Morgans Restaurant

Came here for brunch with friends. We had been to the other location in midtown a few years ago and wanted to try new location. The food did not disappoint. Still delicious and great size portions. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. When I made the reservation, there were options for upstairs, downstairs, and patio. I wish I would have asked for upstairs because it was much cuter up there. The downstairs dining was fine but decor was just ok. Before we left, we went upstairs and it was much cuter. Next time we will definitely reserve a table upstairs. All in all, I will definitely return.

Morgan's has been a favorite for many years. The owners run a solid business, and the food is always fantastic. Now that they have a new location, I was curious to see if anything is different. To my surprise, yes! They have more seating to go with the same awesome food and terrific service! I love Miami because it is a real melting pot of cultures. Morgans feels especially welcoming because it reflects that same diversity. I had the Asian salmon for Saturday dinner, and the Fried Chicken, Biscuits and Gravy for Sunday brunch. Yum!! Bottom line, there are three words to remember: "Delicious, Consistent, & Morgan's."

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times now and I loved every visit. The food is so good, their menu has a great selection. Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. The restaurant location is new and absolutely so chic. My favorite is library upstairs. The decor is designed nicely with plants and art deco furniture. The service each time has been sublime. The staff is super helpful and even the valet attendant is super friendly and remembers a face

I was really excited to go to Morgan's today as I used to frequent the old location quite a bit. I was really impressed with the new location. The aesthetic is beautiful and gives ultimate brunch vibes. My friend and I ordered a few entrees and sides to share since we were really there to catch up more than to eat. We shared the stuffed French toast, which was delicious along with a veggie omelette, which was humongous and came with a side of potatoes and toast. Of course it wouldn't be a girl brunch without a Caesar salad and fries, and I will reiterate that the portions were out of this world; we literally had so much food left over to take home. I would definitely come back with a heartier appetite of course.

First time at the new location. We sat on the ground floor and I was a little disappointed with the decor. But...move up to that second floor and wow! The ambiance is exactly what I would've expected from Morgan's. Service was excellent. We received all our orders in a timely fashion and best of all, we weren't rushed to eat and run. The food of course was amazing as expected. It was my first time ever having beignets....omg....you have to have these.

Apparently, I'm the only one of my friends that has never been here but I'm glad I came.Recently moved to a new location so I can't compare it to the old place but this new place has quite a vibe. A lot of modern art thrown up against vintage 70's decor. Very colorful but it a calm way. Has a bar areas as well as outdoor seating. Parking is most stressful thing about this location.I loved the menu. I loved the selection of sweet vs savory and even the vegan options looked nice. I was very impressed with the vegan/vegetarian options. They don't skimp on portion size. I was very full by the time I left. My server was very attentive and kind. Nothing extraordinary. The place was somewhat empty when I was there. Very unique place to enjoy brunch with friends.

Morgans has a sultry atmosphere in the back area. It gives speakeasy/ retro diner vibes overall with a personal smooth touch. You have to see it to fully understand. Just feels nice. The food was and beverages were fresh to order and delicious. I went with a large group and buy large I mean a party of over 10 to 15. On this Friday night we had one server trying to accommodate all of us. He did his best and I didn't hear any complaints from my many companions. Back to the food. The portion sizes for the meals are just perfect. Not too much that you'd get stuffed yet not on the lighter side. Most of the ladies ordered sangria, champagne or wine. All of those options were in light and refreshing flavors. I ordered the salsa verde gnocchi with a side of sautéed spinach. They both were prepared well, not overly saturated with oil or sauce. Someone next to me ordered a fish and two others at my table ordered burgers with a side salad. Those portions were all decent. I couldn't see what the other 10 women ordered but like I said, I heard no complaints. Parking is a bit of a hassle depending on the timing. There was a parking lot free of charge in the back and street parking which is done by the pay by phone app. Of course the back parking is usually full, but you may get lucky and find a spot. Besides the lot, as I mentioned earlier, there's plenty of street parking and it's adjacent to the restaurant. You may have to walk a bit if they or the nearby establishments are busy. Bonus, kids 11 and under eat free, they do offer brunch and every day is happy hour. However, happy hour is not for large groups so we were not able to utilize that offer.*Note don't get lost. Their restaurant moved and I ended up going to the wrong location before I found the new one. It is not too far away from the original restaurant just an inconvenience. Please confirm that you are going to the new and correct location before you follow goggle, use Yelp instead .

I visited this establishment on February 24,2024. I was alone so I was given the option to sit at the bar. I was there around 11:30am and it was already pretty packed. The server was amazing and was attentive. The restaurant as a whole has a very welcoming atmosphere and the workers all appeared to get along with one another. I had the chicken and waffles which were delicious. To drink I had a white sangria and let me tell you, it was amazing. Please note, the parking lot is small so you may have to park on the street. I was lucky to have gotten a spot when I was trying to turn out. If you don't see a parking spot upon entering don't continue going toward the back, it will be hard to turn around (I got stuck in a small hole while trying to turn around). I will definitely go back with my family or friends.

Tropical carribean look and feel there's a spacious outdoor patio area although there's not a whole lotof scenery to enjoy. The building is indeed aged and needs a good makeover somehow because you really feel it's a time warp from 60 years ago I ordered the "English" breakfast (bacon, roasted mushroom, beans, pork sausage, toast and two eggs - I chose scrambled). Everything seemed well done - which I do prefer with eggs and breakfast meats. Sometimes that kills the flavor though. Overall I thought it was good eats and hits the spot if you're famished. Service regular, nothing spectacular. That's all.

One of my best friends recommended that I should try Morgan's restaurant next time I'm in downtown Miami. After leaving the Balloon Museum, my cousin and I decided to try Morgans. It's recommended to do a reservation online ahead of time. As soon as you wall in, you are greeted by the friendly hostess, who takes you to your table at your reserve time. This restaurant has a rustic vintage chic appeal to it. There were multiple forms of art displayed while soft music played in the background. Our waiter was very friendly and helped us navigate through the menu. We ordered the strawberry lemonade and iced chai as drinks. We then ordered the frittata with hash spuds and the egg white omelette that came with hash spuds. The portion sizes of this restaurant are huge! The food is amazing and perfectly cooked; I'm in love with their hash fuzz, which are thick pieces of potatoes fried to perfection. Needless to say I have leftovers for breakfast the next day lol. I cannot wait to come back and try more from Morgan's, especially their lunch menu.
