We came here on a Sunday night to grab a few slices. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating, which is great. I really wanted to try their tomato slice, but they had all sold out. We settled for slices of the pepperoni and the three cheese. These were not good slices, and honestly tasted like something you would get at a chain pizza restaurant. The dough tasted a bit stale, and had no real chew to it. It felt like they hadn't allowed for any gluten development, but rather just threw down a blob of fresh formed dough and cooked it. The slices were also served lukewarm, which obviously didn't help when eating a three cheese slice.Overall, won't be back!

While in the area checking out Paesano's, I could smell this as I crossed the street and decided to take a chance and check it out (especially since Angelo's line was at least 40 heads deep). I asked the one pizza guy what slice I should try and he suggested the cheesesteak so I was sold. This is a white slice with cheesesteak and I added some crushed red pepper. This is all based on preference mind you. The flavor was good, I'd maybe even say real good. I love a solid white slice. The dough also had a great flavor to it. I do think it needed a few more minutes in the oven though, very doughy. Next time I'll know to order it well done. No harm no foul. This slice was $4.50 and the flavor and amount of meat (and their location in the Italian Market) makes sense for that price. I'd say Nannie Franco's Didn't Suck, but ask them to cook it well done. Mmm mm mmmmm. As I write this I can still taste the delicious crust of my pizza. WOW that thing was good. Nearly tore the box to shreds in a livid fight for the last slice against my dearest friends. Great pizza. Even greater memories. Love it

I came here because I got in a pizza mood walking around and the reviews here seemed better than Lorenzo's. I can see why. I love it when the sauce brings a lot of flavor to the table. This one is a real zinger. Sweet, tangy, and spicy all at once. This is easily in the 8's on the Portnoy scale in my mind.

I wasn't in the area for pizza but the smells coming from Nannie Franco's window was divine ... I stopped , I ordered buffalo chicken pizza , took a bite and fell in love. The crust is perfection, the buffalo chicken has a nice kick to it but wasn't overbearing and the they are open to 2am on Friday and Saturday

The cheese steak pizza was definitely something! Never had any pizza like it. Not sure I would recommend it to all, but definitely if you are in a mood to be adventurous. You order from the window and pay with cash or Venmo. They will heat up your pizza for a few min before calling you. There's maybe 2-3 small tables right outside the storefront to sit and eat at.

A good spot to get pizza by the slice in the Italian Market. I love a walk up window moment and that's what you get here - simply head on up to the counter, take a look at the menu, order some slices, and take them to go or saddle up at one of their outdoor tables. Note: Nannie Franco's only accepts cash or venmo. You can also order from this spot via Slice for takeout or delivery.I sat at a beautiful sidewalk table on a sunny day to enjoy my pepperoni slice and truly felt transported. Being honest, I thought the pizza itself was good not great. Nothing super special and a sweet sauce that just isn't usually my style, though I know a lot of people absolutely love. Thin, airy crust which was great, just not something I am in a hurry to get back and eat again any time soon.Worth trying for yourself no doubt, and worth going just to sit and eat pizza and people watch from the sidewalk. I will stop by again to try some different varieties during many future trips to the market!

This pizza joint is such a nice treat considering it's right next to the music class for children. It's also in the heart of Italian Market. It's easy being able to roll up at the window to grab a slice or two and pay via Venmo instead of cash or card. Very convenient and quick. Great and friendly service! They also have a very cute outdoor seating area. Prices are pretty reasonable as well.
