Wow, shocked I'm the first to write about this place but will claim it Yes it is mine! A smallish chain of about twenty stores most of them in Georgia that has been slapping together salads and sandwiches for years. My Friends Place keeps it simple wheat, white or pita pick your meat or salad and it is made on the spot and your ready to go in about five.If you want frills let them know otherwise Tuna on wheat means exactly that Tuna = Bread.Prices usually run between $4-6.00 for sandwiches and chips or cup/bowls of soup are available too. MFP closes at 3:00 pm and caters.

I ordered for my office as a treat. Hardly any of the orders were correct . I tipped pretty hefty thinking I could have it delivered but quickly had to change when there was no one to deliver ( this is an option and my office is half a mile away) The deluxe was supposed to come with certain options and it didn't because we didn't ask for it (?) then when I went back.. ( yes after sending someone there and them waiting forever I had to go there too) to have the charges adjusted Ii got home to find no credit but I've been charged over $90 twice !!! Never again ...

FIRST AND LAST TIMEFirst time in this place. I thought I'd give it a chance since I visit this shopping center quite frequently and there's no way I'm paying $4 for a hotdog (the place next door is a hotdog joint), I don't care how you dress it. I ordered the corned beef Reuben. (Yes. I had to specify because for some reason, somebody thought it would be a good idea to come up with a turkey Reuben. WHAT?!)The first thing I noticed was the lack of meat.Less than 1/4 pound on exceptionally oversized slices of bread. The sauerkraut was adamantly lacking as was the 1000 Island dressing. Flavor? Okay. But am I still in Castro's Cuba? Cause it seems like this place is over rationing. Bottom line; I spent $7.00 and I'm still f'n' hungry. Now, back to work and hoping I'll be okay till dinner. *One Star for the friendliness of the counter person and the other because they have extra 1000 Island dressing at the soda station.

Today was one of those unusual days where my lunch plans fell through and I hadn't packed a lunch, so by 11AM I was searching the internet for cheap but good and quick lunch options near my office. I came across this place and decided to try it out after seeing on the menu I could get fed for under $10. The woman at the counter was friendly and very knowledgeable, as soon as I mentioned it was my first time there she took the wheel and explained they are known for their chicken salad (tuna is also good option), that they do wraps as well, and asked what kind of sandwich I was looking for. When I told her I liked turkey she suggested the turkey reuben sandwich and a couple others options. I decided on the turkey sandwich. She walked me through the options (what kind of mustard, cheese, other veggies to add, would I like the bread toasted) and had my sandwich ready to go in about three minutes. The sandwich was very good, kind of like if I had gone to the grocery store and gotten deli meat, cheese, veggies, bread, and put it all together myself. It was also a nice touch to have the bread toasted to add a little extra crunch! The combo (sandwich, chips and drink) was $7.52 and it took about 5 minutes to order and wait for the sandwich to be prepared. Bottom line: it looks like My Friend's Place will be added to my list of go-to sandwich shops.

I didn't have a bookmark for this one but always wanted to try it and glad I did! Nice staff, great sandwiches (large too), didn't try any sides but had the smaller chocolate chip cookies and they were oozzy with chocolate and moist! My Friends Place is simple and economical! No frills and fanciness just plain old good service and great eats. I had something called a California but was torn between the chicken salad and a few other items. Yes I was THAT person holding up the damn ordering line while I made up my mind,...LOLSo, I kinda meshed those items on Pita bread and uuumm umm DE'lish! I had a side of Lays BBQ chips and an Arnold Palmer (one of my fav summer beverages:-)I am definitely going back and should thank my co-workers, Michael for treating me and the King for his recommendation......

I could not put my finger on what was off about this place. But I kept coming back because I've loved the fresh tastiness of other My Friends locations for a long time.I love the elderly folks who make up most of the customers at lunch time. I guess they live in a nearby retirement place. And they casually hang out and chat. I had a throw-back moment when a guy pulled out his flip phone....But where are all of the younger adults who usually like the food at My Friends Place? I just figured it out yesterday. The owner/manager is not always around. But when he is, things are not good for me. Another Yelper here overheard him going off about some woman and using an extremely derogatory name in discussing her. Twice, I've seen this guy be unkind and edgy to the young lady behind the counter. Apparently this is some kind of attempt to provide her with instructions. I hope that she quickly goes to work somewhere else and learns what it's like to have a kind boss. I feel repressed anger in the air. I think the Gods are sending me a message. And that is, "Don't go back there. Things might erupt and a chair might be hurtling accidentally at your head when you try to come in through the front door."

Bought the pastrami Reuben the portions were off, and the bread was too think. Everything was bland. The crust on the bread was really tough and chewy, and it's not as cheap as everyone is making it out to be.

The sandwich's are sooooooo good. The bread is always so fresh as well as the tomato's, lettuce, avocado, pretty much everything that's on the sandwich! The sweet tea is amazing and the customer service is on point!!! I totally forgot to take pics of the food before I devoured it but it looked, smelled and tasted DELICIOUS!!

Was in a huge hurry so I ordered a quick sandwich online and gave myself about 15 min - ran in to grab it- girl looks at me and says "did u use Door Dash?" No I said. She says oh. Went over to printer, pulls off order and says to me "yeah, so really it's better just to call in if you have only one sandwich you know? And "snottily" says to kitchen- can I get a roast beef sandwich please?I said no thank you. Don't make the customer feel like I did something wrong. Seriously? You had ONE customer in the restaurant. Check the printer.
