Service was 10/10! Food was excellent as well! First visit and we tried the Kalbi Roll, Mochiko Chicken roll, and shrimp tempura. We did not wait very long before our food came. You can order from the kiosk or you can order with the staff. Everything tasted fresh had lots of flavor. The rolls had plenty of sauces but it almost made it too hard to eat as the roll. Next time we will ask for sauce on the side! The shrimp tempera was nice and crispy and came with two sauce - spicy aioli and Japanese sauce. We will visit again if we are in the area!

We were meeting a family member of mine that was in town staying in Boulder and figured the Lakewood/Golden location was good to meet in-between us for dinner one night. She accidently went to the Boulder location so she was running late meeting us. This turned in to us dining pretty late right before they closed. I felt bad for being ' those people' who walk in shortly before a place closes and they are trying to clean and wrap things up. Whoops, sorry guys!We all order some sushi burritos (rolls) and sat down while they made them. They came out quick and asked if we needed anything else. We got some wasabi and started chowing down. I got the hamachi crunch poke burrito. I would have ordered mine as a build your own but my burrito would have easily been over $20 so I stuck with the hamachi one. The fish was fresh and the roll had great flavor. I loved all of it except that it wasn't rolled tightly enough and just fell apart. I ended up having to use utensils to eat it as everything kept falling out. But great flavor. After we were done, which was past their closing time, the manager greeted us at the door and you could tell was really grateful we came in, even if it was late. He was really nice and asked us to spread the word! I hope more people hear about this place and check them out. Great sushiritos!

We pulled up to Motomaki after a long day of back to school shopping and were greeted by nice staff who were eager to help. The man who took our order was informative and helped us make decisions on what was best for us and our little one. The place overall wasn't too packed for a Friday night and is decently sized and there was nice music playing that was fun to sing along to. We each did a build your own, our daughter got a bowl and we each got wraps and filled them with cucumbers, spicy tuna, kimchi and so on! The kimchi was SOOO fresh and delicious, I was pleasantly surprised and it was nice to taste the flavor of everything individually and as it blended together. I will say I have had sushi wraps/burritos that top this one in Vegas, but if you're looking for a fresh wrap with good flavor, this may be your spot.

First time trying this place. They have sushi burrito or bowl options. I opted for the Kalbi burrito. The ingredients are plentiful but definitely hard to eat in a burrito format since the jalepeno dressing made the seaweed chewy and not strong enough to hold all the hefty ingredients. Tip - get the sauce on the side so it can be more of a handheld item. Service is super friendly. Fun photo prints adorn the walls.

Wishing this place had more locations around Denver! Tried for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Ingredients were very fresh and the mochiko chicken roll had lots of flavor. The nori does not hold up very well on the roll so be careful unwrapping the foil. I will probably get a bowl next time. Restaurant has a nice location with cute decorations. Service was fast and the workers were very friendly.

SUSHIRITO!!!!!coming from california, i am consistently underwhelmed by most seafood east. i came across this hefty sushi roll on Yelp and just had to know. i popped in at lunch, was greeted immediately. they do a happy hour with discounts on all of the menu options. i was torn on what to order but the employee at the register recommended shrimp tempura. i took his word & added a miso soup.this thing was the size of a small child. temp & textures were great. food was ready quick too! will try the fish next time & report back on quality but so far so good. quick prep time too! fast casual, great for a quick bite.

The tofu here is delicious! I want to go back just to get a side of the tofu. It is served cold, marinated in a savory and sweet sauce. I ordered a custom bowl with grilled chicken, tofu, cucumbers, sprouts, avocado, edamame, mango salsa, and spinach, on top of spring mix. I really want to try the mochiko chicken but the batter contains egg, which I am avoiding at the moment. The employee was very knowledgeable about the menu items. Pro tip: happy hour is 2-5 pm on weekdays, unsure about weekends, but makes it a much better deal since prices are a little high here, although the portion size is pretty big. Looking at my picture is making me crave the tofu so much as well as the overall bowl.

Pretty spacious cool vibe. Chipotle like fast-food style ordering system. One of rare places that has poke bowl and sushi burrito. Strongly recommend the sushi burrito with very thin layered rice with fusion mix of protein and veggies. #2 roll is my favorite. Pretty fast service. Strongly recommend to try if you are nearby.

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of food and the quality of ingredients! The reviews were kind of all over the place and I generally take a closer look at the negatives- not disappointed at all! Felt really healthy and tasted great- I got the Himachi crunch bowl with greens and a miso soup. Solid!

Motomaki is a nice choice for quick service sushi burritos or poke bowls! You can even build your own burrito or bowl if you wish. But, beware of building your own bowl/burrito, it can add up quickly! But, can also be worth it so you can customize your ultimate flavors!I opted for the tuna poke bowl that came with taro chips and it was delicious in flavor. I wished there was a little more to it, but having a tuna poke salad felt happy for my tummy and body. A healthy on-the-go option! Plus, the taro chips are excellent! They may have been my favorite part of the meal. They're crispy with light salt and a little chew to it being that it's fried taro root.The restaurant was well maintained and clean!I would come back if I was in the area again.
