M's Cakes & Bakes

Beautifully packaged hot cocoa and mocha bombs with vegan marshmallows by Madiha! Whether I order 3/5/7 cocoas, she always packed them very carefully and attractive which shows she truly cares about her work of art and wants to please her customers. I highly recommend!

The salty frosting and dry cake was not even the worst part about ordering from M's Cakes&Bakes. Our experience with Madiha was terrible and I do not recommend anyone to order from this unprofessional baker-- not to mention the barely edible cake was not worth all the drama it caused. Upon picking up our order, Madiha was very rude and totally out of line. She harassed my cousin (a minor) by physically standing in front of his car and demanding payment in cash and would not let him leave until the payment was made. Her reasons for acting so inappropriately was because she deeply distrusts the desi community and she even went as far as stereotyping all desis as untrustworthy and deceitful people not worth doing business with. Another issue with this business is that Madiha does not have a proper protocol regarding payment and her communication is faulty. She doesn't have follow up skills and professionalism as the owner of a small business, and even her ethics are questionable. When on the phone with my aunt, Madiha yelled at my aunt, a paying customer, and then hung up on her upon receiving the payment. We are deeply disappointed by the quality of Madiha's services because we expected the best from non other than a well renowned tv show competitive baker. We could've bought and made a boxed cake mix and it would've been more of a crowd hit than the terrible cake we all ate. The cake we received was an embarrassment and we definitely do not recommend anyone to give this woman business. If you want a great quality cake and an easy ordering experience, do yourself a favor and DO NOT order from M's Cakes&Bakes.

I ordered my husband's birthday cake back in March. I was constantly reaching out to her for a couple of weeks of what I wanted for my cake. She would sometimes leave me on read without replying, and when I asked if she needed clarification she said she got it. I even offered to draw out my cake how I wanted for her, she refused and said she had it down. When I arrived on time to pick up my cake, I was left outside to wait for an extra ten minutes. Upon receiving my cake, I was extremely disappointed to see it was not what I had asked for. The details were clearly rushed and not what I told her I wanted. After telling her my concerns, she said I confused her because I changed my mind. I had reached out to her so much for clarification, if there was any confusion she could've told me. I also had an issue with her frosting. My whole family expressed that it tasted like butter; tasteless. Upon telling her this kindly, she insisted that everyone liked her frosting. There was no apology or understanding on her part, just blame on the customer. Her work on her page is very talented so I'm not sure why this happened to me. There is definitely need for improvement in customer service and communication. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from her again because of the lack of communication and understanding.
