I'm in heaven... Food heaven, that is. I got a chance to chat with Matt M, the owner of Muiishi Makirritos at my last food truck event. The name is definitely pronounced well for my crowd. They can't pronounce it but they recognized the truck and ran toward it. When my guests were happy to see them again, I knew this truck is a must-have at my food truck events. The price is reasonable considering the creative ingredients for indiscriminate taste in Asian fusion dishes. They work highly efficient in a confined food truck space and turn out many orders at the same time. Some items require more time. That's why entertainment at a food truck event is beneficial. I want more Swaggy Dogs next time I see them. Those dogs looked good and tasted even better. Bibimbap smelled so good. It was a shared dish. Everyone was praising on this delicious dish.Matt and Melonie are easy to work with. They always arrive on time and ready for the customers. I can't wait to see them at Filipino Street Festival in October.**76th review of 2017**

This is one of my friends' favorite food trucks. She loves this food truck so much that she would actually have the food truck camped out of her house whenever she was having a house party - true story! That was actually the first time I tried Muiishi Makirritos. So far I've tried the following:Swaggy Dog - these are some big rolls. And definitely delicious.Chicken Karaage Burrito - Also huge and deliciousHot Mess Fries - Nom nom nomTempura Fried Oreos - SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!I've pretty much loved everything that I've tried here so far. When they say that "Everything is Muy Bueno", I really don't think that they're lying.Only downside: it's a food truck so the wait could take a while.

LOVE their swaggy dog. It's the only roll of it's kind in Houston and I always crave it. Too bad Muishii is pretty inconsistent with their locations and opening times. It's gotten a little better lately though. Now back to the roll, the fried corn adds such a nice texture and the shrimp tempura is extra crispy. The spicy aioli sauce is also amazing. It's so good I'll actually try and hunt their truck down!

FINALLY got to try this food while the truck was at Wooster's. It took me way too long. Everything was so delicious! Rich, yet not heavy.Pork Bunz - kakuni pork belly, pickled cucumber, scallionsCrabby patty - fried soft shell crab, kani kama, avocado, spicy aioli (think of a spider roll on steroids!)Jammin Bacon biscuits w/ fried chicken - my god if I could get giant versions of these biscuits and eat them all day!!! Damn, I think I just made myself hungry again...

I get so excited when I see this food truck on campus. The swaggy dog keeps me coming back! The price point is pretty cheap for quality food.

This was hands-down one of my worst dining experiences to the point it was so ridiculous it became comical. Muiishi Makirritos was stationed at Axelrad's so me and a few others from my group decided to grab some food from this Asian-fusion food truck. I ordered the beef burrito which comes with beef, sushi-style rice, pico, cilantro, spicy mayo, and cabbage. I asked for my burrito without cabbage and without pico. As I started to eat my burrito, I discovered that there was some veggies inside (tough to tell exactly what as everything is mixed together in a burrito).I went back and let them know and they offered to make me a fresh burrito and keep my old burrito. I again stressed that I wanted no veggies and specifically mentioned what I didn't want in my burrito. After receiving my second burrito, I start eating away and discover veggies inside again. I go back to the food truck and inform them and one of the guys tells me that he put kimchi in my burrito. I was confused as kimchi isn't listed as one of the ingredients in their beef burrito on their menu. I told him that I don't want kimchi and I don't want any other veggies that they magically decide to put in my burrito. They offered to make me a third burrito free of charge and keep my old burrito. By this point you're thinking, no way they mess up again right? I sit back down and start chomping away on my third burrito and THERE IS KIMCHI INSIDE AGAIN! My group was amused and astonished at these developments and I couldn't help but laugh. At this point, I gave away my three burritos and called it a day. I mean sure sometimes a restaurant will mess up on your order once. Maybe even twice every blue moon. But three times??! I've gotta say this was a first for me. I came to the conclusion that the food truck guys were either high or they didn't like my t-shirt (I was wearing a college football shirt supporting a particular team). No matter how it happened, inexcusable. Are you able to make a burrito without veggies Muiishi?! Or is your inability to understand a customer's order as difficult to pronounce as your name?

I typically love food trucks, especially those that are strategically and conveniently placed outside of a bar or brewery with a guaranteed captive audience. Which is why I was so happy when I saw this truck parked outside of 11 Below Brewery on the northside of town. However, I left feeling meh as I ate what was a very bland Bibimbap Rice Bowl. The bulgogi had little flavor and the kimchi just plain out overwhelmed all the other flavors that might have been in the dish. On the other hand, the hubby ordered the Kakuni (pork belly) Burrito. That thing was delicious and huge, tons of food for the price. If everything we ordered was good, I would have given this truck 4 stars, but they let me down on the bulgogi bowl....Follow me on my way to Foodietown! http://britneygfoodie.yelp.com

I decided to stop by this food truck for Korean food. Turns out they also have Japanese cuisines infused on their menu. An abundant of selections from burritos, rice bowls, kimbaps to bao buns. I got their bibimbap bowl. Thejr bibimbap had beef bulgogi, shiitake mushrooms, kimchi, and a beautiful poached egg on top. The bowl look smaller than I expected but it was very filling. I'm usually not a bibimbap fan but their version of this Korean dish was refreshing and filling. Staff were friendly. Food didn't take too long to come out. It also came with a lid but I ended finishing the whole thing. Overall, I would definitely try more of their menu next time. The prices were a bit expensive but that's common from most food trucks. The portion and quality of the food were worth it.

This food truck was at Kirby Ice house the other day. Paid around $30 for loaded (not so loaded) Fries and a quesadilla. After waiting 20 minutes there was hardly any meat on the fries. Very disappointed
