Been here a few times and here are my observations. Place is very clean. Nice outdoor seating available, many indoor seats. It's a relatively big place. Happy hour m-f 4-7, sat-sun 4-6. This includes a cheaper selection of food items and some drinks. They are Pet friendly, and brought our dog a water bowl. They provide a bottle of sanitizer at every table. Now the food: We ordered kebabs, the beef wasn't chewy and of good quality meat. Swordfish was a bit lacking in flavor, so probably woundnt order those kebabs again. Chicken was our go-to. Well seasoned and not dry. Food took a bit of time to come out and was fresh made. Nothing seemed like it was sitting around. Parking in the circle driveway can get tight. Not sure where the additional parking would be. This is a "go-to" for me. I'll be returning often.

Unique spot for fresh Mediterranean food! You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I had the lamb/beef gyro with hummus substituted for tzatziki. It was tasty but I thought the meat was a bit dry. Maybe an additional sauce would be nice to add. The fries were good if you like McDonald's style fries (obviously a higher quality here but that's what they reminded me of). The pita was my favorite part- super light and fresh!

Mr. Mandolin, where flavor meets fun! I had the chicken kabob, my friend went for the chicken shawarma, and we were both on cloud nine. The Greek salad with that feta? OMG, a 10/10 flavor explosion! But wait, the Tzatziki sauce - it's my favorite part of it all! And oh, that greek orange blossom cake, it's basically dessert heaven on a plate. The ambiance is just as appetizing as the food - cozy and inviting. Service? Top-notch! Mr. Mandolin, you've got it all, from authentic and delicious Greek street food elevated with a sweet twist to fantastic staff and ambiance. If you're in the mood for a delicious adventure, don't think twice, just go here! Your taste buds will thank you!

Mr Mandolin is an excellent spot to grow lunch on a beautiful Miami day. They're tucked away inside a motel and can be a bit hard to find, but the search is well worth it!The restaurant style is casual and the atmosphere is relaxed. You order at the counter and they bring you the dishes.I got the chicken kebab inside a pita with a Greek side salad and it was delicious! At $18 I think it's a bit overpriced for a pita sandwich, but the chicken was tender and the veggies fresh.I'll definitely be coming back!

Was pretty excited to try out this spot for Happy Hour. Located inside the Vagabond Hotel & part of the Mandolin family, it's a quick & quality food spot to check out if in the area. It's nothing fancy, but it's definitely delicious & a cute location. For Happy Hour, all their items are $5. Just order a few things, and you'll have a nice spread for you and friends! I ordered their Sky Vodka with Mint Tea. Our waitress gave me a pro-tip to add their lemonade to the cocktail & she was spot on! The chicken & steak kabobs were savory. A bit too much seasoning on the steak but topping it with charred eggplant or tzatziki wrapped in a warm pita countered the spices. The Tzatziki & Charred Eggplant came in very generous portions! Only draw back was having to use the QR code to place your order. While in today's world, it isn't such a huge deal that I was having a bit of trouble submitting my order without having to give more personal information than necessary. Sometimes, the additional layer of spam that comes from these services is annoying. But nothing that can't be overlooked considering the tasty portions provided.Definitely would give them a try again!

Was happy to try this place with my gals and check out their happy hour. Most items on their HH menu are $5 which is great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You can order at the front or scan a QR code at your table and order from there. Service was friendly. The happy hour rose was good, as was the tzatziki.

Mr. Mandolin is located in the vagabond hotel in MIMO District. I had heard about this place, and was excited to try it for happy hour on a weekday. They have variety of food and drinks on specials for $5. To order, you either go to the register, or using the QR code on the menu at each table. We ordered via QR/toast and it was quick & hassle free within 5-10 mins we got our food. The dips/spreads are quite a large portion, and the skewers were delicious. I liked it & would visit again, but do keep in mind it's a casual spot, more to grab a quick bite, or take out.

This was a very nice, elevated casual Greek spot. Beautiful outdoor ambiance. Larger space inside. Small parking lot for patrons. What I found healthy and hearty food. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb kebob platter, orzo, shishito peppers, and mixed grilled veggies. You pay at a counter and they bring the food out to you. I can't believe this was my first time, and the cashier was very kind and patient to explain the menu. It was a quiet night here tonight, although I've missed coming here about three occasions due to private events or large crowds. I'd easily return.

I've come to Mr Mandolin at the Vagabond hotel several times the last couple of months and I have to say they are doing a great job! I've been coming throughout the last couple of years but more frequently recently. The service, food quality, and experience has been consistently great. Prices have gone up a bit, but sadly everything has and it's still a great bargain to get such a fresh and solid meal. I still get my usual order of the swordfish platter ($28). I order it with the rice pilaf, Greek salad, and fries. The platter comes pita bread as well that's super tasty. The flavors and preparation are great! I also have been ordering their mint lemonade mixed with hibiscus tea ($6) and it's the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Very refreshing as well. I'm a fan of the decor at the restaurant. It's modern and sleek. You have plenty of seating inside and a cute outside area as well. The manager and staff have been really friendly, kind, and helpful. Definitely a great spot in the MiMo area!
