Mr K Donut & Kolaches No 2

I got the jumbo kolache which was $2.20 before tax (a little more than other local donut shops). The sausage was big which was great and the bread was perfectly sweet. A bit more cheese would have made this 5/5! Definitely recommend if you like sausage kolaches with a good sausage to bread ratio.

My husband, sons, family and friends always stop here every morning before going to work, great, nice owners, yummy kolaches. And free donuts holes too. Please try the jumbo jalapeño cheese kolache-they use the best ingredients.

It's so good! We had the Bacon Sausage and Cheese croissant. Delicious. They were extremely friendly! We will definitely come again.

Honestly, you really don't know the magic of kolaches until you can no longer get them.Back story: I grew up down the street (northside represent!) and would come here as a kid. The jumbo kolaches with jalapeno and cheese were life changing. Over the years, I tried to like Shipley's (only like their bread) and others yet always found myself coming back to my OG spot Mr. K. Now: I have been in California (SF) for almost a decade.... I have hit up every Russian and Czech bakery in the SF area and have yet to find anything like it. Sadly, most people in CA don't know what kolaches are. -_____-Every time I come back I find myself buying by the dozen to bring back with me.Aside from their kolaches, their donuts, breakfast burritos and coffee is on point. Small seating area but I've actually never dined in. This will always be my OG/go-to spot for my fix. You're missed, Mr. K!

This place has delicious kolaches and donuts! They are open really early which is convenient and sometimes they throw in a few extra donut holes late in the day when they are about to close.

Love that this is not overly packed, open super early and do not leave without trying the Boudin Kolache. Hands down the best thing on the menu!! Just get in early as once they are sold out for the day, they aren't restocked ^-^

Love this place, not just because it's a few minutes away but the variety of to-go breakfast items they have, breakfast tacos, kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, and of course donuts! The customer service goes super fast, efficient and sweet. The place inside has seating as well, very calm and the coffee smell is there too, just amazing little gem, highly recommend to try out.

I've stopped a couple times here now on my way to work for an on the go breakfast. It's not in my usual route, so I don't go as often as I would like. As a good Texan, I love Shipley's, but I think Mr K's is better. They offer a wide variety of breakfast options from tacos to croissants. I enjoy a good boudin kolache when I can get it. I like the spicy - just enough for a little kick. The blueberry donuts are good, too. So soft and fluffy. Customer service is good and the prices aren't bad. This morning I stopped and got a donut, a jumbo boudin kolache, and a strawberry Nesquick for about $6.

Seriously since ive moved to TX ive tried a dozen donut place but OMG whe I found this place & walked in & saw the apple fritters I almost fainted! It's sooo hard to find one like this not all full of dough but crispy, super glazed, sweet, flat just perfect! OMG love this place & all donuts in it. Haven't tried the coffee yet but might as well! #LOVE

Best cake donuts and kolaches I have ever eaten. Always fresh and SO GOOD. They open early and even give free donuts to regular customers who visit late in the morning before they close. I will miss this place dearly if I ever move.
