Mr Donut And Kolache

I'm very disappointed with their policy of adding .35 to my total because I used my debit card. It's not really about the money, it just rubs me the wrong way when I'm not treated as a valued customer when I've been giving them my business for at least 8 years (or more. It's early and I simply can't remember). Also, the food quality has gone downhill. I always order the same thing when I'm by myself- 2 sausage and cheese kolaches. When I used to take my boyfriend's daughter to school (pre COVID) we would get 4 kolaches, 1 donut, & a chocolate milk. I'm not cheap, but I really don't appreciate the extra charge, especially when I'm given 2 old ass kolaches that are still cold in the middle. There's tons of donut places nearby & I would think customer retention would play into the decision to charge extra for using a non cash method. I actually think it's illegal to do so. I understood that you can give cash payers a discount, but charging extra to use a card is against the law. Maybe I'm wrong, I'll have to check into this.To conclude, a long time customer has been lost over.35. I hope it's worth it.****I looked this up & apparently it is legal now in Texas, but I believe it's bad business.

The woman who work there is rude and very mean. The first few time I ignored her because the gentleman who work there has been nice and helpful . This mean old lady act like she doesn't want to be there, and we should go to another place of business. Well today I did. I looked her in the eye and said That's OK I'll take my money somewhere else. She shrugged her shoulders like oh well. So I took my business and all my friends to Kolache Bar on Fry RD. Glad I did. Donuts better, fresher and OMG the Kolache's is made of better Quality. So if you're thinking of going to this place don't cheat yourself. go to cover the kolache bar on fry road. And treat yourself.

I grew up on these kolaches, literally. My mom would take me and my sister here all the time for breakfast before dropping us off at elementary school across the street. I'm 19 now and I still go here almost every week. The kolaches are soft and sweet and always warm. The donuts are also amazing. I always go here because they are way better and different from any place I go to. Highly recommended!!!

The bacon egg and cheese croissant is the best thing in the world. The bacon is sweet and that's what makes me love it so much lol. I go once a week and get me and my household some. The owner is super friendly I will always go every week to this location.

Had purchased couple Long johns but can't get over why the cream is so sour??? Maybe I'll just stick to normal donuts...

We go to this Kolache place because they are open really early. Help is friendly, professional and quick. Kolaches are good. Finally tried the blueberry and banana nut muffins. They were really good.

The past 3 times I have gone here, I ask for ham and cheese kolaches and they give me sausage.... Their sausage is shitty hot dog style crap. Their bread is great and the ham and cheese are good. I even asked them if they had any ham and cheese!!! Then ordered them!!!! These people are either ignorant incompetent morons or they just do not give a shit about what you want and just sell you whatever they want. Screw you and your crappy hotdogs....

What's not to love about your local hometown donut shop. They have donuts, Kolache, croissants, anything you want from your local donut shop, they have and it's great! I specifically like to because it's so close and I love their ham and cheese Kolache a. It's like strip of ham instead of a rolled slice of ham. The dough is fluffy and sweet just the way it should be! You can never go wrong with the a sausage and cheese or jalapeño and cheese Kolache. Oh and the ham and Swiss croissant is amazing!

Update on new review: we keeping this place another chance and another and once again, a total left down. What kind of business continues to run out of Kolaches on a Sunday??? I'm sorry but if you know you'll be busy on a Sunday, make enough kolaches! I'm sick and tired of going there and they are out of everything before 7:30 am. So if I were you, find another place where they know business and know their customer base. This is frustrating. These new owners are clueless and not customer service friendly. Well I usually love this place but this is the second time I have come here early in the morning, around 7;15 and they have no ham and cheese kolaches.If you are running a business, and you know you will be busy and you know what people will want, make enough food for them. It isn't rocket science. I'm truly going to find some where else to get morning food.

I'm a new client to this place and omg this place was so good and great prices, I will be coming back for more breakfast!!!!
