Moonshine Philly

The food and the restaurant were great ! I would say the service was pretty good too although sometimes the woman server seemed inattentive to us as she was to other patron. The ambiance was cool just like a regular bar in the hood. I don't think I'll be back tho at least not anytime soon.

Love the outdoor seating but the food leaves more to be desired. Have had the chicken sandwich before which was good. The mac and cheese doesn't really seem like mac, moreso just bow ties in a bland cheese sauce. The chicken with it made it more flavorful. Ordered the classic burger and asked for it medium and it came well done. Honestly not sure if this is a place the actually takes temperatures for burgers based on the look of the patty. Tots were good though!

Been here a few times and disappointed each time I want to love this place but i just can't.Service is ok and the location is awesome. But the food and drink has been consistently terrible. Once ordered Meatloaf Au Poivre... which seemed like a great idea. And while the sauce and meatloaf where probably really good - whomever prepared it took the pepper part of the recipe way to far... the entire plate was covered in whole, uncooked black peppercorns making it inedible :( I wasn't sure if it was a joke or not. Again it's in a great spot so I've been back - but each time I've ordered something it's been tough to finish. I'm not a picky eater and have brought other folks who say the same. Hopefully one day I'll end up there and it will be amazing!!

We love moonshine!!!! It's very close by which is obviously a plus lol but they're also usually open when i wait too late and need a bite to eat. The food is tasty and it's a nice little place, but with more room than Id thought before - last time we went they were doing an event and took us up to another floor to eat :0

Good food, very nice staff, all in all a great place, just a little pricey for me or I'd give 5 stars!

First time in Pennsport area and brought our two kids and sat outside for lunch. Nice little corner spot with friendly and fast service. Good food and good drink selection too.

I was just passing by and hungry so I get an order to go, tried thier crab cake sliders and it was delicious! Definitely would be back again for it. Looks like a chill neighborhood bar! And they have outdoor seating as well if that's what you prefer!

You must go. In SoPhilly and they have parking!! Totally unassuming corner place, bigger inside than you think. Def neighborhood bar but an amazing menu so so many things to choose from to please all palates. Ask about specials they are a winner, solid drinks too. Oh I'm telling everyone about them. Knowledgeable servers who have pretty much eaten everything there because they been with them for some time. And they have a few tvs with sports on for ya too. Go go now. You won't be disappointed. And the wings crispy, fries perfect and the chicken picatta ravioli.... Oooohhh weeee. They keep it crispy under the sauce, ravioli perfectly cooked. Fresh mozzarella sticks and the creamy balsamic on the salad--- yum!!

Good spot, my daughter and I enjoyed Burgers, my wife the chicken cutlet sandwich, cold beer, great service... I'll be back again when visiting my daughter

We were in Philly to catch the Braves for opening day. We ran intoMoonshine on our way to the stadium. Amazing atmosphere and great drinks. They even raffled off 2 tickets to the Phillies game. Would recommend.
