Nam Phuong

Nam Phuong is a staple in Atlanta for Vietnamese food. I usually come here if I am looking for comfort food. The parking lot is really small and it does not help that this is a popular restaurant. I have had to find nearby parking just to eat at Nam Phuong, so just be aware of when you get here to eat because it can get really busy. The restaurant feels familiar and homey to me. There are a lot of families and kids that come here. I also think that the service is good. I almost always get their Bún Bò Huế because it is my favorite Vietnamese noodle soup! It is not the same as the version that my mom makes, but I do not think that a restaurant will be able to achieve that for me. Their Bún Bò Huế is pretty good; the noodles are soft and the broth is a tad bit saltier than I am used to, but it is not bad. I have also heard good things about their Bò Lúc Lắc (Shaking Beef), so I might try that next time!

Nam Phuong is probably one of the most reasonably-priced Michelin restaurants you'll find. The food is consistently good and the staff is relatively attentive given how busy it stays. The real killer pro tip is to get the family dinners when you come with a group. It's a ridiculous value. I came once with a group of 8 and we got the dinner for 6 and we left ridiculously stuffed with food left over. The price couldn't be beat for the amount of food we ate and everything we ordered was super, super tasty.

Easily my favorite pho I have EVER had in my life - the beef noodles with eyeround steak, well done + fatty brisket. They give you heaping portions of fresh basil/bean sprouts and TONS of meat to satisfy your meat:noodle ratio. Service is ALWAYS on point. Their pan fried crispy rice noodle dish called hu tieu ap chao (I get veggie + tofu) would definitely be crowned in my hall of fame noodle dishes - the sauce is awesome, the crispy noodle texture is incredible, and the veggies are super tasty. Nam Phuong is a MUST GO when visiting Atlanta and is my favorite amongst the Vietnamese restaurants on Buford Highway

This is a Michelin Guide restaurant and I want to come back and try all the items.Big parking lot for free parking.Staff was not as attentive as I would have like. Strange situation where there seemed to be more staff than customers so maybe there was confusion. My table had everything I needed so my meal was not interrupted. Getting carry out containers and my bill took longer than expected.This place looks a little rough on the outside but it is extremely clean and some what fancy on the inside. I ordered the combination Pho with steak and meatballs. I also got the Bahn Chen (Rice cubes). The Pho is huge and I had to get a container to take the rest home. The rice cubes are a nice treat. I will definitely return.

I came here for dinner with some friends! Been craving some good quality pho for a while now and Nam Phuong delivered. I made my own pho with brisket and the soup was flavorful. The bowl was large and very filling. Service was quick, and the environment was clean and modern looking.

The restaurant has a good amount of tables and booths and I especially love that the booths are by the window! I had high expectations of this restaurant since we've heard great reviews and I was definitely not disappointed. The pho broth was extremely rich and flavorful. The bowl of pho was very satisfying because it came with a lot of noodle and meat. We also got a banh xeo and even that had great flavor. There were so many other options on the menu we wanted to try so we'll definitely have to come back soon.

Everything you order here is authentic and delicious. They have a variety of vegetarian dishes and the smoothie is so fresh and sweet and will end the dinner right!

Parking was limited. I'm decent ambiance but infertility hate it where the ceiling time is dirty or spotted. Food and service is all pretty good but was expecting to be something more. Was very looking forward to it and my wife liked it a lot but didn't hit it for me

Amazing experience at Nam Phuong. It was very busy on a Wednesday evening but somehow, we were seated right away. The menu is huge. I wanted to try their rice dishes but I was craving pho. Pho only comes in medium and large sizes. The medium size can be shared with another person. The broth was flavorful and buttery. We also ordered the salt and pepper squid and it was very good as well. I will definitely be back.

My comfort food and restaurant! I love the food, especially Pho. The Pho is tasty. A lots of meat choices. I absolutely love beef. The portion is big enough. And The price is not expensive too. The service is great. I usually ask for chili slices. And they knew me and always provided it. The restaurant is family and kids friendly. Nice and comfortable.
