Mr Donut and Kolache

Their jumbo kolaches ($2) are so delicious and worth the price for their size. The sausage and cheese proportion to the bread is perfect and the bread is also perfectly savory/sweet. I came at 10 am so the kolaches weren't fresh but the employee offered to heat them up in the microwave. So you should come early if you want the food fresh!I've only tried the kolaches but they have a large selection of breakfast items and it's conveniently located in a nearby neighborhood.

This is a great family run donut shop and such a huge part of our community in JV. Mr and Mrs donut are in here every day baking some of the best donuts and kolaches around. The boudin kolaches are amazing and the sausage they use in the jumbo kolaches is top notch. The owners are amazing people and always take time to make you feel welcome and go out of their way for special requests. Not only do they keep JV supplied with our daily fix of delicious breakfast items, they also do a lot to support the community by supporting our local youth swim team and helping out when we needed food for volunteers at our church during Harvey. JV is very fortunate to have such a great business as part of our neighborhood!

I've stopped by here every Friday for the last year. What I like about this place is that they make their donuts in small batches at a time throughout the morning- so they are always Fresh.It appears to be family run. Everyone is always really kind. Their cake donuts are off the chain good. I usually get a good variety each time, and they have all been delicious each time.Definitely would recommend supporting this local shop!

Great kolaches, excellent donuts, great location. Seriously the boudin kolaches are the best. The ladies in front are pleasant too.

First time trying their burgers! I ordered a strawberry tea that was super yummy and sweet it tasted authentic and not too sugary. The burger combo was around $8-9 a little pricey, but it was overall very delicious! The only thing I would say is that the fries should come seasoned with at least a dash of salt. I put some salt when I got home and the whole meal was perfect :) I will definitely stop by more often!

Good morning friends on Yelp I went to Mr. donut this morning April 19, 2020 finally after hearing so much about it I had read so many reviews I could not wait to see for myself yes The Apple fitters are very good the donut holes was delicious the cinnamon twist was amazing and the Kolache bread was a melt in your mouth for sore eyes what I did not like that one of the owner was trying to overcharge me had 13 items on my receipt but I only had 12 items in my bag and one drink then she tries to give me all these free donuts and say that I'm not trying to overcharge you I would not cheat you if your not then why overcharge me $1.89 three times she cancel the transaction and started over but never apologize for her actions this just goes to show always check your receipt guys these things happen a lot but we are in a hurry and we overlook them until later but I will be back the pastries was amazing I'll just pay more attention to my receipts next time

Sausage and cheese, regular. 4.0 - Sandwich. Sausage egg and cheese. Bread is a large, sweet roll.3.5 - Taco. Bacon egg cheese and potato.

This Jersey Village outpost of Mr. Donut is conveniently located next to an entrance of JV on Senate Ave. just off of the Hwy. 290 feeder in a small strip center. It's easy to find and is only open for breakfast and lunch, of course. During my visit they had a nice selection of baked goods in the display cases but I came for a quick lunch.The lunch menu consists of sandwiches and burgers costing in the $5-7 range. I ordered the cheeseburger combo that comes with the burger, fries or chips and a canned drink for $6.99. They do have some indoor seating for maybe 15-18 people max. My food came out in about 10 minutes and was hot and fresh. The burger was juicy and filling (3.5). The fries were the standard previously frozen kind but were hot and good (3). For the price the food was good taste wise and also represented good value too. Counter service was friendly.Nothing fancy here but it is a good place to come get an inexpensive lunch. I would be happy to come back.

Donuts/Kolaches were ok but they delivered SPOILED MILK with my delivery this AM - it had chunks in it - GROSS! If my post helps them check their dates - then I did a service to them and the community.
