We went to Nana's in Denver the day before and had such a good meal that we all agreed to go again for dinner. As I went to search for the address, this location came up, and it was closer to us so we decided to try a different location. We were so happy to do so! Parking was easier and the restaurant was much bigger. We had to wait a couple minutes to get seated but there was no real wait. This time we knew exactly what to get:Pan fried dumplingThumb pan fried dumplings Spicy wontons (2 orders!)Beef pancake Green beansEverything was super delicious and service was friendly and kind. We had a scrumptious meal. Everything is so good here! It's interesting though, because there are 3 locations but their websites are all completely separate. They all seem to be run somewhat separately, as this one doesn't have Yelp check in. This location takes online wait list via their website.

First impression on this place is that it was surprisingly very fancy. They have a nice little art piece by the entrance. We came for lunch at 3 pm for a late lunch and were seated immediately since it wasn't busy. After being seated, we looked over the menu. 1 menu has an explanation and pricing of their food items, another is to mark what food you would like to order, and last one was for drinks. It was our first time there but our server didn't really great us with a warm welcome nor ask us if we needed any help understanding the menu or how it works. The table next to us had a wonderful server who took care of their customer with thorough explanation and even helpful tips. Below are the items we ordered:Spicy cucumber ($9.95) - loved the tongs it came with Red Sea chili wontons ($17.95) - alright Hot & sour soup ($6.95) - good flavorFries sesame balls ($6.95) - good texture Xiao long soup bun ($11.95) - not enough. Only came with 6Nanas specialty beef noodle soup ($17.95) - beef was tough The total came out kind of expensive with it being $77 for 2 people. The items are more expensive than typical dim sum / Chinese places and it also serves less quantity as well. Xiao long Bao usually comes in 10 but theirs only came with 6. We also had to ask for ginger to go with the Xiao long Bao. Our server wasn't around and the food was getting cold so we had asked another server if we could get some ginger but she held her hand up to my boyfriends face to motion him to stop or hold on while she fetched our server. I was taken aback at that behavior. A simple "yes let me get your server for you" would have sufficed. That same person would come back every now and then and we would lock eyes before she awkwardly took 1 place away from the table. They also got our food order wrong despite it being marked correctly in front of them on the menu. Overall the experience was okay. Service was subpar. Food was okay for the price. Would not come back again unless I'm craving some sesame balls to go.

Nana's is elegantly decorated and very clean and modern. Interesting to watch them make the beautiful little dumplings in the window. We ordered the stir fried string beans, Szechuan chicken, xiao long soup dumplings, hot and sour dumpling soup, pork chive pan fried dumplings and chicken lo-mein. Our server was great; attentive and helpful , plus the food came out speedily. Nana's is a splurge, but the food is excellent. Personally, I loved the all of the dumplings the most. The wrappers were perfectly thin and tender, the fillings yummy and everybite unique. The chicken lo-mein was completely unremarkable. It was the only disappointing item we ordered, lots of garlic, but otherwise bland and all beige. The hot and sour dumpling soup is a must, tasty spicy and wonderful.

This place was AMAZING!! Three of us ate for $100. The dim sum was fantastic. Everything was packed with flavor and filling. We ordered multiple thongs to try and have 0 regrets. The ambiance is very relaxed. When you enter there is a large glass encased area where you can see how dumplings are made. The soup dumplings were my absolute favorite. The truffle soup inside was delicious. And the meat was also great. I also loved the pancake roll. Would 10000% come back here.

In the end only 2 out of 9 things we ordered were excellent, but they were so exceptional I'm willing to give them 5 stars!First being the Truffle Soup Dumplings. I've never had XLB in "black skin" before and I'm totally impressed. I wonder if they used squid ink for the skin? And even more impressive is the flavor. It's definitely worth the high price tag IMO. I told hubby next time just the two of us come here and ask for 4 orders of these bad boys, pay the 100 bucks and be done, seriously! The other wonderful thing from Nana's is the pan fried "thumplings", they're the thumb size buns that I ate like popcorns. Needless to say they're addictive. The bigger version of this Bao was also pretty good, with tender skin that I wouldn't be surprised if made with cake flour. But they're not as fun to eat as the thumplings Other less impressive but still worth getting: steamed pork bun (average), sticky rice shumai (good but over priced). Wonton in chili oil (not juicy enough). Cucumber salad (too spicy, for me)These I will never get again: braised beef slices (over cooked and too hard to chew). Beef noodle soup: I swear they use spaghetti noodles and the beef cubes are also overcooked (or undercooked! Meaning they're too chewy and not soft like braised beef should be!)

If you're starving and have a dumpling craving, look no further because they're cranking out some serious dim sum at this new Aurora location. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, making a great impression when you first walk in. But more pleasing is seeing the staff folding the dumpling dough right in front of you behind a glass window. "This is going to be good" - I said to myself. And it was good. The main differentiator about this place I think is that the dumplings are really big. The prices are expensive but at least they're generous with their portion sizes, so there is a value play about coming here. The Shu Mai dumplings were the largest I've had anywhere and therefore probably my new #1 favorite Shu Mai. I loved the hot & sour soup, it really hit the spot and the green onions as a garnish really elevated it. But probably my 2nd favorite thing here was the Xiao Long Soup Buns. The broth in these dumplings was very tasty. "Tasty" is actually a great segue into my main takeaway that taste/flavor feels generally at a premium here. The dumplings are large and the portions are generous, but I found myself either not tasting much flavor or not enjoying the flavor in most of the dishes. The Truffle Soup Buns for instance did have a distinct truffle flavor, but not in an enchanting way. Similarly the Pork & Mushroom Dumplings had the strong flavor of the shiitake mushroom present, but they didn't feel as incorporated as they could have been. All being said though, this is still a really solid stop. The food is very fresh, the service is great and their cocktail program is amazing actually. The second I got home I had to reinvent their Lotus Blossom cocktail. I wouldn't think twice about coming here again to try more things on their large menu if I had the craving (and the money), or if I wanted to take out-of-towners somewhere good.

We've heard nothing but amazing things about Nana's so naturally we had to check it out. I love the interior of this restaurant. It's modern with a beautiful water fountain as you walk in. It wasn't busy when we went which is always a plus. It's modern compared to other traditional Dimsum restaurants on Federal. We were seated right away with our waiter bringing our water and menu immediately. Given this was our first time there, I wish our waiter told us more about the menu especially the portion sizes. We ordered a little bit of everything only to find out we ordered way too much. Their portion sizes are large, I would say shareable amongst a party of 6. The food came out fast and most of the dishes we ordered were good. We love their fried calamari and sesame balls. I personally wasn't a huge fan of their dumplings. Thought they all tasted similar and slightly on the bland end. The prices here are on the higher end. Don't expect it to be cheap.

Great food! Everything was excellent. My favorite was the beef pancake rolls. They were very light and fresh and I loved the consistency of the roll. Flaky and not greasy at all. The sauce was also delicious with the rolls. I didn't take a picture but the steamed pork and chive dumplings were delicious too. Ambiance was great too - a peaceful waterfall, ceiling decorations and you could also see them making the dumplings as well. Server was super friendly and made double and triple sure we were all safe with allergies. There was so much on the menu! Can't wait to come back!

Came here for Mother's Day Lunch with a reservation. Got here as soon as they opened and the line got long immediately after opening. It was a bit of a mess trying to coordinate the line as most people did not call ahead and there wasn't enough room for everyone to stand (it was raining so no one wanted to wait outside). Once they knew we had a reservation we got seated immediately. Menu is via QR code and they also left one physical menu. You order by checking things off on a reusable menu. We admittedly went a little heavy on ordering and were all stuffed when we left. Here's what we got:Spicy cucumber saladVeggie egg rollFire crackersChinese broccoliShuMai Shrimp DumplingsPork & Mushroom dumplings (pan fried)Signature BaoXiao Long Bao Soup DumplingsPan fried pork bunsWonton noodle soupShrimp fried riceShrimp lo meinAlmost everything we had was delicious and very well done. Not surprisingly, the things we didn't like as much were the ShuMai and Shrimp dumplings -- but we're big on traditional cart style dim sum so this wasn't what we were looking for. The egg rolls were ok, but I wouldn't order them again. Nothing wrong with them, just felt like more of a filler than necessary in the rest of this meal.Cucumber salad was delicious. Perfect texture and just the right amount of chili oil. Fire crackers were great. Not too spicy but the texture was nice with the jalapeños still crunch on the inside of the wrap. Chinese broccoli is lightly sauced (lighter than at dim sum spots) but stir fried with garlic also which gave it a nice balance. Pork and mushroom dumplings were delicious. Nice balance of mushroom taste without being overwhelming. Perfect texture on the pan fry.Signature Bao was like a smaller version of steamed pork buns. Good texture and taste. Xiao long bao was great. I do wish I had the ginger to eat it with but it was good on its own. Soup was so good my toddler drank it haha. Rice and lo mein were also good, but I personally could've done with just the dumpling tour :)The standout winner was the pan fried pork dumplings. The texture of the steamed top and the pan fried bottom is fantastic. It was so tasty and well balanced. We all agreed this was our favorite dish.Ooh, also had the Lotus Blossom drink which was so yummy!Definitely will be back and will recommend!
