Ambiance is likely the best part about this restaurant. The entrance is elegant looking and the interior has lots of flowers and bird decor (sort of like a grown up version of Rainforest Cafe kind of look). The staff was attentive, if not particularly welcoming or smiling. Food was a solid very good, but not really amazing, though it was very attractively prepared. All of the coffee beverages (lattes and mochas) were lukewarm. Be warned that a Peacock is an immense amount of food and distributed among two full sized dinner plates and a separate large ramekin of grits. Calamari has a nice, light and crispy breading, but is a bit skimpy on the actual calamari. The cinnamon rolls are on the small size (sort of the size that you would get if you bought a roll of cinnamon rolls from the refrigerated section of a grocery store, so if you allot half a roll per person, it's more of a bite than a real serving. Having said that, the cinnamon rolls were surprisingly unpopular. I thought they were okay tasting, and warm, at least, but the other diners felt that they were doughy and underdone. The texture suggests that they are made with a kind of cinnamon flavored cake batter rather than cinnamon flavored bread dough. The bananas foster pancake was quite tasty, but the notion that someone could eat a pancake that large, along with eggs, protein, potato, and grits is kind of scary. Fortunately I don't mind taking home leftovers. The bananas Foster French toast also looked lovely. The biscuits and gravy were surprisingly tasty (I'm not usually a biscuits and gravy person) and I think it's due to the turkey sausage in the gravy. Avocado toast was quite attractively prepared and probably the prettiest thing on the table. French fries, however, were surprisingly unattractive compared to the caliber of the rest of the food. Definitely would not order them unless someone is going to die without fries. All told, it's a lovely spot to visit if you're celebrating a special occasion, but it's not the kind of place that I would want to keep coming back to over and over.

Not sure why it took over an hour to get our food. There was no "brunch rush", so not sure why it would take that long. The cinnamon rolls were burnt and dry, huge bummer. The grapefruit juice was "bad" to the point it tasted spoiled, even the waitress said "oh it's probably gone bad?" Food was mediocre, nothing special. Bizarre. Definitely not going back.

After seeing pictures of the cutest interior, my daughter and I made an afternoon date to eat at Morningbirds in Roswell. Parking was readily available and the outside looked so darn cute. We are both gluten free- not celiac but do have reactions if we eat gluten. We went in and waited for a hostess or someone to check us in for several minutes. Not one employee even made eye contact even though there was a girl doing something at the bar right behind the check in counter. We had an older couple come in behind us and after a few minutes still waiting for any form of acknowledgment, she asked if we had ever been here and we hadn't. This was her first time too. After at least 7 minutes the blonde bartender (who we did find out sat everyone who came in after us), sat us but only after giving us a rude lecture that we should always make reservations (it was kinda empty at the time and I had checked and there were so many times available we decided to just go in) and never once smiled at us, welcomed us, or the sweet older couple behind us, who also didn't make reservations. We stayed for the ambiance. The waiter was nice, not overly attentive, and the manager seemed nice. It wasn't busy and it says in the menu that the food takes longer than a normal restaurant to come out of the kitchen- honestly what we ordered did seem like an overly long wait time though. We had to ask for a drink menu. Like why isn't it brought out with menus????They need a hostess or someone who will actually make guests feel wanted. The older couple and us almost left without even being seated bc we felt unwelcome. Maybe the manager, who had a lovely smile, should be checking people in. (We THINK she was a manager. She never said but it seemed like it. Honestly, she should have stepped in with welcoming guests and taking care of tables)We ate and didn't have any reaction to the food so that's good. We had the American Bird (omelette) and the Bird Song (parfait but it didn't have any granola). Food was okay. Not great. If you want to see a cute restaurant then go to this, but it's definitely not worth it to us. We won't be back.

Morningbirds is a cute, well decorated brunch restaurant co-owned by Anthony Hamilton in the Roswell area. Everything is scratch made and delicious, especially the bananas foster pancake. ..Yummmmmyyyy!! This has to be the "BEST" pancake I've had yet.. so light and fluffy it wasn't like your traditional pancake mix, but more of a cake or doughnut batter.. either way, it was AMAZING.. service wasn't fast being that everything was cooked to order, which was okay, but still a little annoying. Especially if you're "HANGRY" like I was... LOL!I'm definitely a fan of Anthony Hamilton's music, but I'm not on board with the long wait time for food. I even overheard another patron saying their food took too long as well. I would definitely return for the pancakes alone and see if my next visit renders a different response in my review.

Absolutely delightful little spot in Roswell. Came for brunch on a Saturday and immediately knew that I was going to love it. The decor is so nice and upscale and perfect for a date or a girly brunch.I had the chicken and waffles, and it was yummy. And a cocktail, although I can't remember, the name was also good. My companions also enjoyed their food and omelette and pancakes. Service was great. Very professional and not too pushy. I had such a lovely experience that before I left I stopped and made reservations for Mother's Day.

This is the first time we visited this restaurant. We decided to give it a shot for Sunday Brunch. The decor was pleasant and the staff were attentive and delightful. The menu is extensive. Most notably is that they focus on natural ingredients. Very commendableBe forewarned, the portions are enormous! The food was all delicious and served hot. Definitely will be going back again.

Idk where to start but I just want to say that this was MY experience here so I'm just laying it out there. I am not exaggerating the time stamps of our experience here. Disclaimer (I've been a food and beverage manager for 10 years) Came into town to celebrate my birthday this weekend. There are dozens of brunch places to go to and I stumbled on this one and set on this place. Made a reservation for 1pm. My friend was there right at 1 and I came in about 1:07. No one had been to the table. We continued to wait and just try to make eye contact with ANYONE to notice us. I asked a young girl did she know who our server was and could she help us out. Also there was no drink menu present and we had to ask her for one. It was not 1:25 with NO ONE even acknowledging us. 1:31 a girl came up and said "hi my name is June I'll be taking care of you. Do u know what u wanna drink?" We ordered our drinks. Not any water given to us at the very least in the meantime. Then maybe 10 mins later a guy named Johnny comes to our table. "Hello ladies has anyone been with you or taken ur order?" I said yeah...did she not tell you? He told us she not only did not put our drink order in but didn't even tell him. In my head I'm thinking how is this even happening?? Then he comes back after a few mins and says I went ahead and put ur drinks in. Should be just a few more mins. It's almost been an hour and we're JUST gonna get our drinks? He asks us is there anything else you want for now. We said yeah we ordered those cinnamon rolls with June since they take longer. And of course come to find out she never put them in. Wow. I'm tempted to talk to a manager at this point. Actually I would've thought a manager would've stopped by at least to apologize for all the delays. I couldn't tell who was a manager to be honest. We were waiting for a friend to come who was running late but that should not have caused these types of delays in just simply getting water and our drinks to start with. He takes our order, it is now 2:20 and our food arrives at 2:50. I asked him for ketchup and hot sauce when he dropped the food off. He came back with hot sauce. Then I said can I please also get some ketchup. He never came back with the ketchup. I like to eat my potatoes with ketchup, please help me out. Then he comes back to the table 10 mins later. I said can I please get some ketchup. He said oh my bad I gotcha. By this time I'm just over it. It's about 3:15 and this random person who came from the back (maybe a manager?) says "ya know ladies, this is a premium booth right here and we charge extra for staying longer." We all looked at each other like huh? And he was apparently joking. Basically hinting at us that we were there too long and they were wanting us to go. We were the only table there I guess? But seriously? It says ur hours for Saturday and Sunday are 8am-5pm.... It's 3:15. At this point that just rubbed me the wrong way and I asked for the check. Johnny brought us the check on one, which is fine. He didn't ask how we wanted our checks. $150, nothing comped or taken off to at least just make up for how long it took for us to even be greeted or our drinks taking forever. There was no bar guest at that time either when our drinks took long. I'm only not giving this a 1 star because Johnny was nice and attentive after we finally got what we needed. The food was mediocre and honestly I'm deeply disappointed that I had brunch here and wasted this time. We should've gotten taken care of in some capacity and or there should've been a manager that stopped by. I chose not to complain and just hope for the best. But next time I know to speak up. No apologies were said and I will not be back. I hope everyone does better and pays more attention. We still tipped 20% of the bill; but so not worth it. The place is beautiful and has a great area to take photos outside. But that doesn't matter when your guests wait 30 mins just to get water or noticed.

First time going, and we will be back! Food was delicious especially the cinnamon rolls, OMG!! What I didn't know is that all the food is organic, and fresh, and I am a huge fan of both. Shoutout to Josh for his great service, we will absolutely be back!

This is the shortest review I have ever written. People if you some AMAZING, MOUTHWATERING, DELICIOUS, GUT BUSTING, UNBUTTON AND UNZIP YOUR PANTS TYPE OF FOOD. Y'ALL RUN TO MORNINGBIRDS FOR YOUR BREAKFAST/BRUNCH FULFILLEMENT. Outside of the gorgeous fairy wondrous decor. And the best hospitality you can ask for. Again run to Morningbirds. Look at these pics. Just written this review. I want to get up off the couch and go sit and wait until they open in the morning. DANG

Always looking for brunch places that are close to home. Saw this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try. The decor of the place is lovely... reminded me of mini garden. They really paid attention to the decor. They pride themselves on being 100% organic. Everything is made fresh to order, so I don't recommend you come starving. We had the blueberry mimosa, and the entree was called the peacock, which offered a little bit of everything. While our server was pleasant, the service was extremely slow...and I do mean slow. It took almost 15 minutes before our server came and took our drink order and another 10 before we ordered food. The food was delicious. As I stated, I had the Peacock, which was a sample of everything. I had the buttermilk pancake, stone grits, Applewood bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The only thing that threw me off were the grits. It tasted like they use chicken broth to flavor the grits, which can sometimes detract from the taste. Nothing needed salt or pepper or any condiments. Food was fresh to order, hot, and delicious.I would go back and hope the service is a little faster. Overall, it was a good experience and beautiful decor.
