Moshava has been on my radar for a while from their popups at Herman's Coffee Shop, and when I saw them at Manayunk StEAT Fest, I shavad mo way through the crowds and got in line, and once I got my food all I wanted was mo to shava in my mouth! They were busy and looked a bit overwhelmed and it took a while to get the food, but it was so good! There were options of 3 bowls- shnitzel, falafel, and shwarma, priced at about $15-16 I think? All came with rice and chick peas, and there were other options for some sides like hummus, fries and tater tots. The best thing we got were the lamb pita pockets- highly recommend those and the sauce was so good! We also really enjoyed the shnitzel and lamb shwarma with bok choy. The green spicy zhug sauce was super spicy! This place israeli delicious, highly recommend following them on ig to find out where you can find them!

Our friends had the food truck to their party. The food was really great and there were some interesting twists that I really adored. The sweet potato fries, for example, were irregular chunks of roasted sweet potatoes, skin on, and deep fried to toasty crispy perfection. The chicken wings were (strangely) huge, well seasoned, and tasted like true love. The hummus and labne were the best I've ever had. I'm definitely going to follow them around in the future. Note: they got my husband's order completely wrong , hence the 4 instead of 5 star review.

I was so excited finally to be able to experience Moshavah. I had had this food truck on my to do list for quite a while. The friend I was with didn't even look at the other trucks--she was excited to try the food, too. It seemed overpriced, but we didn't know how much food there would be and we were ready to pay the asking price for the joy of trying this truck at the festival. What a disappointment all around. The shawarma was very salty. The falafel was overdone (and, disappointingly, not from chickpeas). The schnitzel (That was schnitzel?) was so overdone...and it was absolutely tasteless. They managed to take one of my favorite foods and make it just horrible. The food was a mediocre meal at best. This makes me so sad. I was so excited. I'm posting this review in the hope that perhaps they'll change their ways and make better tasting food in the future. .
