The first thing the waitress told us is that they are not Kosher certified, just fyi. This cute restaurant in Aventura Mall expanded our palette for Mediterranean food. I would not normally crave it, but now, I am obsessed. I'm excited to eat more and try more. So thank you Motek for that. We started with the Roasted Eggplant Hummus that comes with some amazing bread - not pita - airy fluffy but thick dough. It was fabulous - please someone tell me what it was I forgot even though I'm sure that I asked the waitress. I could eat 5 of those. We really came for the famous Arayes Burger which is like stuffed beef kebab in a pita cut in four slices. It was amazing!! The flavors of the beef were outstanding. It comes with a sauce that I wanted to smother it in. It is an interesting concept for a burger, but it definitely works. It so famous, it comes in a vegan option using Impossible meat - which I'm sure is equally good because I prefer Impossible meat to its competitors. I want to mention the strawberry mocktail that I ordered that I can't seem to remember the name. It had mushed strawberries with some kind of bubbly. Also good! I had a splendid experience and meal. I am excited to come back to try their Happy Hour!

It was my first time at Motek and while the service was great, the food was just sub par.We tried a few different things, but nothing really stood out. I also visited their south beach location and tried different menu items, but again. Nothing was particularly amazing about any of the dishes.

Conveniently located attached to Aventura mall, this Mediterranean Israeli restaurant is not a bad choice. Motek has a few locations sprouting across Miami, and I'd say this place matches the quality of the others. Both indoor and outdoor seating. I sat inside expecting a cooler experience; however, it felt warm. The crispy cauliflower is a great sweet start. I tried the cabbage salad and added some chicken which was grilled up quite nice. My sister got the beet salad and falafel add on. The food was good. Service also as expected.

Motek was better than anticipated.The first time we had Motek in Aventura was last year and we were thoroughly impressed with the service, ambience, and food. Our server last time was Hugo and he was on top of everything and so wonderful. Very accommodating as well. We got the Shakshuka and avocado toast last time. Both were divine. I must say the Shakshuka here is the best I've ever had. It had so much flavor and the challah was amazing. We sat outdoors and it was so beautiful out at the time. The patio is always busy.This time, we decided to sit indoors as it was way too hot and humid to sit outside. Our server was David and he was great. We ordered a few different items, including the chicken Shawarma platter, spicy salmon ceviche and fennel pomegranate salad. I saw photos of the chicken Shawarma and opted to try that. So happy we did because it was bomb! I loved that they cut the chicken into small bite-size pieces. The hummus was super smooth and creamy and fresh. The side salad was refreshing. I wish they gave more bread to dip with the hummus and for eating with the Shawarma. We only got one thin piece of naan underneath the chicken and we should've asked for more.The spicy salmon ceviche was on point! I'm so happy we decided to try that. I loved the added texture of bell peppers and other flavors in there. It didn't just taste like citrus but it had a punch of spice and good flavor all in all. Same with the ceviche dish, I wish they provided more bread to eat with the ceviche. The fennel pomegranate salad was also good and refreshing, but we were so full that we didn't get to finish it. I tried to pack the remaining salad, but it kept leaking so eventually I ended up tossing it, which seemed like a waste because I would have loved to finish the leftover later.I would highly recommend as it's a whole vibe here. We love Mediterranean food in general and this is always a good experience thus far. Check it out if you get a chance. They have a new location opening soon in south Miami. Motek is taking over the old Prime Fish location.Love me some Motek! Thanks for great experiences on both visits. I'm seriously impressed.

I was surprised to see schnitzel on the menu, but it looked like a lot of people were ordering it for lunch. I got it, and it was a good pick. I tried my friend's Kufta kabob. It was good, but I think my sandwhich and the Moroccan Cigars were better. The Halva Silan ice cream was next level rich. It was exquisite and made me feel like Royalty with each bite. Great place for lunch. They know how to turn over quickly without making you feel rushed or like something was missing. They add 20% gratuity to every check. Our total was $120 for two people for lunch.

I had been hearing about Motek from a few friends whose food judgments I trust. So when I finally went on a double date I was thrilled to see what the rave was all about. I love Mediterranean food as is but Motek really did pleasantly surprise me and leave me wanting more. It's located in Aventura mall, the outside area and it has a very cute design and ambiance to it. You can go dressed up or down, whatever you prefer. The staff was kind and friendly. Our waiter helped with our selection. We got a lot of items to try out. I was told the hummus was a MUST and I concur, the hummus is a MUST! The babaganoush was great as well. For my entree I ordered the Arayes burger which was voted best burger and I can totally see why. Very juicy and flavorful. The chicken shawarma was delicious as well. All the food tasted fresh. I will be back here again!

This was my first time trying Israeli food and it was delicious. I had breakfast here with a friend and we both got the Israeli breakfast. It comes with a salad, eggs, bread, and lots of different spreads. They have all day brunch too which is nice! I enjoyed all the food and they have vegan and gluten free options. We also got a banana tahini shake which was great! The service was good and our food came out really quickly. We were seating right when we arrived and our server was very friendly. I'm in love with this restaurant!!! We wanted to visit this place for a while and we finally did and it was fabulous!!! Food crazy good , we order the mushrooms hummus that was spicy and the falafel and both couldn't be better, we had drinks and they were delicious excellent!!!
