Music City Hot Chicken

Music City Hot Chicken was recommended to us when we were visiting Denver and the fact that Trve Brewery was in the same building made a visit here a no brainer. You go to the very back to place your order and when it's done, you simply grab it and take it back to your seat. While waiting, I suggest that you grab a beer. The individual who helped us was very nice and the service was fast. I went with the tenders. You also choose the heat level so I went with Nashville hot. They were delicious. Super moist and the heat was nice. Not super overpowering or overwhelming. Just a nice burn and good flavor. And the breading was good too. My boyfriend tried the chicken and waffles which is on the brunch menu and is available on Saturdays and Sundays. It was served with honey butter and fireball syrup. He loved it and has regularly commented that he wants more chicken and waffles since we've returned. We also went with a couple of sides-fries and Mac and cheese. And a variety of dipping sauces-house, ranch, and honey mustard. The Mac and cheese was the least favorite of the two. We had three people in our party and we all agreed that the sauce was a bit thin and we'd probably not order this side again. The fries however, were awesome. They are the super thick puffy cut that you never see anymore. Definitely get some! The ranch and honey mustard were completely overshadowed by the house sauce. The house sauce was a little smokey, a little spicy, and a little sweet with Smoked tomatoes, chipotle, and lime. This sauce with the hot chicken and fries was perfection. If you live in the area definitely check them out. I will be jealous in KC while I await my next trip to Denver.

I ordered takeout for my husband and myself. We were craving some chicken and waffles, so wound up getting that and sweet potato fries, regular fries, and the southern chicken tenders. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing meal. I'm not really sure how, but the belgian waffles had a strange bitter... salty taste to them? I've never had a belgian waffle that wasn't a little bit sweet, at least. The tenders were bland, but not terrible. Maybe if you order it "southern" style hot, that means mediocre seasoning? The best part was the fries. The sweet potato ones were especially good. I can't bring myself to rate it less than a 3, as everything wasn't great, but it wasn't TERRIBLE or anything. Since most of the food was left untouched, I also couldn't bring it to a 4. This is just my own personal experience with the food. Please feel free to try for yourself if you're in the area. But maybe just don't go out of your way to get it.

Vegan Fried Chicken!! I've noticed so many hot chicken restaurants around town and not many offer vegan/vegetarian options. Music City has several options! My go to order is the fried tempeh with a side of waffles! It's also super easy to place an online order and pick up.

This place is located inside TRVE Brewing. We were welcomed and the staff was pleasant. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich at the "HOT-bit of burn" level. I ordered the "Green Chili Blend-some heat" for my 4-piece tenders. He really enjoyed his sandwich. My tenders, on the other hand, were so hot, I just boxed them up after one to take them home. I had him try one and he asked why I ordered a hotter spice than his and I explained the one I picked was less than his. I guess the "some heat" level was beyond my range. The green chili blend looked like a blackened seasoning in the light when I got home. It is quite dim in TRVE where MCHC is located. Unfortunately I'll leave this place to my hubby in the future. It was not for me.

Phenomenal hot chicken place inside Trve brewing! I ordered online from the QR code and just went to the counter to pick iron up when it was ready. Loved their brunch menu, it paired perfectly with Trve beers. The Nashville hot had a GREAT kick! More than I expected. It was so good, and I was in love with the raspberry pepper jam. It added a great sweetness with the kick of Nashville hot, my mouth didn't stop watering. My boyfriend's Hot Mess sandwich was also amazing! The potatoes were very crispy, flavored great. The sandwiches were huge, we regretted eating it all but we couldn't stop. You have to come here! Inside of Trve is metal themed but it's got plenty of sunlight and the vibe is just chill.

Woah, I haven't reviewed Music City Hot Chicken? Shame on me.This easily has to be some of the best hot chicken in the city. Why? It's actually hot! I'm getting sick and tired of every restaurant in town putting a hot chicken sandwich on the menu and it possessing barely any heat. Hot chicken is hot chicken. Let's keep it that way!Best of all, Music City Hot Chicken is located inside one of my favorite places, TRVE Brewing. Hot chicken, beer and metal? Sign me up. AND CARVE SLAYER INTO YOUR FOREARMS WHILE YOU'RE AT IT.Service is quick. You order at the counter and in 10 minutes you pick up your food and enjoy. Music City's forte are their hot chicken tenders. If you can't handle the heat they have lower levels of spiciness. Also I'm pretty sure they make their own sauces, and it makes all the difference in the world.Don't sleep on this humble slice of hot chicken heaven.

We came here while in town visiting. I'm a fan of Nashville hot chicken places and this one popped up. I ordered 3 tenders Nashville hot with a side of Mac n cheese. The Nashville hot was like a dry rub with a mixture of sweet and spicy , so not too hot. The Mac n cheese could've been better. They also had a bar inside selling beer. The customer service was great and the food came out really quick. Only downsides is gotta find parking on the street and it was very dark in there during the day.

I've tried many places around Denver and music city is always my go to chicken place to come back to. They have a simple, small menu but that's all you need. Their chicken is always hot and super crispy. They also have the best sides, like the Mac and cheese and fries are the best.They also have a nice lunch deal that I take advantage of sometimes if I just need a quick bite for a reduced cost.Also helps that it shares a location with TRVE so if you're going in person, have a beer!

This joint is dark and depressing. The food was good but not great. Long family style tables. Super loud music. Service is not with a smile. Not our scene, won't be back.

I was just headed to the thrift store next door, but I had to stop in for some hot chicken and Viking themed beer.The chicken - Nashville hot - was just exactly hot enough. Almost regretfully hot; makes you appreciate your beer!The music - some kind of blasting metal punk - wasn't my thing but thumbs up to them anyway for playing it.Staff were all cool.
