The wife and I spent the day/night in the city for our anniversary. I have been meaning to go back to My Pi to try the vegan pizza. It was a beautiful day and after a walking around all afternoon we were hungry. We ordered a vegan deep dish with mushrooms, onions and sausage. Wow! It was delicious as it looked. We loved it. Kudos for making something so good for the non-dairy/non-meat eating community. We sat outside on a beautiful night and had a delicious pizza. Had we any place to put it, I would have ordered one to go.After that we hit a show and had a great day/night.Thanks again.

I've long heard tales of My Pi from shortly after I moved to Chicago. I think they'd fallen into the realm of legend--meaning those I know who used to eat here thought they were no longer in existence. But on baby errands I saw they were there and we got the chance to pick up a pizza and give them a shot! I liked it a lot and I'd say that My Pi is probably my third favorite deep dish place now. They may have some seating outdoors in the warm weather months, but otherwise it's just a pick up and go place. They share space with Lil Guys sandwiches, which I've also had and is not bad. There's not a lot of parking in the parking lot but there is a bit of street parking.

Great deep dish and thin crust, and great service. Nice vibes from a small Chicago pizza joint. Their supreme deep dish with sausage is delicious

We preordered a vegan deep dish pizza for pick up and although a bit pricey, it was delicious! We were able to add vegan cheese and vegan protein to the toppings. The cheese was perfectly melted and I loved how saucy the pizza was. They don't have dine in but they do have a small outdoor covered patio where you can take your pizza and enjoy. Utensils and napkins are available at the checkout counter.

Firstly, word to the wise, this place is mostly for takeout orders. They do have a tent in the parking lot with some seating, but if the weather is not ideal, it's better you just take it with you. We brought our takeout to the Map Room, which is a really fantastic bar that has lots of Belgian beers on tap. We ordered the two of the cheesy garlic bread, two medium vegan deep dish pizzas- the spinach special and the sausage special, and a large salad with Italian dressing. It was a little surprised that the cheesy garlic bread was made with real cheese, a bummer since we came to this place because they have vegan cheese, one of two places in the city that does vegan deep dish. Our order came pretty quickly, maybe in like 20-25 minutes, while we waited in the parking lot. It was definitely enough food for six people but I think we could've gotten large pizzas instead. Honestly, I could not tell the difference between the two pizzas. It's very possible they gave us two exact same pizzas. They had very similar toppings. When I ordered, they asked if I needed plates and silverware and I said yes. When we left, they gave us a bag, two boxes and a bunch of plates. I assumed that the bag would have silverware in it. It did not. So, once we go to the bar, someone from our dining crew, had to run back and get forks and knives. It was a good experience to try the deep dish pizza but I wouldn't go back next time I'm in town.

"This is the best pizza I have ever had" - direct quote from my wife after eating a pepperoni My Pi pizza.I ordered My Pi through Goldbelly and I'm glad I did. Although I have eaten Chicago pizza in Chicago, I always thought the two most popular pizza spots (they both start with G) were overrated...and as a native Californian, perhaps I don't have room to judge pizza, but my mind is now changed. I couldn't decide which pizza to try on Goldbelly, so we took a shot with My Pi. The crust was perfectly crunchy and thick, and the sauce and tomatoes were tangy and fresh. Add some nicely seasoned pepperoni and cheese and you have the makings of an excellent Chicago pizza. Loved My Pi and can't wait to order again or go back in person when I am next in Chicago.

My sister and I were influenced by plant based tamika on Instagram to visit here for the vegan pizza! We called in our order and my dad picked it up. We got the spicy garlic bread, my dad got the cheese deep dish and my sister and I shared a vegan make your own deep dish with onions and mushrooms on it. This place has been in business a long time and this is the last location! My sister and I agreed that this is the best vegan pizza we have had, because we can be picky about our vegan pizzas! I had some of my dads regular pizza too and it was delish. Really awesome pizza!

They must be under new ownership or are seeking to reduce the cost of food supplies by making subpar pizza. I live over 20 miles away, yet I have traveled to this pizzeria on numerous occasions because the pizza was so good. The quality of the pizza has greatly reduced. Whereas I did not mind paying $25-$35 for a pizza pie, because the quality matched the cost, what we received today for $40 was robbery. I would have NEVER driven over 20 miles for what you see in the photos and I'd never bring a person visiting Chicago to try this pizza. A paper thin crust, so thin it looked like a joke when I opened the box. I was literally in disbelief. Then, the pizza wasn't even cut! How absurd. We had to take it back to be cut. My friend and I ate the paper pizza in less than 20 minutes and we were STILL HUNGRY! That's my last time going to this place with their paper pizza.. they need to change the name to 'My Bad' Pizza. Please zoom in on the attached photo to see the forty dollar foolishness for yourself.
