Over a year ago I was talking to some people from Argentina and we ended up discussing pizza. I never thought of Argentina and pizza together, and this was the place they recommended I try. Inside is a very simple cafe vibe. The service was quick and friendly. I met up with a friend and so we decided to try a bunch of different empanadas, split the big pizza, and I had to try this dessert after seeing pictures of it on Yelp. The empanadas came out pretty quick. Everything was hot and super fresh. My favorite was the Fugazetta which tasted like I was eating French onion soup in a pocket. My second favorite was the ham and cheese which I almost didn't pick. It was like a decadent Hot Pocket. I had really high hopes for the spicy beef and the chicken, they were both good, but not on the same level as the other two.Our pizza arrived just after eating the empanadas. The timing couldn't have been better. I was impressed just looking at it. Tasting it was even better. I had never had a chorizo pizza. It said it had chimichurri, but I didn't really see or taste that. I kind of expected that to replace the sauce. Maybe it did but there just wasn't enough? I would have liked to either more chimichurri under the cheese, some on top, or at least someone the side. I ended up using some of my leftovers from the empanada to kick it up.I was already stuffed, but I just had to try this beautiful dessert I had seen pictures of on Yelp. It was amazing. In fact I would go back just to take someone for this dessert. For sure it should be shared... Don't try to tackle it alone!I look forward to coming back!

The limoto ribeye with some pink with the chimichuri on top was very tasty. The meat was tender, lightly seasoned and was a delight. We also tried the cheese and onion fuzagetta, the alfajores If you are an espresso lover, give it a shot. Overall very pleasant, tasteful and enjoyable work lunch. very pleasant, tasteful and enjoyable work lunch.

We happened to be by Westheimer and Kirkwood and stopped by to try for to go lunch.Service was good and food packed well and good value.1) Best empanadas - so flaky like a pate Chaud crust and the beef and spicy beef were excellent . 2) lomito filet mignon with mashed potato - meat was juicy and we liked that it wasn't saucy - the potatoes were fine and good size 3) chicken Milanese heated well for dinner and the rice was good 4) flan was flantastic and tasted just like my moms Vietnamese home made flan Highly recommended! We will try more things especially more empanadas.

The wife and I stopped in on a recommendation from someone living in Argentina. Neither of us had ever eaten Argentinian food and boy were we in for a pleasant surprise! Oddly enough we both went with pizza and fries. These pizzas were bursting with flavour and dripping with grease, which was a good thing! Definitely recommend!

When I lived in the area I wanted to try this place but never got the chance so while in the area I had to stop. Morfi Argentino is a cute family owned (I think) place. The older lady greeted us and was very friendly. Our waiter gave us time to look over the menu and we did not feel rushed. The best thing we're the empanadas they came out super out and crispy. The chicken Milanese was really good but the fries were lukewarm which meant they got cold real fast. The pizza was a bit greasy but still good.Next time I'm in the area I would stop again for lunch.

Very cute establishment! As I walked in we were greeted. We sat down and got our menus & cups to fill up at their drink station. Only Pepsi products besides that they do have a fridge to the side for other options. I ordered their Lomito/Filet Mignon - medium well and mashed potatoes. For starters, we had the beef empanadas. Super flaky & soft. It came with some chimichurri. Very delish! Now my only complain with my main entree was that the meat was overcooked. The mashes potatoes just didn't seem fresh to my likings nor had seasoning. Luckily there was table salt & pepper to adjust. Our waiter was very nice, definitely would love to come back to try out more!

Cute little place. Best empanada I've had in Houston area. I like mine baked and it turned out better than I expected. My eyes lit up at first bite. It was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. I ordered the Humita which was super tasty with flavor and not overpowered by salt. I paired it with a green salad which was so beautiful when presented. It was fresh and tasty. Presentation of all the food we ordered was well done. My husband and I shared a Choripan sandwich. Best chorizo I've ever eaten. It tasted really familiar, like something I've had when I was young and haven't had since until now. Delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. We were short on time this visit but will surely return to try more. I need an alfajor with a coffee.

So now that they've lifted the curse of the BAMBINOAnd now that DeNiro's been in a scene with PACINOAnd now that Jimmy Fallacy has replaced Jay LENOHe'll Fallon his sword like U2 with Brian ENOAnd now that Vegas is 10 times bigger than RENOAnd now the puppet Trump made the nation his CASINOAnd now the system's broken down like drowning in AMINOAnd now that all his voters are phobic of XENOAnd now that we're divided into Black, White, LATINOAnd now that I will never date Mira SORVINOAnd now that I've been robbed in Barcelona and TORINOAnd now that Habanero is hotter than JALAPENOAnd now that I've been declared honorary FILIPINOAnd now I've been declared as the master of VAGINOAnd your boyfriend is officially smaller than SAN MARINOAnd has scored as many times as Superbowls for DAN MARINOAnd now we're in Westchase Houston, I insist that you and ME GOFor the best B.A. food from MORFI ARGENTINOWHAT?One of my fave restaurants in the city! Five stars all the way! All the way to B.A. And no I don't pronounce it like they did in Starship Troopers!I'm not sure why Tina gets a discount here. They're charging everyone a certain amount, consistently, but you should see how *little* they're chargin'-Tina.This is probably the best Argentinian food we've had in Texas. Incredible steak sandwich, especially the "all the way" expensive one, and wonderful food across the board here. I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious, and the service is wonderful, Also, the people running it are a great bunch. You can watch all the Argentina World Cup games here, and when Argentina win (current world champions), they know how to party. Oh, and the food is as good as Qatar was for Lionel Messi. If you're a fan of Jason And The Argen-auts, you'll love the food here. I did. This is also the home of the Mighty Morfi Power Rangers. As I said, it's one of the best and most awesome little hidden gems in Houston, and we're talking about some of the most delicious Argentine treats and sandwiches and foods, and basically if you want delicious Argentinian food, this should be the place that you come. There's even pictures of Argentine legend Diego Maradona on the walls. Maradona once felt "Like A Virgin" but he yearned not for a partner but for good food. "Like A Prayer" being answered, this restaurant showed up. It's a trendy, hip spot that is currently in "Vogue" in the Westchase area. Some of the best Argentinian food I've had, from some of the nicest people, especially the heavenly steak sandwich.Astrology is a big deal in Argentina, and since I'm a Taurus and you're a Buenos Aries, we should we well matched. Let's go on a dessert date here, together.Indeed, this is where I would send you out of all the similar spots in the whole city and personally, I can't wait to come back here again.Prices are higher than they should be, but if you don't have the cash, put it on your Arge-card.I'm not in Houston now, so I can't go back and visit at the moment. But Don't Cry For Me, Morfi Argentino. The truth is, I never left you.

What a nice restaurant we found. We were out and about in Houston and didn't know where to go eat. I looked up Yelp and this family restaurant came up with great reviews. It was like a small cafe and cute. The staff were nice and friendly and the food we ordered were fantastic!Filet Mignon was so tender and flavorful. 5 Stars!!! We decided to taste two different types of desserts and both were great Italian desserts. We've never had anything like these and we were so happy to find this place!!!

Cute place. Servers were very attentive! Empanadas were a nice find- enjoyed the ham and cheese. Flaky and delicious for this style of empanadas. My son loved the personal sized pizza with chicken alfredo topping.Dessert was a crumbly cookie with cajeta in the center!
