Pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant across the street from my hotel. I ordered a lunch special for takeout. Staff very friendly and helpful, food delicious. Will return here the next time I am in town.

The food was excellent! Just the right amount of spice and served very hot.The naan was great. It was a little thicker than naan we've had in the past, so we could've just split one. However, I took half my food home, so now I have some naan to eat with it.The service was excellent. Everyone was attentive, and we had everything we needed to enjoy an awesome meal.

A fairly authentic Nepali/Indian restaurant with great momos and decent dishes.Service was very good and location is smack dab in the heart of the city. Some of us did feel bloated afterwards likely due to the cooking oil not agreeing with us.Note to owners: Please change oil and dont out so much food coloring in your chicken

Had lunch here while visiting Raleigh for a conference. These momos were very different from the ones I've had in Queens, NY but still very tasty. These were curry flavored chicken in a spicy yellow sauce/soup. There are a few different ones on the menu, and the server kindly explained the differences. Momos were tender and cooked just right. These are the ones he said were "soup dumplings" but they should be described as "dumplings in soup" to avoid confusion with xiao long bao. Also tried pani puri for the first time, which was a refreshing app but surprisingly spicy. I drank a lot of chai to help with the heat. You also get the complimentary crispy flatbread (papadum?) with sauces before your meal.

I was researching restaurants in the Raleigh, NC downtown area where my friend and I could eat dinner before going to a concert. I came across the Mustang House restaurant and saw great reviews, so we decided to try it. I made reservations online two days before.I was running a little late for my reservation, so I called to let them know. They were very receptive and said that's not a problem. My friend had arrived before I did and was already seated at our table by the time I showed up, so I just walked in to where she was.Our server was professional and gave us a few minutes to peruse the menu. Our order was taken in a timely manner, and our food also arrived in a timely manner. Throughout our dining experience, our server checked in on us from time to time to remove empty dishes, and check to see if we were okay or needed anything else.We enjoyed all dishes. My friend expressed that her salad tasted good and was crisp and fresh. We both enjoyed our entrées. I had the prawn curry with basmati rice. The dish was very flavorful, and the basmati rice was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed having the choice on the level of spiciness that I wanted. This customization enabled me to have the spiciness that I wanted and enjoy the flavor of the food without it being unbearably spicy. The portion sizes were adequate.I also ordered a mango lassi which I loved. The garlic naan bread was also really good. It was not overbearing with garlic and was not overly seasoned so it worked well with the additional spices left for us with the Pratha bread. It is not a very large restaurant; however, it is a nice size, doesn't have many "bells and whistles", and allows for a comfortable and peaceful dining experience. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. I will definitely visit again.

We went here last night for the first time last night. The food was amazing! You can definitely tell from the interior that this is a new restaurant though. There isn't really a host stand or even a kitchen that's behind closed doors. This did not make the experience bad for us at all though. The service was great and efficient. I won't say this is the best Indian food I've ever had, but it's certainly the best I've had in Raleigh. This was also my first time having Nepali food like the chicken momos. They were delicious!

I have been here a few times and love that they have a big selection of vegetarian options. The spice options also make this a good choice for folks that are hesitant to try the cuisine due to the assumption that it will be too spicy. The "mild" spice level is hardly spicy at all and a great option to try if you are new to the cuisine. We always order takeout, but would be interested to experience dining in as well some time, since it looks very inviting inside. The takeout is always very quick and just finishing up when we arrive to pick it up.

I can't speak to the in house dinning experience as I have only ordered takeout, but I wanted to add that the spice level I chose (medium spice) matched really well with what I was looking for. I am a westerner so much of the spicy foods of Asia can be really too strong for me, but I do enjoy some level of spice, so I appreciate a medium spice which is deeply flavorful without being too hot. I also didn't notice any digestive discomfort afterwards which I often do so thats really a game changer for me!! 10 out of 10, will be coming back. Thank you
