Morton's Grille

Hostess was fantastic and chef was great. Online advertised one menu for this location, but menu was different when we arrived. Chef went ahead and made it anyway. They really went out of their way to make it a good experience. Server was ok, nice, but forgot a few things and dropped check mid-breakfast. Don't like having to stop eating to pay check when we may want dessert or another drink.

Shoutout to Taylor, hands down best server ever. Food was exquisite, my compliments to the chef. The Carpetbagger oysters were to die for. Came here to celebrate my dads 60th birthday and the menus said "happy birthday" which I thought was a very sweet touch. All in all I highly recommend coming here, you will not regret it. Thank you Taylor and restaurant staff for making my dads birthday a special one.

I have been here a few times over the years. No serious complaints or concerns, it just does not "wow" me. The food is good, the service is fine and nothing really has been bad. It's just that this is a Morton's. It not just a steakhouse, it's a Morton's. For me, and having dined at many other Morton's, there should be something more special about this place. Granted, it is a Grille as opposed to the full steakhouse. Maybe that is the point. However, the prices seem that of the full steakhouse, so that is the experience I would expect.Generally you need a reservation if sitting in the dinning room. The bar is first come first serve, but if you get there late it is pretty full as well. Bar selection is good so is the wine. I like the filet quite a lot as well as the grill asparagus. I don't think you will have a bad time here, I just think it is an average Steakhouse / Grille.

We started a Girls Grub Educators Out Dinner Group back in the fall where we get together once a month, break bread and fellowship at a chosen restaurant. We decided to do a change up for a twist and check out a brunch instead for the month of March. We chose the Morton's Grille in the Woodlands, and we were sure glad we did.Reservations were made prior but once there we had the option to sit indoors or outside. The weather was pleasant and although we had originally chosen indoors, they accommodated us without hesitation to sit outdoors. The staff was great, and the outdoor ambience was pleasant with sunny skies and decent weather.Their brunch menu was very pleasing to the eye and palate. We enjoyed mimosa flights, appetizers of the Jumbo Shrimp Diablo and Crispy Firecracker Shrimp. Our entrees consisted of the Red Fish w/Dirty Rice, Texas Chicken Fried Lobster, and the Jumbo Lump Crabcake Florentine. Very flavorful and absolutely delicious.We also celebrated one member in our group birthday. She selected the key lime pie which was very tasty.As a result, we have decided to include brunch once in a while instead of having dinner with the group. Morton's Grille certainly helped us make that decision. We were looking forward to seeing one of our former students Lionel, but figured he must work the evening shift which means we will return one month to partake in their dinner.We highly recommend Morton's Grille, The Woodlands, Texas.

We were here for New Years and we had a lovely time. From the ambience to the service. We had a great table with an amazing view. Our server and the managers and hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed! I can't wait to come back! Best Cajun rib eye and crab cakes in the city!I also enjoyed the spinach. The only bad thing is I asked the server to pack my food to go and she didn't include my salad. I kind of wanted my salad to go as well with my other entrees because there was more than half of it left. But it's okay!

Update 01/27/2024: I was contacted by the business and they have apologized profusely about my experience. After speaking with 3 different people from Morton's, and how they are handling this situation, I have decided we will return. Especially since Mr. Joe has now added official kids options for this restaurant. Feedback was given, feedback was taken, and as a Landry's brand lover I am so glad to have heard from them. *I have not accepted anything from this establishment for this updated review.*First entrance of this restaurant we were greeted by two amazing people. I was instantly feeling it based on that. We were then greeted by a bartender that was also amazing. We were then transferred to another bartender and that's where our experience went downhill. She in my opinion did not want to be at work. She walked away and came back and we thought ok she's better now. Nope! Still didn't change my opinion on her. Sucks that everything started so well and then bam. We ordered a kids chicken tender and firecrackers shrimp. She did give a heads up that the kids tenders were the same price as the chicken sandwich to which I opted not to get the sandwich yet when I received my check, the sandwich was on there. Why is a kids chicken tender meal $18? Yes I had my daughter (10 years old) with me. $18? It was nowhere near worth it for frozen tenders dropped in a fryer. Also, when asked about the sandwich, this waitress/bartender replied, we are a steak house. Well I know where I walked into however why have items on your menu that you do not think is good? All three stars go to the greeter at the door, the manager at the table, the first bartender that served me to whom I wish would have just been with us the entire service AND the Gouda bites. The Gouda bites were the best thing I had tonight. Not sure I will return, sadly!

We went to Morton's Grille for our 55th anniversary. The meal was very good but unfortunately it doesn't compare to to the Morton's restaurant. The best part of the meal was the service. All the staff was excellent.

Celebrated my 21st with my parents at Morton's and had a great time. I highly recommend to get the Smokey Joes Mac N' Cheese side as well as the Gouda tater bites. The shrimp diablo was ok but maybe priced a little too high. The drinks were on par for the price so nothing to really complain about!
