Mrs Donuts

I visited this place over the weekend and I wasn't too impressed. The customer service was okay. I had to go home and spice up my taco. I ordered a variety of different things to try (donuts/tacos/biscuit sandwiches/kolache sandwiches.

I live close by, but I was never able to visit. I finally got a chance to visit and at 9 AM they were out of glazed donuts:( I ordered a jumbo twist, and it was delicious. Wish I would have been able to get a warm, glazed doughnut. The star of the show, however, was the Boudin kolache. I'm a Louisiana girl and Boudin is near and dear to my heart. The Boudin was very flavorful and really done well. The service was very easy as there was a line inside the store. The lobby area is not very large. There are a couple tables in case you want to sit inside. With the line inside, I don't suggest staying because it can be a bit crowded. A variety of drinks are available.

Decided to try something new. Wow! These people blow shipleys out of the water!!! Their kolaches are so tasty!! And their wrapped breakfast sausage is just as good!!! Great customer service!! And clean place with a great selection of stuff!! Only bad thing is if your in the mood for an afternoon snack... their closed!! They close at 1pm!!!

I don't come here too often, just typically go here as a special treat as I'm not a big sweets fan. But, their doughnuts are consistently outstanding, from their wide variety of donuts and Kolache choices that aren't just your typical chocolate iced (although they do have that as a selection, if you want). I've always had a good experience being here. Service is kind and patient, it's not a big store up front so the line sometimes can reach the door. It's super cute around the holidays as they do decorate! Overall, it's a great little place and totally worth checking out.

Right down the street from my place. Mom&Pop shop. Owners are always there and are super friendly. The kolaches are always fresh and filling. I love the bread especially- something that difficult to find at most donut places but is so vital. I'm here a couple times a week so I think that should say enough!

Some of the best donuts I've had! They're moist on the inside and perfect on the outside. The shop has a great variety of flavors and the donuts are all affordable. I don't recall the exact price but they were less than $1.50 a donut. I'll definitely be back.

First time customer here after church and my prickly 3 yr old gave a tumbs up to the ham and egg kolache. Service was friendly even though we were ordering chaotically for 5 hungry ppl and before we knew it there was a line of ppl behind us. Just bummed that we got there when the selection was limited because it was close to closing. Especially bc everything we ended up getting was delicious. Had a mom and pop, family feel to it and reminded me of my uncle's bakery from way back when.

Without sparking the local debate of who do you prefer: shipleys or Krispy Kreme. You should defiantly try Mrs doughnuts before weighing in your answer among your friends!Mrs doughnuts has obviously been working on perfecting their dough since 1984 as their website says. I ordered a variety dozen and had delivered to my house very quickly, and packaged well. I easily ate almost 2/3 of this dozen through out the day with no intention of eating more than 2-3. Check. them. out. Next time I plan on trying some of their more fancy doing nuts like candied bacon or Oreo doughnuts.

Been in this area almost 15 years and made my first visit here this past weekend. At 9am on a Saturday, there was a line building. When I left, they were lined up outside the door. Service here was awesome, and as more stuff was bought....they kept reloading with reinforcements.I got the glazed donuts, a maple bacon, and a boudin kolache. The donuts seemed smaller compared to others I've had. The boudin kolache won't have the length and girth as other places may serve. But what lacks in size, makes up in flavor. The boudin was spicy and delicious. The pastry itself, you can tell they don't mess around when it comes to their products. It was all good. The glazed donuts weren't bad. The maple bacon was awesome. The glaze itself along with the cake donut. It was like eating a good piece, and we all love to eat some cake!All in all, I can see why this place has been in this area this long.
