Mr Donut and Kolaches No 8

I have relied on Mr. Donuts donuts for a few years now. For those 8am meetings, TGIF mornings, or those sudden donut cravings. MMM...donuts **mouth drools like Homer Simpson**. It wasn't until recently when I really learned of Mr. Donut's magic. I had my grad school qualifying exam in the morning and it is customary to serve the professors some snacks. Being the nervous wreck I was preping for my exam, I had no time to plan out a breakfast menu for these professors! So, the night before I just decided to call Mr. Donuts and ordered a dozen glazed donuts and two dozen variety mini-kolaches. The man on the phone was very nice and helpful with my questions about the kolaches. I arrived there at around 6:30am the next morning and my order was hot and ready-to-go. During my exam (an oral examination), I recall answering my questions and noticing the professors just munching away on the kolaches and donuts. I'm not sure how I had done it. But somehow I passed my exam...and a small part of me thinks Mr. Donut had something to do with it. Even after the exam, one of my professor told me that the jalapeno kolaches were really good. Well anyways, I think Mr. Donut's donuts and kolaches are awesome. The donuts are excellent and are comparable to Shipley's. The prices are relatively the same as other donut shops. I think what really sets them apart is the service. I can always count on a warm, welcoming greeting when I walk in. Sometimes they even give out free donut holes or apple strudels with a purchase of a dozen donuts. I guess that's one of perks about about small businesses. If live in this part of town, make sure to pay them a visit!

They're good way better than Shipleys. I use to love Shipleys but unfortunately I've been having bad batches from them for some time now.

I got Kolaches for my work meeting on 4/27/16, this was a good idea as the team was loving these! When you are in need of your next Kolache fix, stop by and get some. You will not be disappointed! They also have a variety of different types.

Great coffee and great donuts and kolaches for breakfast. If you're in the area stop by. The guys are friendly, the place is clean and it even has a drive through window. I highly recommend it!

This place is very close to home so it's very convenient to stop by. The food is always good and the owners are amazing at the service. Through and through great experiences every morning we stop by. Definitely my go to place when I bring donuts into work and for Sunday breakfast. Also, kolaches have a FULL size sausage and are plenty big and delicious! As

No complaints here. Ladies are sweet and super nice to my little girls. Croissants breakfast sandwiches are a little greasy.

Hands down. But is this place better than, let's say, Shipley's? Any kolaches connoisseur will know that not all Shipley's are alike. I would say this is on par with a Shipley's but slightly below a kolache factory.
