What a wonderful evening at Mundi's. The food was fabulous! The service was great! And the ambiance was lovely. If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant for date night or family dinner with very reasonable prices, be sure to check out Mundi's in Dania!

We've decided to stop at this restaurant on my way to the airport. I'm a truly pasta lover, but what I've got here ordering a pasta was actually a soup (too much sauce) with no taste. I ate it catching the pasta out of the sauce. We've also ordered a home salad itself and got the same scenario (too much sauce).Frankly speaking, I didn't expect to see the salad on my check, as nobody even touched it, but I did see it and paid for.But despite all of the above, the service was really good!Never ever back.

We made reservations Saturday night at 7:30 and unfortunately ran a bit late, Lisa was so helpful in accommodating us at 7:50. They have done a fantastic job stepping up the atmosphere, service while maintaining the fantastic original dishes. We started out with some wine, garlic, chicken and pasta along with chicken franchaise (my favorite) the food came out piping hot, fresh, incredible flavors and great portions. They spoil every table with super service, extremely attentive and personal while never having your water get low. My only request would be a little larger portion of pasta with the chicken franchaise as they give you 3 pieces of chicken. The best local Italian restaurant in the area!!!!

I had dinner last night at Mundi's on Dania Boulevard in the heart of Dania Beach Florida. Does let the size of this place fool you, great things come in small packages. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive and they all worked so well together to help make my dining experience a great success. After looking through their menu I decided to order a tried and true winner, Chicken Parmigiana. This is a large portion and certainly enough to share. Somehow, I managed to down the whole thing... I also got a Sade Salad to start and it was delicious. They brought out a couple of slices of oven fresh bread and a saucer of oil with a hint of garlic that I absolutely loved. I should've saved some of the bread to sop up the remaining sauce from my Chicken Parmigiana but at that point I was absolutely stuffed. I didn't have enough room for dessert, I'll try to pace myself next time because I spied some wonderful offerings on their dessert menu.If you love great Italian cuisine, check out Mundi's, you'll be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community! E ora si mangia! (And now we eat!)

We've been looking for "neighborhood Italian" in the Aventura/Hallandale Beach/Dania Beach area for a while now, and we stumbled across Mundi's in a recently Yelp search and we had to try it! We're never really in the area of the restaurant, so we had no clue such an amazing restaurant was so close to our home!Mundi's is located across from The Casino at Dania Beach, in a shopping center with a grocery store and a few other businesses. We've been to Mundi's 2 or 3 times now for dinner, and each time we're warmly greeted by restaurant staff and promptly seated. We love the restaurant as it's small and intimate and it does feel like you're dining at a true family establishment. We always start with a bottle of wine which range in price (most are less than $30 bottle). They also bring some fresh bread to start along with olive oil. We've tried a variety of items from the menu, but we always love the pasta which is all freshly made in house. One of my favorite things I tried recently was the Fiocchi Pasta with Chicken ($26), and it had these little dumplings of cheese and pear, and they were OMG outstanding! But we've never had anything there that we haven't liked, so you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. All entrees come with a side salad with an amazing house dressing. All items we have each time are very fresh, and it's always a true amazing experience! The restaurant also has a nice variety of desserts, but we're always too full to get to dessert at the end of the meal! :)Definitely try Mundi's if you're in the area and are in the mood for an amazing family Italian meal!

We cruised into town to see some family and we had (had is important to remember) a spot we always went for Italian since we were kids. We went there and let's just say the feeling, service and experience has changed. I don't want to drop names but it's a staple in this area. That being said the old spot was full so we decided to try Mundi's and Wow! What a great experience. The place has limited seating but I called ahead and they held a table for us. The service was 5 star! We had Chicken Parm, Linguini with Alfredo, and Fiocchi (sorry if I didn't spell it right). Drink stayed full, the salad came without asking, extra sauce, no problem...it really was special. The Fiocchi pasta was a delicious and the star! Cheese filled pasta with...wait for it....pear! Unreal good! If you are in the area, don't wait to try this one! Go, you won't regret it. For desert we had the Cannoli, Chicago Layer Cake and the Limoncello Cake. All delicious! See you out there!

Mundi's Italian Restaurant Review:On a lovely Sunday afternoon, my companions and I decided to treat ourselves to some authentic Italian cuisine at Mundi's Italian restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful dining experience. To kick off our Italian culinary adventure, we opted for the special calamari in vodka sauce as our appetizer. The calamari was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, with a touch of the creamy vodka sauce that added a delightful twist to the traditional calamari dish. It was a delightful start to our meal and left us eagerly anticipating what was to come. For our starters, we decided to go with the side salads, and they proved to be a wise choice. Fresh and crisp, the salads served as a refreshing palate cleanser, preparing us for the hearty main courses that awaited us.As the main event arrived at our table, we couldn't help but be impressed. We had two classic Italian dishes: the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parmigiana. The spaghetti and meatballs were a true comfort food delight, with perfectly cooked pasta smothered in a rich, savory tomato sauce and accompanied by tender, mouthwatering meatballs. The chicken parmigiana was equally satisfying, with the chicken cooked to perfection and smothered in melted cheese and a robust tomato sauce that left us craving for more. One of the highlights of the meal was the Chianti Ruffino. The wine complemented the dishes exceptionally well, enhancing the flavors of the food and creating a truly delightful pairing experience. And let's not forget the side dishes! The sourdough garlic bread was a real treat - warm, crusty, and infused with the perfect amount of garlic and herbs. It was the ideal accompaniment to soak up the delectable sauce from the spaghetti and meatballs. Additionally, the angel hair pasta was a light and delicate choice, cooked al dente and seasoned to perfection.Throughout our dining experience, the service at Mundi's Italian restaurant was truly excellent. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to the whole experience. They made sure we had everything we needed and were quick to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu.In conclusion, our visit to Mundi's Italian restaurant was nothing short of superb. From the scrumptious calamari to the mouthwatering main courses and the delightful wine pairing, every aspect of the meal was top-notch. The ambiance and service further elevated the experience, making it a memorable outing that we won't soon forget. If you find yourself craving authentic Italian dishes prepared with care and served with a smile, Mundi's Italian restaurant should be at the top of your list. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return for another delightful meal.

This is what I imagine Italian food would taste like if it were served in Denny's because the quality and flavors were just not there and I suppose if Denny's did serve Italian food the quality would be better.I was with family and we tried many items so I sampled a good cross section of the menu. This is a restaurant that might be fine for people who value quantity over quality as the portions are large but what's the point if the food is terrible. The shrimp in one dish were of the tiny cheap variety and not fresh shrimp and they really had an off putting disgusting taste.Pastas were overcooked and served with sauces that lacked taste and nuance.Chicken also was terrible and was not fresh and it took some strong cutting to try a piece and I regret it because not only was the chicken bad the oil it was fried in seemed to be cheap or old and it imparted a stale taste. This reminded me of bad buffet food.I dine out every day and Italian food is one of my favorites and I have to say that Mundi's was one of the worst restaurants I've been to in South Florida.
