures & dim lights. Really cute spot.

I dined at this restaurant eager to indulge in their expensive crispy duck and whole fried tilapia. While the dishes were flavorful, the high prices left me expecting more in terms of portion size and overall value. The taste was commendable, but the hefty price tag may leave some patrons wanting more bang for their buck.Service is okay!

Love this place! Been to two locations and the food is great. So nice to have vegetarian substitutions like tofu or "mock duck" (seitan). Wish they could keep the same staff, there's a lot of turnover. But if you know the menu well it's great food.

It used to be one of my favorite places in Humble-Atascocita-Kingwood area. I don't know what happened. Did they open too many places or cannot or don't want to afford good chefs?I ordered two appetizers for lunch.Shumai: tough meatballs inside wide opened pieces of dough. Aren't shumai supposed to be steamed, dough AND filling together? Result: dough precooked, filling tough, no taste, no flavor and completely dry.Chicken curry puffs: look good on the picture, filling is 99% mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. Again, no taste, no flavor and completely dry. Don't say 'curry' if there is no curry sauce. BTW, no smell or flavor of curry spice at all.All that said, the prices are through the roof. I was thinking of dessert. Roti (Indian flatbread fried in a tandoori) with condensed milk: $9.95. So, no dessert for me.

Nara Thai is a great local Lake Houston Thai spot. My favorite dish is their Thai Cashew Nut Tofu dish. Always fresh veggies & great tasting ingredients & food. You can customize majority of their meals with your choice of protein & spice level. They also have great Thai tea. Would definitely recommend. Lots of vegetarian options. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for Thai or curry. They have a large menu & lots of options to chose from, especially, if you're feeling like a culinary adventure!

This makes me sad to say. Nara used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area. We used to go/order a few tines a week.Tonight's meal was one star. The chicken in my dinner was so overcooked that it could not be cut. The sauce was flavorless. The waiter never checked back and took 16 minutes after the dinner was finished. He was on his phone at the bar area, and only three tables were occupied.Makes me sad.

Came in today with two of my good friendsThe place was well seated this morning but not too crowded. Despite looking clean, the floor desperately needs renovation, it looks like that of an abandoned warehouse. The bathrooms... let me not even mention how old those look. The two guys were great, they handled the volume of customers quite well, but my chicken pad thai was subpar. My friend got a pad Thai with veggies, which at first glance looked good, so I asked the African American server if he can add veggies to mine, he was friendly and comforting, he effortlessly gave me what I asked for, but the taste didnt improve. Used to be a lot better, Narathai needs to improve their recipe and ambience!
